Is e-food.gr Legit?

There is no option to un-do the donation to charity option. I pressed it by accident and there is no way to unselect the option. I ended up ordering without unselecting. And the worst thing is, now it will be forever on my previous orders so if I use the order again option, I'll have to pay this stupid donation thing again. There is no way to contact them either so I am forced to leave this review in the hopes that they will see it and fix it

After 1 hour of waiting I contacted them and the restaurant never received my order. No compensation after either

I placed a supermarket order at 15.00 today expecting to arrive at 18.00. At 22.00 after being in contact with 2 customer service people I was told that the store was closed and that the order was cancelled. The customer service kept on reassuring me that the order is on its way like minutes away from 20.00 till 22.00!! Unbelievably disappointed NEVER AGAIN!

The estimated delivery times provided by restaurants are completely unrealistic on their platform (both e-food and restaurants are responsible for that). They often claim 25 minutes, but the order can take up to an hour longer to arrive. Despite these delays, they still charge you and offer no compensation, simply stating they were busy. These delays also negatively impact the food's quality, leaving it cold. The customer service staff is unhelpful and ineffective, making it more efficient to deal with automated bots than the support personnel you're paying for.

This is a really great application but can be very misleading if you have not personally tried a restaurant. It seems that restaurant owners make a big number of fake 5 star reviews and efood will not or has not found a way to stop this from happening. Maybe detailed review texts should be mandatory or the same user could make a limited number of reviews for the same restaurant. This could also be solved statistically.

I only used this service once. I guess I was unlucky since I throw the delivered pizza in the garbage, since supermarket pizza is better. Anyway, I can't believe that this was the quality provided all the time in all areas.... I will give them probably another one chance since there are not many platforms like this in Greece, I hope that this time I will have more luck

I had to report the transaction to my bank as a scam. HSBC is working on that. I made a claim for an order having missing items. They closed the claim after asking what’s wrong (I’ve already reported the missing items).Order number : 467415314

E-food.gr is a scam for foreigners:Ask me why? Especially foreigners do not use credit card details to order any kind of food because I did, later when I went back to my home-country and they used my credit card details as E-booking.com agents do... and they deducted money from my account....I know very well about Online System how does it work but this piece of scam E-food.gr application operator did that to me because they think they are smart than us who can even sneak into their server to get full details how they manage this IOs and Android to scam because scammer do scamin others pockets money 💰

Tried paying with paypal and visa eur debit card. Should be straightforward, did not work. I used the chat, they assumed I had saved my cards, so asked me to delete and re-add. Also not able to help you reach the food order company so we could order by phone while they get it resolved. Absolutely no help even before i bought anything, I wonder if anything would go run after I pay, whether they would be as bad or even worse...

Part of online order delivered, 1 out of 3 items not sent, no messages, no reply on telephone line, email on box of recipient full! Not contactable. Completely dishonest, sham company, do not buy online

I was a frequent user of this service since it is nice and easy. Today I realized they delete ratings from restaurants if they don't like them. They deleted a negative review I gave for a place without any information and explanation. Keep in mind that on my review I was saying that the delivery guy came without wearing a mask, and he was literary coughing in front of me. Make your own conclusion on what is going on here.

You cant turn your employees into freelancer contractors. Minimum wage in Greece is very low, and the cost of delivery thank god is comensurate. Either the cost will transfer directly to the customer, or you will keep your delivery as full timed employed. Unless you are willing to risk not finding employees to work as couriers at all.

Someone from Thessaloniki while I was in Athens hacked my account and ordered a big amount of food for himself to deliver in the middle of a street. I called e-food a lot of times to give back my money and told them that this is a GPDR violation due to European Union rules. They don't give a damn. I am still waiting for an e-mail with instructions for them and they said just to go to the local police and inform them about it. Total unprofessional behavior.

The devil as far as companies go. They sell your details or share them with others when they shouldn't. Fake "offers" that actually are more expensive than buying directly from the restaurants. Very buggy Android app. Heinous working conditions for their employees. The owner, Mr. Paminos Kirkinis, ows his success to suspicious lobbying facilitated by his murky relations with Mareva Mitsotaki.

They offer discount coupons for their market and when your order is delivered they ask for the full price claiming something went wrong and then tell you better luck next time. Awful customer service.

After the latest news about the employment status I will never buy anything from them again !! I will also inform any relatives, friends etc to buy nothing from this unethical company !!! I wish I could rate 0/5!!!

Not only do they erase bad reviews, not only do they treat their staff like garbage, but they also blackmailing their delivery employees to become freelance so they will avoid paying them insurance and increase their salary in the future!!It is a shameful company that i will never use again so help me god!!

They're coercing their employees to freelance, so they won't have to pay them insurance. That will lower their already shocking salaries, make their employment status completely uncertain, as they won't be bound to employ them by any laws and leaves employees completely exposed.

Lately I had twice issue with the delivery people that work specifically for this company. I am many years now a customer, ordering every second day. I filed a complaint two weeks ago and it seems it was ignored.

Works great everytime! And each time i had an issue with a restaurant they work with it always gets easily resolved using their chat service i dont even have to pick up the phone! Great service!
