Is enginediy.com Legit?

I purchased an engine demonstration unit from them showing each and every stroke of a combustion engine. Product came in a little over a week and it was exactly as advertised. Will definitely purchase from them again. Item gave a great visual demonstration to college students becoming pilots.

What a beautiful, working model of a cutaway fanjet engine. Easy to assemble (only 50 parts). High quality, perfect parts fit. Attractively pre-colored. Motorized and red-lighted exhaust, activated by a throttle on the base/stand. One of the nicest kits of this type I have ever seen.

DIY Engine kit was great fun to build and test. Instructions are clear and packing and delivery was excellent. The 4 stroke 2 cylinder started in the first test itsellf without issues. The service team also respond quickly to clear any questions you have.

I ordered my CISON OHV V8 along with the radiator , tachometer, mount base, motor mount, and engine accessory package.This was my first purchase from Enginediy and I’m very pleased with the quality of their products and the level of their customer care. All the parts in my engine kit were carefully packed, and when my engine was shipped it came 2 days early.I am so impressed with their service and their quality of their products, I will certainly be purchasing many other products they sell from time to time in the future.

I was pleasantly surprised by the finish of all the parts. More so by tiny ball bearings. Need to read double check instructions. Classic RTFI. Else go back undo, do again according to picture. Very free running with careful assembly. As much a display piece as working model. Note flywheel already has grub screw installed. Model even turned over on blowing into boiler. This the beam engine. Very happy. Only just enough screws:-)

On 26 Dec 2023 I ordered Stirling Engine Model with Electricity Generator and Bluetooth Singing Tesla Coil in beautiful blue color. After 12 days, I recieve good protected package, with no damage, delivered direct to Switzerland. Perfect toy, no only for kids but also for engineers, like me :) , works perfect as described. I've made several orders from them and always got what I ordered. One expensive item (<$1K) arrived with some inexpensive parts missing. I provided them with the prod #, missing parts#, part description, & photos from their assembly manual. Many emails were exchanged. Still, the service tech was unable to correctly identify the part. He guessed at it and twice sent me the wrong parts and then gave up. When I wrote a negative review, they pulled it off their site.

Cison fuel barrelI ordered 3 off these as a fuel cell for 3 model engines didn't really know if the idea would work,I got my delivery within time had plenty off communication with enginediy,and was pleasantly surprised wit the quality well made,proper usefull small barrels not just for oil or fuel,but for any liquid seeing there metal,had no leaks,dents got a screw top filler.....👏

I recently purchased a very new model. Understandably, there have been a couple of production bugs, causing me to email EngineDIY to ask for replacement parts. They were sent to me without complaint as soon as they could source them. You are safe with EngineDIY. Recommended!

Fantastic! This is the 4th project I've purchased from EngineDIY and I have enjoyed each and everyone. The Rotary 5 Cylinder, the Fighter Jet Engine, the V8 Flat Plane Crankshaft Engine and now the Turbofan Jet Engine. This particular model project is made from all metal parts with precision fitment and provides 20+ hours of assembly enjoyment. All of these projects are in lighted displays in my home and are enjoyed by friends and family. Especially noteworthy is all these models "run" by rechargable battery. Watching pistons, gears, propellers and machine parts move is awesome! I've been purchasing from this outfit for 4 years and look forward to future kits.

Have been in contact with the guys at enginediy regarding a shipment from them. The model engine was not only sent quickly and received within a few days, but the quality of the kit was outstanding. I didn't know what to expect with this sort of kit, but I really am not disappointed. My communication with them afterwards has always resulted in swift and very friendly replies. I would have no hesitation in dealing with them again. I definitely recommend them.

Ordered a 3D Printed Tourbillon Clock Movement from EngineDIY. Item arrived without the assembly instructions. Emailed them but did not get a reply. I am expected to know how to assemble everything from scratch without any instruction sheet. Buy at your own risk.

Toyan V800 baseBuilt the base with the additional parts of 3 ea, motor starter modules to make switching loads for a start enable (whole unit power), glow plug power(power to the 2 plug units), and the motor starter (self explanatory).I also added a second start button switch for safety to help prevent a stuck starter button sw from burning up the starter motor. So functionally. You have to press both start switches to crank the motor. I soldered all connections and used heat shrink to insulate the connections. All the electrics are installed inside the base. I did relocate the mounting of the motor to my preference. I’m still waiting on a replacement black fuel tank, or the glass for one end of my tank as it came with a cracked glass on one end.

Ordered a Hydrogen Generator from this company and it arrived damaged. It's been a month and I've sent multiple emails with photos of the damage. Each time I get the same reply. EngineDIY will send out a replacement unit asap.Never received replacement item or a tracking number.

I ordered a little air cooled petrol hit and miss Oddball engine. Received my order very soon end very well packed. The M96 Mini Horizontal Air-Cooled Single-Cylinder 4-Stroke Oddball Hit and Miss Gas Engine runs very good right out of the box.I’m a very happy customer!

They are all over you when they smell a sale, but when there is a problem, nobody helps you. They are just resellers of products, and their English is atrocious. Truthfully, bad reviews are deleted. I'm still waiting for parts from over a year ago. Stay away from this place. Go to Sterlingkit, Unlike these people, they actually answer your emails and concerns. Here, you only lose money!

Kit arrived damaged, no responses from their contact emails, paid an additional $10 for shipping insurance on a kit total of $185.00. Had to escalate via pay-pal and enginediy offered a $10 refund! Now they want the kit returned at my expense to China, evenm though there was insurance purchased seperately. I will never buy from them again, there is zero customer support.
