“Horrid service, never delivers, doesn't refund”

They are literally stealing from their customers. I placed orders last spring and after three months of not receiving products and emailing customer service, one of my orders was refunded while the other sat for another month before I was given a notice that their business was undergoing changes and they would not be able to refund so I would have to dispute the charge with my bank. After doing so, I noticed a bunch of emails indicating that they were back on track and selling items again. So I placed a new order. Two weeks in and I still just have a "confirmed" status. If you do not have the products in stock- don't list them for sale. Let people know that it is sold out or back ordered and give them the option to place a back order. I was hoping this business had been fixed because I really love their products but they are now costing me and my business money. Either get it together and ship in a timely manner or gracefully remove yourself from the industry. At this point- your business practices are predatory at best. “Essential Labs has turned out to be one of the WORSE businesses I've ever dealt with.”

I started buying from what was then Essential Wholesale around 15 years ago. They use to be a great company to work with but now I give them a ZERO out of 5 stars. They don't even deserve the 1 star but zero stars didn't exist. They are going downhill fast. Whenever I called to ask for a time frame to receive the Muscle Gel they were clueless. Now they are giving a time frame, 12 long weeks. Don't know how businesses can survive waiting that long. Maybe they're hoping people will start buying in HUGE quantities so they don't have to worry about waiting so long. I have no idea how Essential Labs stays open but I know I'll never give them any more of my hard earned dollars. Tip for consumers:The worse company ever to do business with. “Poor Customer Service”

I have been purchasing on and off from this company for the past 4 years. The one product that I bought from them, was very expensive, and I noticed that it started to dry out, even when keeping it sealed. Since I had incorporated that particular ingredient in my formula, I went ahead and ordered another bottle, and noticed within a few months of keeping it stored and sealed, it had dried out as well (most likely from the same big batch), rendering the product useless and not effective for its purpose. After having contacted the company, they asked for proof. I sent them images of both the bottles and time I purchased them. I requested for the last bottle which was barely used to be replaced, and since then have contacted them 2 more times, and got absolutely no response. So disappointed and the lack of customer service, its like they want you not to do business with them and look elsewhere.

“Poor quality control”

We've had a big problem with with two of their cream bases. The PH level was way off. We contacted them and their quality control manager said the acceptable range was between 4.2 and 5.8. Basically that means they don't care what the PH level is for products they ship. That's very problematic.

“Poor customer service”

Wouldn't honor a coupon code less than 24 hrs after order was placed because it had shipped already. Wouldn't apply a credit to account even though have been loyal customer for years. Very disappointed.

“A reliable supplier for niche natural/organic ingredients.”

Natural ingredients can be hard to source myself for my skincare business. They have a massive selection of ingredients that are really hard to find with a limited budget. I also like how they audit their suppliers for sustainability and fair trade practices. For instance, Argan Oil is an ingredient I shy away from using because most Argan Oil production isn't sustainable (resource stripping), but essential tracked down a Moroccan supplier that uses solar energy, local farmers, and doesn't use pesiticide... I don't have enough time to track down these suppliers myself. Thanks Essential.

“This company has cost me so much money”

This company has cost me so much money. I invested in labels, bottles, etc. The lotion we have always ordered now comes runny and gooey. It is not good enough to give away. Now I have to throw all my custom labels away, and I have wasted too much money on lotions that are not usable.

“CHANGE IN OWNERSHIP?”

I have purchased cream bases & other items from this site. I believe they changed ownership. I had purchased some vitamin C for facial serums and it won't dissolve (I've been making the serum for 6 years). They won't refund or let me return the item.They also have added some negative ingredients such as polysorbates. I won't be buying from them again. Products used:Vitamin C & face cream bases. “Don't dare to buy”

They charge you ups des when you order PLUS ups charges you more fees! My package has been held at customs since January 4th. The manger responded only two weeks after WITH THIS message: Hello Stephanie, Shawn is out of the office today. The only way to have your order released, if it isnt too late, is for you to contact customs and make arrangements to pay your custom/brokerage fees. There is nothing that we can do for you on this matter. UPS has more than likely been trying to contact you. This is your responsibility, not ours. I couldn't believe the last sentence. PLUS they DONT have a confirmation that ups tried to contact me therefore accusing me of being in the wrong! I'm a manager in customer service and I'm beyond disgusted. I buy a lot of natural skincare ingredients NEVER from there. Voyageur soap is excellent as well as saffire blue and new directions Ps I still do not have my package.

“A huge business risk”

This company is a great business risk that you must think twice about taking. They don't deal objectively with businesses. Instead they employ unnecessary sentiments and personal biases in business relationships. After 4 years of doing business with them, they sent me a letter terminating my business relationship with them. They cited a "disrespectful attitude" in my communication with them over a period of 4 years. I was perplexed a company could conduct itself in this manner. My private label arrangement has had me invest a lot of money in labels, advertisements and more. This is all wasted because the company is run by unprofessional people. My advice: you better make sure you are happy with everything they do. This includes: grave manufacturing mistakes, refunds taking months, miscommunication, condescending tone of some account managers, delays in communication, the list is endless but you better be happy and thankful for all this because if you complain due to being upset, they'll keep noting it down. The last straw will be if they have to pay for any of their mistakes, you can kiss your investments goodbye because they are so vindictive. They don't accept the consequences of their mistakes in good faith. They will enact "business revenge" if there's anything like that. I never knew a company thought like this and I have been in several business endeavors my entire life. NEVER had these kinds of issues with any company at all. They sent me a termination letter, imagine what they send their employees. The nerve. This was after they sent me unsealed products. After waiting several months for a private label order, they sent the goods in unsealed jars. We had shipped some not knowing. I kept trying to get in touch with them and was given the run around till the next day. So upsetting but I thought the issue was resolved after they chose to refund me. They sent the letter when I was about to place a new order. Once money comes out of their pocket, your disrespect will have gone too far. Leave this company to their woeful management. Find a company run by objective and sensible people so your business interest is well secured.
