I made a small purchase - a perfumed cream I had been searching for- on ebuy7.mom and never received the item. They had given me the tracking number of an order that shortly after was delivered (from China) to a larger city not far from where I live. According to my credit statements, the 50$ went to a company with a US address. Now, with more experience internet shopping I would know better. The site I was shopping on had not been called ebuy7.com, that name name showed up on the emails i received after I made the purchase. Pictures on the website were not professional, and the products I was looking at were of varying sizes, but were all priced the same. I had originally gotten to the website from an image search of the product I was looking for. I was not objective enough when making the purchase. I live abroad and this is one of the small things I miss so much, but isn't ususally shipped outside of the US. After the fact I realized it was more than shady , but an outright scam (perhaps they were imitating the ebuy7.com name) and counted myself lucky that my personal details didn'seemed to have been used anywhere else. I'm writing this out of gratitude to sites like this, and to people who share their stories, all of which I now use to guide me when making purchases.
