Is e-bay.co.uk Legit?

Tried to contact ebay to make a complaint about ebay but there is no way to complain. For one item they cancelled a sale/order without letting me know and for another item when I accepted an offer (twice within the 24hours) it was not recorded and therefore it expired, I think it is time another marketplace.

Further to my last comment where they closed my perfectly run account they suspended for god knows what reason which they wont say?? ive broken no laws or e bay policies yet still shut me down I spoke to an advisor who said my account would be reinstated in 24hrs as done nothing wrong but instead they locked me out so i cant even sign in ?? They have £780 of my money which hasnt been released and cant even see whats happening with it fees are paid at source everything delivered no return requests etc etc etc but still keeping my funds ??? Seems they are trying to steal it i cant even call them .this is a seriously corrupt dodgy company who treat good sellers with utter contempt so plz be aware they arent as good as they make out on the tv ads not even close they drive sellers nuts .stay away if you have any sense

Ive made a complaint to e bay and they won't allow the customer to state product is fake ,for the reason to return it .this must be due to e bay knowing there clients are selling fake products. Unless this is tackled how can we has human beings expect to live a just life in every aspect . And we wonder why disrespect is prevelant in every day life . Shame on those profiting from ruining lives.

Chinese flea market trade and sub standard hustlers now dominate this site. Buyer beware!If things go wrong all e bay wants is feedback. Well here's some...this site used to be worth a search and have purchased many items but overun with chancers now and goods supplied not as specified and sellers argue the toss with you. Probably won't Ebay again Etsy is better and happier paying a few quid extra and getting what I paid for

Anyone who deals with these clowns needs their heads tested besides mine theyve closed sellers account without reason or explanation even with loads of sales and great feedback they wont tell you why either leaving sellers in the dark im owed just under £500 by them from sales been waiting nigh on 3 months still no funds from them Thought they might be better after coming away from paypal but they a lot worse .if you have a prob unless its on a screen in front of them for an answer they are lost also they have no experts in any fields so totally clueless .they treat sellers even good ones with utter contempt avoid this lot if pos .high fees paid to for an abismal service

I ordered two small boxes of haemogloblin capsules to supplement the lack of iron in my blood, as advised by my Dr, via my E bay account. It was acknowledged by the company , and my order alledgedly delivered, by placing the package in my letter box.The provider/company ayushindia insist they were delivered, when my letter box would not be large enough to take the package, and is used forletters only. I have received a most discourteous reply for the order to be resent, and told it was delivered, no further action will be taken by the company. What am I suposed to do now ?WRENTON ROGERS

They have applied fees on my postage figure when the buyer collected.They make it virtually impossible to contact them and I will not use them to sell as they make it so difficult to contact them to sort out any issues.Avoid.

Rip off e bay. I ordered an item from e bay . It never arrived. It was only £2.60 . Hardly the point though . E bay tell me now no refund will be made . I thought there were laws against this . It's what's called a rip off . It isn't the money it's the fact i never recieved my goods . Shame i can't give no stars . I'll never order from this bunch of crooks again . Rip off

Purchased goods from Cars-Centre CC listed on E-Bay as "Guest"Received confirmation and tracking numbers.Goods not delivered, and E-bay NOT helpful in providing info on Supplier - ie Tel No or e-mail address.E-bay Goods refund process is to refer one to Paypal.E-Bay are happy to host dodgy outfits like Cars-Centre CC, but sent me on a wild goose chase when attempting to track the order.

I have recently heard that E-bay are banning certain figurines on the basis that they are 'racist'. Where do they draw the line?Personally I find it offensive that all young white girls are portrayed as 'dumb' & materialistic in the shape of 'Barbie', Cindy & other such 'toys', but a lot of people get pleasure from playing with them, so I put my narrow minded attitude aside.Historic figures are just that 'historic'. On this score I find E-Bay hypocritical.

If you look at all the other negative reviews they 100% reflect the appalling service I have received from E Bay. If you have succumbed as I did over lock down then do not bother battling with them to deal with your concerns, too frustrating and time consuming -they really do not care. Just do as I have and cancel your account. There are plenty of other retailers out there much more worthy of your custom.

I have never had a problem with ebay but more must be done with regards to sellers false descriptions. I recently purchased a wooden bathroom cabinet from BROAD OUTLIINE on ebay as I was moving home, this turned out to be coated polystyrene. I had thrown away all packaging(stupidly) and couldnt return. Item only fit for dolls house or bin. BROAD OUTLINE. AVOID!! unbelievable that rubbish like this is descibed as wood so if anyone wants to buy from BROAD OUTLINE, just remember, D. TURPIN was honest enough to tell you he was a robber!!! AVOID BROAD OUTLINE ON ebay.

Ordered a kindle case on 3rd January from company with an English sounding name only to find out it was from China after I ordered it and got confirmation and then find it can take up to 19th February. It could have gone on a round the world cruise quicker. Tried contacting e bay they don't want to know before 19th February - ridiculous - don't buy anything from China - hopeless.

Bought two junk pants, camo. the same place, the one was cancelled yesterday for a third party but kune is well on the other pair from same place 2-got military pants that just work trousers with nedpudder in, you can't see it in the picture and they won't lavedet about 3-have been waiting for over time on several of my things and time flies just, eBay is the responsibility from themselves. It is nothing more than a used clothing and thefts, you will not hvar or whether you get it. Beware Of THEM

Been an e-bayer since 2006, bought an item that never arrived. Opened a dispute, and sided with the seller, Appealed and lost, Dispute providing conclusive, concrete evidence I never received the item. They don't give a crap about honest buyers as long as they get there sellers %. Absolute money grabbing scumbags. Payment protection? Like hell.I will never EVER use ebay again and will do everything in my power to discourage friends, family, work colleges even strangers in the street from using them. I was wasn't that surprised to see the same situation off buyers being ripped off again and again on here and will be referring everyone i know to these reviews.

E bay tried again company posted nearly at close of business an the night before it had to arrive across country for next morning but receiving payment 80+ hours before. e bay make it so difficult to do anything that it could be surrgested that they encouraged this type of behaver and care little for buyers only commission. be very careful unless you have time and can be bothered chasing these people to get your cash back. this is outdated much better ways to get goods customer service is a joke avoid is my advice.

Whilst most sellers are ok, they all seem to rely on totally useless couriers for their deliveries. I have again received a notice that my item has been delivered but it hasn't.Tyring to contact ebay is a joke. Their online help takes you around in circles and answers nothing and there is no help line so you just lose your money.Customer service is not very good

I ordered and paid for an item trough E-BAY. The seller was a company called. HELTHMAGASIN1. Not only it took an unreasonable long time for the item to reach me, but this organizatgion only send half of my paid for order. They missled me and tried to convince EBAY that the have sent me the order. LIES LIES LIES...... The order was placed on the 28th August. I am still wating to recover the items I ordered and paid for.Beware citiziens of the world, be very careful with this unreasonable, basic,bully organization. First time I've ever sold something on e bay ..... unfortunately I got a buyer who pulled out after they won the item I listed. Although the representative from e bay dealt with me very well , I didn't feel that as a seller there was adequate support . You still get charged for listings and minimum reserve price . What happens about the time waster buyer ? Seems that they get a few chances like this before e bay do anything at all . Lost confidence in selling on e bay .
