Is elkjop.no Legit?

Absolutely awful service from "emilpl" in the computer department. I arrived right when the store opened and there was no one in the department. After 10 min of wandering looking for someone to help me, he finally appeared. He then proceeded to sell me the wrong charger for my laptop, without even bothering to verify compatibility. Since one ought to be able to trust someone working with computer sales to know what they are doing, and because I had a deadline and was in a huge rush, I didn't check either. Upon returning home, I discovered EMILPL had sold me the wrong charger and had to travel all the way back to the store, costing me another hour of wasted time. When confronted about his error, he refused to apologize and even threatened to call security when I became a bit upset about his lack of professionalism and understanding. When I asked for his name so I could file a complaint with his manager, he refused to tell me and advised me to check the receipt for the wrong charger he sold me! He then told me to go queue up in another long line, rather than handling the return himself, costing me still more time. I was in tears by the time I actually received help. I found EMILPL's behavior incredibly provocative. It showed an utter lack of respect for the customers he is supposed to serve. I have been a loyal Elkjøp customer for over 10 years, using the store for all my business's computer-related needs. I will never be back.

Awful service. We ordered a kitchen fan by Bosh, which was supposed to be exclusive. It came in a smashed box with a very unhelpful driver, and the installationpeople could not install it well due to insufficient tools. Then after all this service the fan broke. We have been now waiting for 6 days for Elksjop to get us a new fan ( we paid delivery, installation and insurance!!!) and they just send apologies that the people responsible do not answer. We are unable to cook for 6v days. Worst customer service ever !

they are the worst they scam me the second time. first a few years ago with my gaminglaptop what is on fire while i play. it was in the first few months in service... then they said its totally normal and 'its covid so we wont take back since u bought it from the store not online'. and now again with galaxy s24 i ordered online and they wont take back phones.... what says on the receipt but i didnt see it coz it came by email while i picked it up from klikk og hent and the guy opened the box to put on the screenprotection🤨

I do not recommend shopping in Elkjop! They sell things that they cannot deliver on time and provide false delivery dates at the time of purchase. The next day after the purchase, they send an SMS that they are changing the delivery for e.g. 5 days later, and another SMS about the next time in 5 days. This has happened to me 3 times when I bought from them. This time I bought a dishwasher, which I really need because of a large multi-day event and I was left without any equipment ( order 2112589647).

Definitely the worst coatumer service and i wont buy anything from there anymore.i recently boughtba phone from there and i had an issues with the charging part so i went to check on it and the bold guy working in centrum at Karl Johan i dont know his name start calling me with bro this you should fix yourself.so unprofessional

Bought a horrible quality kitchen here, I know it’s a differnate company but their service after having an amazingly bad bad kitchen was also amazingly horrible. Doooo nottttt do not get a kitchen from elkjøp even if they give it to u for free!!!

I bought Marshall Kilburn 2 without the original packaging. But I shrieked back. Because it didn't work with the battery. I bought another one. It's the same, it doesn't work with the battery. The specifications indicate the battery life of up to 20 hours. I opened it. And what do you think??? It does not have a battery!!!! There is a place for her. There is a connector. Zound Industries' description of Kilburn 2 does not contain information about the model without a battery. Be careful when buying is Elkjøp without the original packaging.

Spending hours on research, when trying to pay, site won't let me pay, I can't order more than one product. Site tells me to reduce number of products in my basket. WTheF, only in norway.

Not recomeded to buy on this elkjøp . they never give value for there customer .. I just buy or bougt microwave and pay at the same time . and they want to pict up rigth way which very forsing me to drive . ..! which is im still on work and i live far away.. they sake bad wuality senze microwave rusty inside.n

Did the mistake to buy some appliances because of the sales. The order for split into two deliveries without being informed with the result of asking people a favour to stay in my place all evening to wait for the deliveries and leaving work twice. The second delivery got postponed for next week. The person on the phone ironically said " at least you got your freezer " and hang up on me . The second delivery arrived with broken boxes and destroyed products.i ordered a plumber from elkjop to install the washing machine. The pipes of my washing machine where not long enough so for a week I have been trying to ask elkjop to inform the plumber about it. They didn't and the plumber of course came for 5 minutes telling me the obvious. Elkjop sent me a delayed email with a list of pipes that I need to buy ( which they don't have in stock or sell after all). I'm still waiting for this to be resolved. Considering returning the machine with -1700 kr for the plumber. Employees on the phone and delivery guys were polite and helpful. Clearly an elkjop policy / strategy failure

They sold me a defective robotic vacuum cleaner, they won't replace it nor refund. Only explanation "it's their policy". I used it for a month and I have to wait at least half that time to have it patched so it can break again. Total weight 20Kg and I had to bring it to them by hand. Not even a pick up service. You get all the risk buying from them, there are better alternatives online.

Bought an item online which were in stock. 2 days later received Vipps notification that money has been paid back. Received no email no sms from elkjøp that my purchase has been cancelled which is very poor customer service. 2 stars as money was returned fast.

I have ordered a kitchen appliance but it was not delivered on a set time and then reschedule again but still didn't deliver as they don't know where is the package. I also see when calling customer service, they behave very unprofessionally (not always but 40%) they just cut the phone without answering the question. They should record the call to see how customer service person response to the customer.

Terrible service experienceI gave my iPhone 12 to service to get fixed because my phone stopped charging. When we arrived at the store, the worker used 1 hour and 30 minutes just to figure out if my phone truly did not work. After they figured out that it was infact not charging, my phone was sent to service, which took like 3 weeks. Again, this is not the issue. When we returned to get my phone they said that they had found nothing wrong with it and to make things worse the workers did not make a note of the fact that they tested my phone at the shop. Since service found nothing wrong with the phone, we had to pay 400kr for service, which did not even find any mistakes. In addition to all of this, they took off my protection screen and did not return it. So not only did I have to pay 400kr for nothing, I also lost money because I needed to buy a new protection screen. Terrible experience, very disappointed.

All my previous experience with elkjop was super fine until yesterday I bought PC „outlet vare” and paid for it , then i got message that its not longer avaliable but they gonna return me my money so i try to buy same PC from different elkjop but then i have noticed that its gonna take up to 10 days to have money back on my account and for me this is unfair because i dont have the product i bought and either i dont have MY money which i have paid straight awayIm just dissapointed

Had the WORST experience in this Elkjop (Fredrikstad) shop after living so many years in Norway. We were just trying to buy a gift for a mom, but the moment we walked in to the shop, one of the workers started staring at us. We were just browsing through stuff to buy, but the workers was just following us around the whole shop. We stopped to look at phones, since we decided to buy one, but a security guy came out of nowhere and was staring at us, following us and checking the items after we looked at them. So we decided to just leave, but the same security guy followed us to the exit, stopped us and asked us to show our backpacks. His reasoning was that our backpacks looked empty and that's suspicious (it makes no sense). It was definitely discrimination from the beginning, since we were talking to each other in our native language. We felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome the whole time, they made us feel like and look like criminals for just being there...😓Hadde den VERSTE opplevelsen i denne Elkjop (Fredrikstad) butikken etter å ha bodd så mange år i Norge. Vi prøvde bare å kjøpe en gave til en mor, men i det øyeblikket vi gikk inn til butikken begynte en av arbeiderne å stirre på oss. Vi bladde bare gjennom ting å kjøpe, men arbeiderne fulgte oss bare rundt i hele butikken. Vi stoppet for å se på telefoner, siden vi bestemte oss for å kjøpe en, men en sikkerhetsmann plutselig kom bak oss og stirret på oss, fulgte oss og sjekket varene etter at vi så på dem. Så vi bestemte oss for å bare gå, men den samme sikkerhetsmannen fulgte oss til utgangen, stoppet oss og ba oss vise ryggsekkene våre. Begrunnelsen hans var at ryggsekkene våre så tomme ut og det er mistenkelig (det gir ingen mening). Det var definitivt diskriminering fra begynnelsen, siden vi snakket med hverandre på vårt morsmål. Vi følte oss ekstremt ukomfortable og uvelkomne hele tiden, de fikk oss til å føle oss som og se ut som kriminelle for bare å være der...😓
