I’ve been an Estée Lauder purchaser for many years but I’m very disappointed in their company. I received an offer as a vip and it stated,” Thanks for being a loyal VIP E-Lister. With any $100 purchase, receive two deluxe summer travelers: Ultimate LiftRegenerating Youth Creme and Eye Creme.* when the web site wouldn’t allow me to proceed, I contacted Estée Lauder and their representative stated the order had to total $150 even though the email above states $100. I will be shopping else where for my products and not using Estée Lauder as they are deceptive in their practices.
My sister and I both have Estée Lauder Eye Care Gentle Eye Makeup Remover 100ml and we are not satisfied with the results at all! It doesn't remove the eye makeup smoothly as other brands. The interesting point is that i thought it was only me having bought it from Canada, but my sister has the same problem having bought it from the UK.I have no problems with other Estee lauder products as I am a loyal customer to the brand, however i do not recommend this specific product at all.
I spent over $170 so that I would get a free full size moisturizer in addition to a another free gift for a smaller spend amount. Guess what? The free full size moisturizer was out of stock. Why not send it and fulfill the order when it is in stock. I wouldn't have spent that much in one transaction if not for this promotion. Don't let the order go through if you don't have it. I called to cancel part of the order and the rep said I could return the items. I don't need the hassle.

For the past 12 months I've bought a lot of Estee Lauder products directly as I thought the loyalty scheme looked so good. However, having reached the coveted "level 3" I haven't received any of the benefits, to date. Not a single free sample. When I reached the level where I qualified for a "free full size gift" I couldn't redeem the gift as I was buying something which was "on offer" so it removed itself from my basket. It doesn't seem possible for me to get the free gift, which I've earned though loyalty points. It feels like false advertising.Whilst I appreciate items might be "out of stock" at times, it's unacceptable to have a loyalty scheme which doesn't fulfil it's promises for the entire duration of my membership. It's not a good look and definitely puts me off buying directly from Estee Lauder when I can get the products from other online retailers who fulfil their promises.
I have ordered twice now from esteelauder.com and I have been fooled by a bait and switch tactic both times. They promise a free full sized product when you spend over a very high threshold then they never send the product. I’ve had to call customer service 8 times and they pretend to listen and care then try to send a small sample size instead. Very dishonest.
I visited Boots in Woking, Surrey , today and had excellent customer service from the consultant Patsy Gill. She has worked for Estée Lauder for so many years and I worked with her 25 years ago . She colour matched me with the perfect foundation and as well as that I bought the night repair serum . A lovely experience from a dedicated beauty consultant.
I had a wonderful experience with Estee Lauder , from begining to end . I received a discount code by Email , I went on the website was so easy to use , ordered products for myself and my daughter , received my discount and on top received some wonderful free samples that I cant wait to try. The postage was free and super fast and even arrived on a Saturday ! Great experience , will def use the website again and purchase from it . Personal Data Share and Customer Service You will never expect it from a public company, the customer service that sounds 1000 miles away with barking dogs in the background and does not comprehend English and denies your rights to being serviced if you wont allow them to share your personal information with whoever they want. When calling the 877 number, you will hear the first 3-minute disclaimer on how YOUR collected personal info after this call will be shared if you want to continue this call and get customer service; otherwise, contact them through the dedicated particular website if you disagree. What kind of policy is it that my right not to share my info will result in the denial of my service after purchasing their products? It looks like selling billion-dollar (low-quality) cosmetics is not enough for this money-grabbing company, and investing in simple headphones for customer service to sound clear is not their thing either.
My order was for £100 plus and I had to wait nearly a week for delivery. With so many companies sending next day delivery, Estee Lauder really need to update and fall in line with other companies to get orders out faster for their customers. To my mind this is poor customer service.
Ordered a xmas present within the time frame for before Xmas delivery which firstly isn’t arriving until the 27th now. Second of all I ordered the gift set and up until 21:45 on 22/12/23 all emails stated this was “ordered” “being prepared” then I get an email last night saying they can’t fulfil that part of the order. Poor experience for such a huge company.
Dreadful packaging in the estee lauder youth dew dusting powder, no container just powder in a box cheap cardboard that tears easily I purchased this from boots.com website as a Xmas gift, and when I saw it I was horrified at how cheap and awful the packaging was so I returned it straight away. I could not find an email address for EL so I was messaging some agent with my complaint which was a Complete waste of time. Never again will I buy from Estee Lauder as customer care is non existent.
If I could give zero star, I would. Went on the website and was told if I signed up to them and then entered a particular code I would get 15%off. This I duly did. I was then told I didn't qualify for the discount. I repeated the process three times to make sure I'd followed the instructions but still the same result. This is clearly totally dishonest and misleading information if not downright untrue. I am guessing the company relies on people shrugging and buying the product anyway, even without the discount. I didn't.
My daughter bought me 2 Double Wear gel eye pencils as a present. They break every time I try to sharpen them - I have bought an Este Lauder sharpener. I still can’t sharpen them - the gel just disintegrates. My other eye pencils sharpen no problem. I can’t find any customer services to use. I will never buy Ester Lauder if I get no response from this as I have spent hours trying to sort the problem of these expensive pencils.
So, only looked as I wanted to mention my wife’s experience. I have bought numerous Xmas gifts over the years and was emailed about an offer to spend £30 to get a free gift over January. Bought a mascara which my wife’s explains is watery and does not stick. Contacted service, seemed we got through to the US team who were empathetic, apologised and offered to replace. We then realised we were in the wrong place to went to UK and the response was totally different, no empathy and you will need to return it at your own cost.Literally spent hundreds over the years, so now going to re-think as brand loyalty does not seem to count. A 1.7 overall TP score for a luxury brand is a worry - don’t be complacent Estee.
Absolute disgrace of a mobile website. Goal: order a perfume for my wife, after she told me she loved one of their samples. Step 1, create account, step 2 add perfume in bag. Step 3 select payment method. Step 4: login on the payment website (paypal) complete order. Step 5 return to Estee Lauder page to complete order. Step 6 : repeat step 4 and step 5 ad nauseam. Give me a break, will you... for klarna payment method, you stop at step 3 and then nothing happens. Distasteful for such a big brand. Product not delivered to my house. Contacted Estee Lauder to be told it's no longer there problem once it's picked up by the carrier. They have zero fault. Awful. Really wanted to buy the double wear sheer foundation but the counter staff in john lewis solihull didn't understand basic requests such as, will it suit menopausal skin. Think she found it quite funny when I explained my hot flushes and my concerns about durability throughout the day. Message. I really love this brand, it produces only good products. My must have is definitely double wear foundation, which gives the effect of second skin, one minus is that this foundation is without pump and sometimes I pour too much product, Prices are not average, but I agree to pay more in order to have such fantastic results. I always receive a lot of compliments after using estee lauder cosmetics. I just want to try mascara, but do not know which one to try first.

I opened a brand new box of Estée Lauder pure color envy lash and it was dried up and broken tip of the wand. I called the customer care line which was circling me around and finally spoke with anika who told me it was old and nothing could be done. I know it's not old and now I'm out on my treat if good mascara. I have now switched to Clinique as I was in a pinch away from home without mascara. Disappointed in their attitude to help me get the product I wanted and expected.
