Is eikenshop.com Legit?

I bought an Are backpack some time ago and only recently started using it. After two weeks of use, one of the shoulder straps broke. After I asked customer service for a repair option, they sent me a new rucksack straight away at no extra cost. This is exceptional customer service that I have not experienced with so many companies! The rucksack itself looks great and the inside is well made. I am really looking forward to using my new rucksack!

I currently have the Calgary backpack and it has been amazing - definitely the best bag I have ever bought. It is extremely well made and durable, and also looks amazing - from my experience this is hard to find. I have had a lot of compliments from friends about this bag and I always point them to the Eiken shop. I'd recommend this bag to anyone, and all of their other bags look amazing too - I can't wait to buy another

My son found this company when he couldn't find the perfect bag he was searching for in Australia. He wanted an old school, made to last bag with character, a classic, and he found exactly that with Eiken! Not only is the bag exactly as we hoped, well made, sturdy, a complete "looker" but the customer service has been excellent. I made a mistake with our order and Clemence moved mountains to get us the correct one here in Australia for a very special birthday milestone. If you want a classic bag that will never go out of style, this is the company!

I received the bag quite early (I live in France), with several layers of plastic to protect it. The colour (i chose the grey one) turned out more greenish than i expected but still OK. I love the amount of pockets and the bag isn't that heavy.However, please note that the closing mechanism (the straps with buckles) are actually closed by magnets and the said buckles are just a decoration - closes well but not as safe. Overall, i would recommend those bags but take note for those buckles - a friend of mine who chose a different bag had the same issue.

I bought one of the backpacks for almost 100 pounds. After few weeks, metal parts started to corrode and gradually every metal part will needs changing within a year or so. Also zips stopped working after a month or two. You can return your backpack only within 2 weeks after purchase, so I suppose I should have known that it is not reliable for longer periods - thus 2 week warranty period.

They advertise themselves as a site where you can find Refined & Vintage Products made of Noble & Sturdy Materials but the truth is the Backpacks are all made in China, we know what people's working conditions are in China. So I think it is not such a noble company

Eiken surprised me very positively. Found by chance through an internet advertisement, Eiken has turned out to be a manufacturer of extremely high-quality and stylish backpacks. The backpacks are super well-made and beautiful. But even better than the backpacks is the service. If you have any questions, they answer your e-mails quickly, competently and in a friendly manner, and if something should break in the almost indestructible (because there are hardly any zips etc.) backpacks, you can get a replacement just as easily. Therefore, I can only recommend Eiken.

I'd been trawling around the internet for some time, trying to find a quality rucksack with some rustic and urban charm and then I found Eiken. Great bags! I purchased two, a rucksack and a Tote bag. Their unique email response to my purchase and my retail experience was very satisfactory. i was pleasantly surprised how genuine and polite they were and helpful. I guess that might sound weird but it was so unlike the usual generic emails normally received when purchasing. It was a nice touch and I hope they keep that intent. Delivery time was as expected and I am very happy with my purchase. I look forward to purchasing from them again...

We just received two QAANAQ duffel bags. The bags are beautiful and well crafted. The purchase was followed up by easy to understand care instructions. The support team is also incredibly helpful and very responsive. I look forward to many great years of travel!

Excellent backpack with plenty of room. Comfortable to carry even with heavier contents. Material is great and sustains nordic weather.One star off because of the magnetic straps popping open when the backpack is "too full". The zipper makes this problem more of an aesthetic one though.

Bought a bag recently from EIKEN. It is absolutely beautiful - high quality materials and well made. Definitely worth the investment as this bag feels like it would last years!Customer service is excellent and all questions were answered quickly. Might have to buy another bag 😍

I can only report my positive experiences with EIkenshop. They have a fantastic website which makes it easy to find products. They always update the inventory levels so you would not end up with a cancelled order. They ship out orders lightning-fast. Finally, when it comes to the product quality, well, you cannot find better.Just an update: I ordered another nice product from them. Again, my order arrived at least 2 days earlier than I expected. Also, I made some suggestions about new products and accessories and they were clearly open take my ideas on board. This is a great company with customer service and fantastic quality products. I can only recommend them.

Delighted with my Eiken bag. I love travelling, but I'm not a fan of nylon backpacks. What's great about this is that I can just as easily take it on a weekend in London or Paris, or a trip to the Outer Hebrides.It conforms with a lot of airlines draconian rules so I won't have to check luggage, but is spacious enough for a trip if you like traveling light, and has lots of extra pockets for valuables or your toothbrush.Costumer service is also great.Thank you Eiken, I'm ready for my next adventure!

Very satisfied with my purchase from EIKEN. Decent quality backpack. The package got lost during transport but the people from Eiken and GLS were friendly and helpful. Package was eventually found and received without damage. It took a while before I received my order. But sometimes patience is key. I am a satisfied customer.

Bag arrived and is excellent quality - the waxed cotton being very sturdy. I hadn't expected the bag to be lined and with various pockets inside so that is a bonus. On my bag the main, heavy-duty metal zip failed on the first day. Obviously a manufacturing fault and the sort of thing that it going to happen one day to all manufacturers. I contacted Eiken by email and within a few minutes got a reply and the situation was resolved and a replacement sent. I always believe that being perfect is impossible, but it's how you react when something (inevitably) goes wrong that makes the difference. For that top marks for Eiken.

Not only am I absolutely delighted with the Copenhagen bags I received, but I would also like to congratulate the after-sales service staff who were exceptional in helping me to get the bag of my dreams for my partner's birthday present.I can't wait to go hiking with him and our two matching Eiken bags!

Great and Responsible Company, Excellent Customer Service.I lost this summer my previous and long kept travel bag and was looking for a suitable replacement for my next trip.A friend of mine showed me Eikenshop and i was enthralled by the Kaori duffle bag, which seemed to perfectly fit my expectations. I was a little bit worried by some negative comments here but after having read the "about us" section I contacted the owner and he was very helpful and accommodating.I have been using the bag for a week now and it's beautiful, practical, and well-made !! A beautifully made, perfectly detailed, sturdy, wonderful bag! I purchased another bag from Eiken a while ago and based on that one being of incredible quality, I thought another was in order. After receiving it I was incredibly pleased with the quality, the design, the details, the handles, the pockets - in short, everything about it! Cannot recommend more highly.

A brilliant backpack! I bought my Lund bag back in October and now use it every day on my commute and for weekend adventures too. It's incredibly practical with a laptop compartment and lots of pockets. It feels secure and it looks great too! The material is really good quality and I've also received an email that details how to care for waxed canvas bags... (this was really helpful - thank you Eiken!). Initially I was worried about the price tag but I'm so glad that I bought one - the quality is worth it, I know I won't have to buy another rucksack anytime soon.I would thoroughly recommend these bags to all budding adventurers.
