I missspelled a Name on my Flightticket (i switched two letters). I tried to get it fixed directly by the Airline... but they told me they can't help me cause I booked with ebookers. After that I filled in two forms over a week in between them, so enookers would fix the name. I never heard anything from them, that's why I called them. They told me they can't see any filled in form and send me another form to fill in (apparently the one on the internet is the "old one"). I filled it in and send it to them. They told me on the phone, that they got it and will come back to me in 48 hours. They also told me, i most likely have to cancel my flight and book a new one (without getting any money back), because it is "too late" to fix the name (1 week before the flight).I did not hear from ebookers in the next 48 hours and started losing hope. I called the airline directly again and told them what was happening... they were nice enough and fixxed the name for me for free... never got any message grom ebookers again... Worst customer service EVER
Ive been waiting for a refund of over 200 euro since August 31 of this year. Ive sent numerous emails asking for an update - the first was 17 days ago and each time Ive been told to wait. DO NOT USE THIS SITE.
Have used ebookers for years and am currently a platinum member. I recently asked for the lounge vouchers I’m entitled to as a member reward only to be advised that there was a system booking error so they would credit points to my loyalty scheme. Sounded fine however as ebookers is closing down on 4th September and the 72 hours is now 6 days I would assume this is a rouse and there is no intent to honour this. I was about to book a hotel but the customer service and false promises have made me reconsider. Whilst ebookers (Expedia Group) have said bookings will be honoured if I had any I would cancel them as there is no support that I would trust in the future

never take airline credit from Ebookers. family booked to go to Chicago, However I had to pull out because of a issue with my gallbladder and knowing I would not be covered by heath insurance in the US. Flight cost €517.00 . got the credit told I could use it on any fin-air route. so after gallbladder was removed tried to book Dublin to Helsinki which is advertised around €370 euro even cheaper with Swissair €170. ebooker wanted another €500 with my credit of €517 bringing a ticket they had advertised on their site for €370 to now just €1017.00 Its extortion. They never intend on you getting any of the value of you credit and I informed them over a month before flying so they resold my seat. to add to this my wife did take the flight , it was to a friends wedding. the flight to Chicago was cancelled and the put her on a much later flight to New York then on to Chicago missing the wedding . PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT STOP AT BLANKET HOTEL MUNNARWe had a very disappointing experience at the Blanket Hotel in Munnar when both my wife and myself stopped one night on 28th January 24, -particularly with regards to their health and safety level and the service provided.My wife slipped & fell in the Shower of the Blanket Hotel in the early Morning of 29th Jan, dislocated her Right arm, broke her nose, and lost 2 front teeth. (We had requested Vegetarian -NO Garlic &Onion Meal, a non-Slip bathroom mat when we checking in, but it were never supplied.) Staff’s support was inadequate and demonstrated lack of concern for safety and well being.Six months on wards, after the accident and numerous messages exchanged from Senior staff Members and Managers no talk of small compensation or amicable solution has been met.
Ebookers doesn’t use two factor authentication. It allowed two fraudulent transactions value 5000 usd to go on my account without checking transactions were authorized. Booked a package holiday to turkey,on the initial booking it clearly states hand luggage and checked bag included.A confirmation email was sent by Ebookers stating it was economy, however a email was sent by sun express stating it was light economy meaning I was only allowed 4kg of hand luggage. I stated they have advertised misleading information which will now cost an extra £80 to increase hand luggage to 12kg.So make sure you check baggage allowance before proceeding to book and make payment!
Due to china flu (covid19)......Long story short we cannot book using our air vouchers / credit which is our money over £2.5k worth, we cannot book any emirates airlines flight what ever dates or country we try via ebookers but if you go over to the sister site bookingdotcom you can to any destination and date, but can not use our money. Worst experience ever. We were made aware our Malta hotel was closed on the day by hotelier. Ebookers had not been aware so they said. Despite long recorded chats indicating this was not cancelled by us they insisted we cancelled by using the app! The promised call on relocation never happened. Terrible customer service. I’ve used ebookers for a a number of years but recently booked rooms for a group of people on a book now, pay upon arrival deal with the usual ebookers bonus promised. No issues with the hotel but ebookers are now refusing the bonus payments on the rooms even though I have provided the hotel invoices and credit card statement as proof of purchase. Their bonus system is a scam.

I have had two bad experiences with E bookers. One can be an error but twice is not an accident. On both occasions we booked a hotel paid up front and when we arrived had no access to our accommodation. On both occasions neither the hotel or Ebookers would answer our queries. Couldn’t even offer an explanation or an apology. I can’t risk using them in future.
Be careful with flights on package deals. Booked an all inclusive to Lanzarote. Flights with easyJet don’t include normal size cabin baggage. Only a tiny underseat bag. Need to add £90pp to ebookers holiday cost.

Since the cancellation of all flights from march this yearI had several hotel bookings with EBOOKERS that where all non refundable. After contacting Ebookers all my hotels where refunded with fantastic service. All MONEY was back in my account within 5 days its a pity other travel agents whome I had flights booked with still have not refunded. Not an honest company at all. Hotel I booked in USA emailed me directly saying more than happy to refund but ebookers blamimg hotel saying hotel won't refund? Additionally have not refunded my cancelled USA May flight, fobbed me off over and over again. Dreadful customer service, clearly trying to hang on to customer's money to stay afloat.
I have now unsubscribed every time I receive a marketing email over the last month. I contacted them through Facebook messenger & explained due to my husband receiving treatment fir cancer we will not be holiday for a long time (if ever again) & their emails were upsetting. “Got scammed”

Booked a hotel in Morocco that didn't exist. We asked around town and it turned out that the pictures used on the fake listing belonged to a number of other guesthouses in the area. A complete scam. Ebookers refused to give me a refund and didn't help me find alternative accommodation. I was literally left out in the cold with my 3 fellow travellers (we were on a cycling trip in a remove area). It's a perfect platform for scammers – avoid at all costs, stick to booking.com and airbnb! Service Value

“Dishonest travel company”

Poor customer service, withholding refunds. No response since automated message 8 days ago. No record on file when calls made. Claims they have issues refunding monies to clients. Obviously a dodgy company, don't give them your business. They are the worst I have dealt with in over 30 years of travel and I travel 40+ times per year.

“Rubbish customer service, failed to keep their own...”

Rubbish customer service, failed to keep their own promises. Ebookers changed our flights due to an airline schedule change. According to the airline, they were given a choice of 4 new flight options and should have consulted us - the customer. Instead they chose for us, changing the entire routes, airlines and lay over times, making the whole trip much more difficult than we had wanted. To make matters worse, they chose an option that I could have booked in the first place at a cheaper price. They never called us back, even after promising to do so 3 times and kept to their policy, stating that these were minor changes. Their customer service is awful and I would not use them again.

“Is ebookers actually Expedia under another name?”

Had dreadful experience with Expedia after they left us homeless after a fake Hotel booking left a family of 4 seeing in the new year with hookers and pimps in doorways I n Pattaya streets. Worst customer service! I'm also another victim for not reading reviews before using this bunch of incompetent idiots. I've been trying to change my return ticket from Vietnam, impossible to get hold of these fools you hold the line for over an hour until you give up and they refuse to change it online. Be warned! Ebookers sent me a ticket with the wrong last name. First ebookers said they would fix it, then did, nothing, and when I pushed refused to do anything. They blamed it on Air France and security policy in the US (our destination). This is the problem with ebookers: as an intermediary they can blame everything on somebody else. I had to eat the cost of the ticket they issued for a fictitious person and buy a new one at a much higher fare. It's not worth it to use ebookers. It's not convenient, doesn't save time, and their prices are no better than the fares direct from the airlines. And they are thieves.

The prices are shown cheap but they also fluctuate a lot from airlines, so once a ticket is booked with available seat then the flight must exist with confirmation of ticket thru email or phone, if they change the flight then it is a site which makes scam in some places alone to purchase ticket. “Dishonest! Incompetent! Avoid at All Costs”

Well, they just don't seem to get better even if improvement should come easily when you start below the ground. I've recently made the mistake of doing business with them and their spectacular incompetence cost me an extra 900$ plus a good amount of stress that I could certainly have done without. In fact, they failed to notify me of a flight change. When I arrived at the counter, it was simply empty. I missed my connection; it was a nightmare in many ways. When I called the "customer care service" (for lack of a more suitable expression), the rep was simply useless and his only concern was to make sure that the call didn't escalate. Apparently, I was "lucky" that someone picked up the phone. Finally, I had to take care of everything. The good news is that it doesn't have to happen to you. Just keep away unless you really want to travel poorer and angrier.

I have booked with ebookers several times. Before when there was a problem I could get someone on the phone and it was sorted. But things have changed. I rang customer service and entered the queue as number 6. After 30 minutes I was number 5. How can a company this size have only one person on the phones? Sadly my days booking with them are over. I tried to book a holiday with Ebookers and it told me the payment had failed twice so I changed websites and booked a holiday successfully. Then afterwards Ebookers sends me an email itinerary. I immediately contacted them was given the runaround for two weeks to be told I would not be refunded any of my money. I lost over 1000 euros because of their mistakes. Whatever you do, do not book with these rip offs.

“SCAMMERS”

We booked flights to NZ through ebookers. The flights costing us approx £4400 were subsequently cancelled by the airline. We have contacted the airline, who stated that ebookers are responsible for paying the refund not the airline. Ebookers UK helpline is automated, it is totally impossible to talk to a human being, no matter what option you select, We have tried many times to contact them by email, again they do not respond. We are left with the conclusion that they do not care about their clients, are not willing to repay cancellation costs credited by airlines and are acting fraudulently against international laws. I have contacted my local MP who has promised to raise the matter on behalf of the many hundreds, perhaps thousands, who have been defrauded.

I would rate them one star but it would not let me put -0. They advertised on a separate site a different hotel when booking came to and booked it ended up being another dump 15 miles away. I paid 399 I ended up with a 218 refund! Do the math disgusted with the customer service and the way they blame everyone else.

The customer service at Ebookers has been amazing, regular contact via email, quick online chat, they persevered and got all the hotels to agree to cancel with a full cash refund, and all the money back in my account before the holiday was meant to start

“Worst travel agency I've even dealt with!”

First, they charge you $400+ for a connection flight that was going for $150 (ONE WAY!)else were. Then when you go to change the flight, they're telling you have to pay an additional $260 for cancellation! The worst possible travel agency I've ever dealt with! I used to book a lot with ebookers and when everything is fine that's great but when there's a problem, get ready for a lot of frustration. So many hoops to jump through to sort out something that was not my fault. First time I put it down to bad luck but when similar happened, I realized that it was the system that was wrong. Never book with these cheap third party "travel agents" registered in other countries (ebookers in India I believe). I spent 30 minutes trying to get something very simple sorted - a child tax refund - but they either couldn't understand or refused to. They also charged £15 each fees hidden under general "taxes" but do not make anything clear about their fees separately. Why do the OFT let them get away with this? I know why. The OFT doesn't exist anymore.

Then rang Customer Services in India (the Website promised they 'could help with bookings'). They couldn't. “Their Mistakes Will Cost You”

Definitely avoid this service. I booked a flight with them on the evening of March 29th and called them to cancel the following morning. The customer service representative to whom I spoke reassured me that he was cancelling my flight, but the charge continued to appear in my credit card statement. I called them again and they told me that since the 24 hour refund period had already elapsed, I should take it up with the airline. Now I have to pay nearly 400 USD for their mistake.

“Very bad service”

Very bad service. I dont recomend and will never use them again Requested to change my return ticket but the agent on the first time took 45 min to check, kept asking non sense questions and in the end said to buy a new return ticket. Then i also tried on their online chat, it was very frustrate, they are not willing to help, they just do the basic and dont care at all. Conclusion, they could not change my return ticket and took over 40 min to check. Very useless. Next time will buy directly from airline.

I also had a problem with this company. I'm from Los Angeles and try to book a flight to Colorado and I noticed the flights were cheaper with ebookers although it never stated that the price was in British pounds. It should give some type of breakdown for their customers. My ticket actually cost over $200 more then what was advertised. I was also hit with some kind of $17.26 international purchase transaction fee. These charges totally screwed me. It put my bank account in defict. I was then hit with a overdraft charge and now in bad standing with my bank. When I tryed to call the long distance number it was disconnected. On line the only info I could get was there are no refunds! I noticed there are no 1800 numbers. They make it impossible to contact a real person for US clients. I will never buy tickets on here again and will boycott this company. Tip for consumers:Never use this site it is a scam! Service Value
