Is elgiganten.se Legit?

"Absolutely appalled by Elgiganten's online customer service. I strongly advise against ordering anything online from them. Delivery dates are completely inaccurate—my order is now 2 weeks late. When I contacted customer service for help, there was no apology, and they even hung up on me! If you're planning on buying Christmas gifts, steer clear of shopping online with Elgiganten."

Elgiganten delivery dates are in accurate, rhey tell you they will deliver between 8-17 and no exact time ,does it mean i will sit at home all day and not go to work just for them to call and say we are at your house in 5 min when i am working 45min away, and there is no way you can track their delivery, paid so much money for this service ,i am disgusted

0 star also is more. I don't know how they are dealing here so long. Idiots in the counter i went for a price match a super rude guy at partille 17:20.. Non sense really upset was a customer for elgiganten not any more. The product was available for price match but due to i competency the guy said no. Not done

Idk why people are complaining about customer service here. Was buying things there 3 times and everything was okay. I just think their assortment is a bit small but otherwise ok, cheaper than others shops

Elgiganten has staff that don't speak the language properly, don't have enough knowledge about the product, and behave like car dealers who want to sell the most expensive products to people that don't even need it. I saw once an old couple looking for a regular tv, the salesman took them to the most expensive 83" Oled and said that this would be the best option for them. I told the couple that they should ignore that offer and find a normal 65" oled for around 15k. Elgiganten got worse over the years, unfortunately. Their website was the worst of all, but I see now that the website got better, more responsive. Good job, that's why I give 2 stars instead of 1.But much better is to be expected from Elgiganten than this.

I made an online order and chose to collect it myself at Gallerian. Got a message said that something was wrong with the inventory and they tried to call. They canceled the order because I didn’t pick up my phone. There was no call from them. I had my phone in my hand because I was waiting for their sms so I could go collect my order. Nice job.

HiNever order any product online Elgiganten. They will just take money for all and never deliver anything.Customer care just moving you to next customer services. Problem remains same without solution. Do not waist time at online and then wait or wait and loss money.Thanks & Regards

Ordered a rice cooker and picked up in store traveling 1 hour away. After reaching home and unpacking felt its already a used piece. Anyway tried to cook and water split out from steam vent. Cleaned and Packed it for return immediately as they agreed to try and return if i didn't like in 30 days from purchasedate. Shock came when I approached for return. They say smelling like used and so they won't take return. They are trained to find all funny creative reasons to reject taking returns. Instead they could change their policy as no returns allowed. Never buy from this company as it's purely a sink hole.

LG 65 CS 4K Oled TV 2022problem with Webos and after 1 month with wifi problem with Elgiganten costumerserviseI buy this tv one month ago and have problem with webos , when i start watch film webos crash and i have masege onscreen need restart and that happened every 15 minutes ( i clean web memory and have las OS ) it not help , one month later start problem with wifi every time i need input password when i start tv ( not recognize network ) i was in shop Elgiganten but personal there cant help (John Öhberg ) its not professional anyway if someone want this tv better dont buy in Elgiganten !!!!! Not recomendet costumer service its terrible and elgiganten erase my feedback !!!!!!!!! Dont trust that company

10 days passed and still not delivered the order. Thats how bad its with Elgiganten.seeing all those bad reviews now it make sense.Lesson learned avoid buying from this company at all costs.

Bought all my kitchen equipment there, so many iPhones, AirPods, Sonos, severals TV, coffe machine and stuff I probably forgot I did. Then yesterday bought some AirPods and yes I forgot to mention I wanted them with wireless case and you refused to change them because the packaging was opened. Wasn’t really my fault, wasn’t really sellers fault. Lack of communication but you know what you could have done something and today you have lost me forever. I will not forget this.

Dålig upplevelse! de senaste två gångerna jag köper saker från denna leverantör! En order annullerad av säljaren på grund av brist på varor deras butik!! För det andra köpet, dålig feedback om beställningens framsteg och oklar information från kundsupporten och oförmåga att avbryta beställningen även om varorna inte lämnade deras lager!! Att kontakta kundsupporten är hopplöst!! ... Att köpa saker på eBay är mycket mer konsekvent och förtroendevärdigt faktiskt :)

I like this company as their staff members are extremely friendly and helpful if you have any issues they are also very knowledgeable and can process refunds fast and efficiently. I recommend this company if you want to buy tech products and they usually have quite a lot of discounts so you can usually get them for quite cheaper compared to a lot cheaper than their competitor’s.

My recent purchase of a mobile device turned into a frustrating experience after 55 days when it suddenly became unresponsive and needed to be sent off for repairs. To my disappointment, the repair took 3 weeks to complete, only to find out that the same issue persisted and the device had to be returned for further examination. It has been claimed that the device, which is rated IP68 waterproof, has now suffered water damage as a result of service and product manipulation and I need to pay for the cost of repair.

I recently visited Elgiganten at Burlöv Center to purchase a Chromecast. The salesman seemed unusually interested in my mobile and internet service providers. He proceeded with a 20-minute pitch about Tele-2, emphasizing the savings I could achieve by switching to them, repeatedly pointing to the price on his screen.Towards the end of the pitch, he displayed a QR code and asked me to sign with BankID. When leaving, I found it odd that he didn’t provide any receipts; I assumed it was because everything is digital nowadays.However, once I got home, I discovered that he had signed me up for a significantly more expensive subscription with Telenor instead of the cheaper Tele-2 plan he had been promoting. Additionally, he used a random email address instead of mine (to prevent me from receiving any receipts or notifications??).When I went back to confront him, he was evasive. He claimed that the Tele-2 option "didn't work" but couldn't explain why he signed me up for Telenor or why he failed to mention the much higher cost.Be extremely cautious when dealing with Elgiganten. Always double-check what you’re signing up for and ask them to print out the entire deal before signing with BankID.

I ordered a TV by Elgiganten, and the next day I got an email that my order was cancelled. I called customer service twice and in both times the agent didn't actually know the reason for it. I guess it's my bad I didn't read the reviews before ordering.

VERY VERY Bad service,I have bought a laptop in Sweden but now it doesn't not work! they have obligated me to bring the device in Sweden even if I live in Italy now. So I have shipped my device from Italy to Sweden for a repair, paying by myself all the expense (120€). The device after repair by Elcare Nordic presents the same identical problem(even though they have written motherboard changed) wow so strange the laptop does not works (display black)... after some days, phone calls I brought the device to a support depot Lenovo in Italy and SURPRISE, the problem was ONLY the card wifi and not the MB. Now the elgiganten does not take any responsibility and doesn't want to give my money back! They have damaged me economically and psychologically! they wrote me: Unfortunately, we cannot cover the shipping costs that you need to pay to send it to Sweden. Still now the Elcare Nordic does not give me an answer!!

I am not going again to this place and the reason is not the store but the parking outside in Kolding. Instead of spending my money to the store I spent them to a parking fine because i didn't know that it was a privat parking! This is crazy ! Europark and all the private parkings in Denmark is like MAFIA. I gave them proofs that it was a wrong fine and instead of erase it they raised the fine from 875dkk to 1075dkk! If you want people to enjoy shopping and continue to shop to your shop stop this stupid thing with private parkings outside of big stores.

We ordered an induction oven online in May 2023 for delivery 8th June. Late on 8th June we were told by customer service that it might be delivered 9th June. It didn't arrive either date - we then reorganised for 20th July - we were out of the country so arranged that date. We rang three times during that week to confirm it would arrive on 20th July - it never arrived. We got conflicting reasons from the transporters and customer service. We rearranged delivery for 27th July and rang on 26th to confirm that it would arrive. Late in afternoon when it hadn't been delivered, we rang to be told it would not arrive on 27th and they didn't know when it would arrive. This is the poorest customer service we have ever experienced and we would not recommend Elgiganten to anybody.

Had this particular experience in Elgiganten Nordstan in Goteborg.Very satisfied with the staff's approach towards customer and problem-solving. Very polite and respectful.On the other hand, 4/5 stars for a bad experience with online support, even though I solved the problem (but with a lot of stress before).
