“How can this get worse? They'll find a way.”
I recently had a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience with Easy Breathe that I believe others need to be aware of. On August 30, I contacted them about purchasing a CPAP machine and discussing my insurance coverage. The representative mentioned my plan had a high deductible but gave me inaccurate information about my in-network coverage, which led me to make a purchase based on incomplete and misleading information. After later discovering that I did, in fact, have in-network coverage, contrary to what Easy Breathe had told me, I reached out to Keith on September 5 to request a refund. I initially contacted him by phone, followed by an email chain the same day. Shockingly, my emails were completely ignored, and it wasn't until I marked one as "urgent" that I even received any acknowledgment. Even then, despite customer service assuring me that my concerns would be addressed, I was met with silence. To add insult to injury, the original charge was $399, but this amount was buried within nearly $100/month payments for 12 months, bringing the total cost to a staggering $1,400. This deceptive pricing, compounded by coercing me into a payment plan based on false information, is utterly unacceptable. If my in-network insurance had been correctly applied, my costs would have been reduced by 80%. It's clear to me that Easy Breathe prioritized squeezing more money out of me over being honest and maintaining integrity. Furthermore, Easy Breathe's insistence on handling this issue exclusively through phone calls, rather than email, is highly suspicious. This seems like a deliberate attempt to avoid creating a written record, making it nearly impossible for me to track and resolve the issue. Meanwhile, the irony of receiving almost daily communications asking if I'd like to investigate my insurance with them—despite their blatant failure to disclose my coverage before—is not lost on me. The product remains unopened, and I have yet to receive any written acknowledgment or resolution. This appalling lack of transparency and refusal to engage with my legitimate concerns has resulted in over $1,400 in unnecessary expenses. I strongly advise against doing business with Easy Breathe. Their blatant disregard for transparency, their failure to provide crucial information, and their utter lack of customer care are unacceptable and should serve as a warning to others. “They all lie.”
They tell me every time I call my machine will be shipped out that day and call back and oh I'm sorry it will be shipped tomorrow. The CS person is rude and unprofessional a long with there manager.
“Shipping is awful”
I paid 30 dollars for 1 day shipping because the velcro on my mask straps was wearing out. It's been 6 days and it's only just now getting to the "label created" stage! What's the point of spending all that money if it's still going to take forever for it to be delivered!
“I have an order number, no receipt received via email.”
I order a new face mask and headgear. Paid and received an order number. The payment was taken out of my bank account, no receipt was ever sent to my email. 2 different representatives shuffled me back and forth insisting they had each emailed a receipt and I never received one. Easy breathe has yet to send an email stating the shipment and delivery date for my mask. I'm becoming concerned this is a scam and now I don't have the money to purchase a new mask from a legitimate supply place. Tip for consumers:Don’t order from Easy Breathe. They took my money from my bank account and never processed my order. I’m having my bank try to get my money back . Products used:My order was paid and never processed. Service
“Good service from Alexis Moore.”
I tried three different masks before I just went back and ordered my old nasal mask. I had a full face cushion but no headgear or mask. I didn't get the mask but did get a cushion. I currently go thru chin straps about every 30 days, and unfortunately they don't work that well as they slip during your sleep. Overall, I was satisfied with the good service from Alexis. He was very patient with during the whole process, If I had one thing to add, it would be to add Medicare as a primary insurer.
“Won't adjust properly”
I tried and tried to get the mask to fit properly with no luck. The mouth piece keeps blowing out and make a noise the keeps you awake. The nasal posts never fit well either. They kept collapsing then would leak. I've tried a lot of masks, but the last two that I've tried, I was not impressed. It may be my head configuration, but this company is very good at working with people to help with suggestions for a better product, and the return policy is very much appreciated.
“They take your money and leave you hanging for a month and a half!”
I ordered a product from Easybreathe and understood I would have to wait for a later ship date. A day after that ship date I called to check the status only to be told it would take significantly more time before it ships. No one ever sent me an email on the status, I had to chase them only to not receive the product while they had my money tied up for 1 1/2 months. To top it off they used the lame excuse "because of the current virus situation" when I already waited a month and a half.
“Lied too”
These bastards took my money, promised me a tracking number and never got it. Promised it was shipped. Never left the state of California. Promised it would be delivered on Wednesday 11/24/2021. Never showed up. This company is a worthless scam. Don't use them. Brantley G
“Breath easy is definitely easy”
Just got it set up and works great. Very nice product easy to order the people are very nice and polite and walk you right thru the process, my device arrived within 1 week. The whole process was simple. I'll be doing business with breath easy a long time.
“Excellent!”
What can I say, i had a great experence with easy breathe! Chad was funny and helpful on the phone and he helped me find the right mask after mine kept leaking. I won't go anywhere else for my CPAP problems now.
“Items missing in shipment”
Two times I have ordered two nasal pillow masks. Both times only one of the two have arrived in the original shipment. Packing slip in both cases indicated 2 items shipped. Easybreathe quickly sent out the missing mask. They need to get their quality control improved in their shipping department. Shipping was quick but incomplete. Service Value Shipping Quality
“Bad treatment and poor customer service”
Recently my Resmed Airsense 10 started making an awful noise that kept me awake. They told me to get it fixed would take 5 to 8 weeks. Without a CPAP machine for that long, I would be a mess. There only answer for me was to buy another $1100 CPAP machine to replace it while it's gone for 5 to 8 weeks. They will be fixing my machine and I will be renting another one from another company, because they couldn't find a resolution to my issue. Buyers be careful with this company, they sell something that you need for survival and they don't give a **** about your well-being. “Return procedure”
I contacted easyBreathe today regarding the need to return the product as it was not large enough. I learned that you have no replacement that will correct the situation. I was told I would receive a shipping label and a full refund. I have not received the label
“It took forever and did not fit.”
It took a very long time to receive my new mask and when I did get it it does not fit properly. I ordered a large and the package says large but it does not fit as well as the large masks that I have had in the past. I think I will have to find another source.
“False Advertising”
I received an email from easybreathe.com. Save $100 using code "DREAMFULL". I changed my immediate plans to order this product. After spending all of the time to make sure it was correct... I went to pay. Guess what! No area for code entry at the checkout. My wife double checked and ensured that I wasn't missing it. Nope! Bad karma easybreathe and a waste of my morning. I am not only leaving a 1 star review (because 0 isn't an option). I am also unsubscribing to your emails. I can only assume that your business plan is to get people to just make the order and give up on the $100 off you advertised.
“Cheap plastic, and no strap included?!”
Seriously, I purchased nasal pillows with headgear... I got the Nasal Pillows with no headgear. Paying what I did, you'd think they could include a cheap elastic strap with the cheap plastic nasal pillows that I paid a mint for. I will search elsewhere for my C-PAP needs going forward.
“Misleading Product Discriminations”
The initial ad price was totally misleading for the CPAP battery. Then original salesperson described that CPAP machine battery would last one night, but it only lasted 5 hours. I called back and spoke to another salesperson and was told I needed to pay an additional $20 to buy a humidifier bypass cover to make the battery last all night. I already spent over $400 just for the battery and car charger. Then I was told if I wanted to return the item I do not get a refund, only get store credit. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone for anything, NOT at all a satisfied customer.
“Might be perfect for some”
Don't let my rating scare you away from trying this. This is the fifth CPAP I've tried and had to tape my mouth shut to use it. It is the least uncomfortable with the straps than any of the other that caused TMJ but my sinuses did terrible with the air pressure delivered in this way. I also got my lowest score for adjusting the mask and for leaking (which I must have done in my sleep). It seemed to leak least than any of the other masks but with moving around, I must have had to adjust the nose piece. I wish it would have worked because it is very lightweight and doesn't leave lines on my face like all the other masks or make my face look all puffy for half of the day after waking. Since I am very sensitive, the nose piece couldn't be adjusted any tighter without discomfort and the tape was starting to cause skin problems. Tighening probably would have solved the leaking problem. It is a great product but just not for me.
“Poor customer Service”
I recently purchased a ResMed N30 mask for $169 and found the climate line on my machine was to big in diameter to fit the mask elbow. I emailed easybreathe twice, and got no response. I talked to a customer service rep on line to see if they had a connector to go between the climate line and the mask. I was told to send a picture, which I did. This was the first non response. I then talked to a rep on the phone and explained again the issue and was told again to send a picture of the connection, which I did and no response. Very poor service! I did check with another company and found a part that will work, and the same mask for $30 less. I did not purchase the return insurance for $25 and do not want $169 store credit from this company so I ate the $169. The price for not shopping around.
“Utterly wretched service”
Waited a month and a half; they told me insurance wouldn't cover it without a prescription for a new one. Talked with Easybreath and my insurance rep on a conference call. Insurance company said it was covered. Three days later, EasyBreathe called back and said it wasn't covered. They are either incompetent or liars, or both. Tip for consumers:Don't use them. “Love Machine, But Case is a Big Disappointment”
Love the machine, but case is such a disappointment for carry it. You have to place all the attachments in separate bag to take with you. Such a let down for the price $32.
“If I Could Give a Zero, I Would”
My review is more about customer service than the product. I contacted EB and explained that I had the results of my sleep study but needed a prescription. They never got back to me. I was diagnosed with OSA April 4,2019 and can't get into a pulmonologist until Oct 30,2019. It's just dangerous to be this exhausted and have to drive daily. I was willing to share my medical records, specifically the OSA results, but they never bothered to even return my email. Then I contacted them through their CHAT but they also never responded. I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING POSITIVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS COMPANY.
“Slow delivery”
I was surprised at the length of time it took to receive my order and I think the cost of the items was very high as well. I also thought it was strange that I recevied an e-mail the day AFTER I ordered to get a discount on ANOTHER order! I don't expect to need to duplicate this order for at least 6 months, so if you want to send a coupon for a future order that doesn't expire for a year, that would be welcome. REceived today. Nice carry all... BUT The container for the water is NOT there. I spoke to a nice lady and she said it would be sent to me. I need my CPAP and it useless till the part arrives.
