Is etnies.com Legit?

They really just don't want to do refunds. The package that I sent back to them was returned to me because the customs forms that THEY emailed me wouldn't work. This is a cut and paste of their response to me:Thank you for reaching out and sorry to hear that your shipment got returned back to you.All your described problems have nothing to do with us; we are not Dutch customs and can't do anything about their procedures.We have also nothing to do with your shipment back to us from the UK, you need to arrange your own return shipment.We have many returns from the UK without any issues but it could be that duties need to be paid.Please do not use Royal Mail but use couriers like UPS instead.Thank youEtnies Customer SupportI've already paid to return the items, what company doesn't include a free returns label in this day and age?

I got a new pair of Etnies about 4 months ago and the bottom of the right shoe has almost completely come off, it looks like a giant tongue and the other side is starting to fall apart to. Would not recommend they are cheaply made shoes.

I am not the type to ever leave a “sorry” review, but I couldn’t help but share my frustrating experience may could help someone else avoid this. I seen they had a “Black Friday” deal, so I ordered a pair of shoes on 11/27/23. Tried contacting the company 12/1/23– no such thing as “customer service” none of their numbers listed are even a functioning line. Never got any updates, so I gave up currently just got finished disputing this transaction through my bank. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Don’t fall for it.

Most definitely a very clever fake site with its origin in China. I did however get a cheap $5 necklace in the post from China eventually, I'm guessing becuase watching the painfully slow shipping of it (was provided a tracking number a week or two after the order) on the tracking site would delay any action taken. Avoid 100%

I wish I could do zero stars.. I purchased online and they sent the wrong size. The were helpful in my sending the shoes back, then ignored me completely (3 emails, 3 voicemails) with no exchange or refund. They stole my money. There are dozens of reviews with the same experience. I never leave negative reviews, but I've never experienced such crooked customer service.

Long and expensive postage process now they only operate out of the Netherlands. Returns are awkward and long and you guessed it, expensive. They've also gone with UPS as a courier which manages to 'deliver' its own nightmareish experience. Plenty of other shoes on the market in the UK that you don't have to jump through all these hoops to get. Hopefully etnies set's up shop in the UK again, until then i won't be using their site.

Ordered 3 pairs. Got refunded for one due to supply issues. Been over a week and the other 2 pairs have yet to ship. When reaching out to ask about my order not shipping, they responded with "we have received your rma return reuest." There isn't a return request. Worthless company. Worthless support. Obnoxious experience. Never again. Buyer beware.

I ordered two pairs of shoes size 11 UK on the mobile site, unbeknown to me, their mobile site is actually broken and actually orders in US size. After realising this and reading reviews here I was a bit worried.But, I must say in my experience I have had excellent customer service from Etnies. They apologised about the error with the website, sent me a returns label as the shoes had already been despatched. And they’ve sent the correct size shoes out to me, which are now on the way. I couldn’t fault them at all.I’ve only scored 4 stars because they are aware the website seems to have been broken for quite some time and unfortunately still isn’t fixed.

etniesaustralia.com is a scam website. It looks and works great, until you try and contact them. I made a payment for what I thought was a pair of Etnies shoes but got no confirmation email, so started looking into it. Instead of my payment coming out of my bank account from Etnies it came from an asian looking name with lots of random letters, and for a slightly different amount. Luckily for me when my bank looked into it they refunded my money. Avoid at all costs!!

EU Amsterdam delivery address. I ordered some shoes on April 23rd. i only received a text message confirmation because the website said they were having tech difficulties and their email system wasn't working. I followed up 2 weeks later using their crap automated chat system and they said they had no record of my order. do not order from these people. their website now apologises for it's lack of email and delivery delays as a banner - but how long can it take to fix an email system? seriously! hoping my credit card will refund me. i will never buying from these guys again. worse online shopping experience ever.

etniescasaleEtnies Shoes Canada - Etnies Skate Shoes Sale Online Got scammed by this site. Not even Canadian, thought it was weird I got charged American and was supposedly shipped from America with an Asian name. Never got my shipment and when it said it was delivered it never was.

Purchased from them twice in the last year. First time delivery took so long I had to involve PayPal as the communication was non-existent. Second time, more recently, purchased shoes from the vegan range but when they arrived the label stated they were part-leather. They make it difficult and expensive to send back, and again communication is poor. Won't be purchasing from them again.

Total scam I've not received any shoes after being charged twice, received an email reply saying they have been delivered when they have not been delivered. Never use this website!

How can a company this large justify no free returns?They're a similar company with a similar reputation to the likes of DC shoes, whose returns are free of charge, as they rightly should be. They're based in another country so to think it's OK to make customers pay to return a pair of shoes is absolute ridiculous. Especially when the reason I need to return them is because their "size 12" shoes are about an inch and a half too big. Absolutely disgusting, I expect better from such a reputable name. I for one will never be buying anything from them again.

I love Etnies shoes, but have just been stitched up having to return non-fitting items to the Netherlands. Purchased the size I normally wear, but they were far too big. Unless you introduce a UK returns address, I will not buy direct again.

There is no customer service. Very frustrating experience. I ordered a pair of shoes in the wrong size by mistake, and immediately tried to contact their customer service to switch my order to the correct size. Sent multiple emails without even an acknowledgment of their receipt. Called and left a voicemail to no response. Now it looks like the shoes have been shipped. Terrible experience. Do not bother wasting your time and precious money.

Bought shoes online but they are slightly too big (even though every other size 5 fits me). Have to pay return shipping fees and another set of shipping fees to post out a smaller size. Whilst I love the trainers, I won't buy online again. That's not how you should run an online clothing brand in my opinion,

As other reviews have said. Zero customer service. I too have been trying to return shoes through their lousy website, the only way to return is by contacting them for an RMA. Every email I send bounces back (as others have said) and there is no other means of contacting them. Absolutely disgraceful. Never again.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITELike many other reviews on here, my experience was very similar. They dress the site up as a UK site, when it’s actually based in Holland. When the item arrives and looks nothing like the pictures, you email to arrange a return, to find out that you have to arrange international shipping @ £10 plus to return the item. Just don’t bother. I will never buy another Etnies product again. Customer service seems non existent.

I spent quite a bit of time shopping in their April promotion, got a great deal and paid for it. The next day I got an email saying they had made a pricing error and would be cancelling my order. This is shocking customer service, they took the payment, the order should be binding.As for the review title, it was years ago that I was at school but most kids had Airwalks or something good. The one boy that had some nasty cheap Etnies got bullied for it. Protect your children, don't buy them Etnies.
