I spent a lot of money on an Ecovac Deebot X2 Omni which I now regret, My problems seem common and I wish I had done more research before buying this brand. Not working out of the box brand new, cannot map my house cannot avoid obstacles, can not find the station standing next to the home station. Please don’t waste your money. Sending back for the refund.
We spent a lot of money on an Ecovac Deebot X1 Omni which I now regret, our problems seem common and I wish I had done more research before buying this brand. Our water pump in the station stopped working within a year, many people on the internet seem to speak about this same issue. We sent it back for repair, came back not working... Sent it back again, came back with damaged panels on the station. They cant even get the courier pickup right, I've been told 4 times to be ready for a collection and nobody's arrived while my bot's been in a box waiting for over 2 weeks.
Early days as got a Goat G1 very recently but the app is a little poorly thought out. There is a help and feedback section that takes you to the FAQs as normal and a link to live help, but outside of their live help times it suggests you leave a question in feedback. There is no link or other way of sending feedback that I could find.
I purchased the omni and once they had me I have had poor service . A power cable took 9 months to arrive . Now my unit needs repair and they don't know how long it will take three weeks counting.It's not cheap but I wouldn't buy again from them they never returned my complaint request for someone to call me
N8 robot vacuum.Never worked right, buggy and then just died. Waste of money, no support, bad company.
Bought in error - cancelled - never saw my money backI purchased the Omni X2 in error and called and emailed to cancel within 5 minutes. I was told I'd get a refund but instead they sent the vacuum. So I refused the delivery. They asked me to chase DPD to ensure it gets sent back. I have tracking to say it's going back but nonetheless they are refusing to refund me, have closed my enquiry, told me it's another team that deals with it, told me I can keep the vacuum and they can "help me apply for a 10% discount". What a joke!!!!! Thieves!!!!! I cancelled the order and do not have the vacuum and I'm still nearly £1000 put of pocket. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!! WILL REGRET FOREVER
I've had the X1 for a few years. The entire system is issue ridden. The app, the battery dies before it returns to station, loses mapping, get confused and lost, poor mopping quality, having to continually reconnect it. It constantly needs messing with. I've spent hours dorking with this piece of overpriced garbage, not to mention all the cleaning solution it has wasted pretty much every time I reset it in hopes of it getting it to work properly... which is rarely. I estimate it works properly, without having to mess with it, about 15-25% of the time. Half of the time I give up and mop my floors by hand.
Disgusting service. Just purchased an Ecovacs Goat 1 robot mower and garage. Require a beacon as then it will mow all the lawn. I have been told by Customer Services that they have none and will be in at the end of September. I said this was out of order and the reply was "yeah it's a pity". Who says that! So I have spent a lot of money on a mower and garage that I can not use - and it's a pity!!!!It's being returned, I should have looked at these review before purchasing - Do not deserve to be a company running. Look after your customers! They will then look after you.
Purchased the T9 Deebot from Ecovacs in June 2022. It was great for the first 6 months. Then the issues started. Lost suction and had to be sent back to ecovacs which took 2 months to fix. Then it would constantly turn around in circles and repeatedly clean the same area over and over again. The next issue was the auto-emptying recharging dock which conveniently died just before warranty was up. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON EVOVACS!!
Awful products don't last ours is lightly used but can't even keeps its brushes attached any more.App perpetually bombs you with promotions and even some times unskippable videos before you can use your own vacuum cleaner.
Deboot N8+ did amazing cleaning job while it was working. We purchased ours in 2023 and used it for 4 months. We were in a moving transition for 8 months and had it stored in a climate controlled unit. Finally got moved into our new home 3 months ago. (Which is smaller square footage).Last 2 weeks we started experiencing issues weird docking location messages and battery not holding a charge (even though it said fully charged). Would return before finishing cleaning house.We’ve tried everything (deleting app, turning off and unplugging for a few hours, checking positioning of unit on docking station, checked outlet, checked contacts, and replacing battery). I am diligent about keeping filters, dust bin, and bag changed.Nothing has solved the issue.Sent ECOVACSHOME support very detailed email about what our issue is and everything we’ve tried to do to resolve and asking for further assistance.Their response suggested to do everything we had told them we had already tried.They then went on to suggest that because warranty had already passed that I would need to seek repair service or to upgrade to a new unit!I looked on line and it seems others are experiencing same issues with unit and poor customer service.Why would I purchase another product from them?So disappointed!
The worst customer service I have ever experienced, they don’t even deserve the 1 star rating. Staff have no idea about their products nor do they take the time to actually listen to your concerns. I have a 6 month old device and was told by the customer service consultant that my device is outside of warranty ?? I found this funny because the website states 2 years warranty, just shows the lack of training and knowledge these consultants have. Will never buy from them again! Stay away!
Unprofessional and unreliable products. Bought Deebot T9 in January 2023, it worked fine for few months and then cleaning became inconsistent. Sent for repair but the cleaning is still inconsistent. Both the customer support and reseller in Malaysia denied further help. Total waste of money for the substandard product and NOT recommended at all!
I wouldn't even give Ecovacs products, especially their robovac/mops any rating at all. They rate themselves 1st on the market, but all I can say, is they are 1st from the bottom. We had 2 x faulty machines which only lasted 3 months. Ecovacs then refused to give us a refund and once NSW Fair Trading got hold of this they demanded we receive a refund, we are still waiting, it's been 6 months.Their accounts department, complaints department and their products are inferior. I would never recommend them to anyone, nor will I ever purchase anything from them or affiliated with them again.
Charger broke which I was told would be replaced under warranty. After 4 weeks no replacement they said they were having trouble sourcing one so to send the whole unit back for replacement. I did this, then they had trouble sourcing the replacement.. round in circles bordering on rude responses from customer support with nobody to escalate too.. I ended up trying to get reimbursement via amazon. Got money back in the end but not enough to buy a replacement since price had gone up,, honeslty shocking aftercare.. i could have iuat bought a charger! hoover itself very good so such a shame. I would never buy again,
Had this vac for 18 months now and after about a year it atarted misbehaving. Tasks it once did fine every time now run inconsistently after software updates. It constantly loses the map, will ram into areas that are blocked out the map even when the map is properly loaded and the robot is visibly tracking on the map, gets lost in corners, and doesnt touch with its bumper but actively repeatedly rams objects. I think its likely they roll out updates across all models without properly testing them on older models.I would reccomend avoiding their products.
Awful company and the customer service is nonexistent. My hoover broke months ago they collected it and returned it back to me in worse condition than it left the house. They then took it back and agreed that I would be sent a new hoover, I have been waiting for months for the new hoover. Customer service doesn’t help and I get no updates whatsoever. Still waiting for a new hoover to be delivered and very doubtful I will ever see it again.
Deebot T10 plus does an ok job when it’s working but mapping facility is pretty damn useless. Constantly getting lost, returning to base as it doesn’t recognise designated area or simply refusing to start. Have remapped countless times and all sorts of other fixes suggested by ‘customer support’ none of which help.Customer service of this mob is awful, frankly my dear they have your money and they just don’t give a damn.
Don't buy. Their customer service is terrible. I cancelled the order but they delivered the item despite acknowledging the cancellation request. After that, they asked me to pay for the return cost as this was not a 'technical' issue. They advised me to try the product in case I liked it and to my surprise robot got stuck 10 times during 1st cleaning cycle of a small area. I contacted again and they told that a different team would deal with it who are not available on the phone.Despite several contacts I haven't heard anything. Please avoid at all cost.
