Is dyson.ie Legit?

I ordered a Dyson Hot+Cool device. It was dispatched using An Post and marked as delivered. I did not receive anything so I contacted An Post who advised it had been returned to the sender. They told me to contact Dyson with further queries.Beginning on 3rd Dec, I contacted Dyson who told me they were investigating and I would receive an update by mail with 48-72hrs. After each 72hrs period, no update was received so I contacted them again and was told to wait a further 72hrs.On multiple occasions, they explicitly told me a refund had been issued and I should wait to receive it.Finally at the end of the period the refund should have been issued, I contacted them again to be told no refund had been issued and the item was marked as delivered. Clearly no effort had been made to even investigate as I was able to confirm with the forwarder what had happened within 10 minutes.Dyson customer service has been misleading and in some cases, has flat out lied to me. I am now waiting for the outcome of another of their investigations but will also lodge a claim with the Small Claims Court in the meantime.

Poor poor poor support, that’s all I can say , your buy a really expensive product , it’s breaks down under warranty , 3 months later they finally sort it after countless calls , and some Indian on the other line , will never by again never 👎

Dyson product was meant to go back for repair yesterday 11/12/24 . We had someone wait in the house all day and nobody showed we contacted Dyson today and they said it will be another week before collection. Repairs cancelled and product in the bin . Won't be buying or dealing with them again. Waiting on my refund now for the repair that never happened 😡.

Ordered a vacuum three weeks ago, money taken and ordered confirmed, awaiting dispatch. No communication from Dyson, online check says awaiting dispatch,Speak to so called customer care they cancel the order and say they’ll refund, “your orders been cancelled for unforeseen reasons”The lack of transparency and communication says everything about this brand.

Order 1593035613 V 12 slim hoover. It is very very difficult to attach / remove the tube from the handset. Dyson recommended this model to us as 70 year olds. When I contacted Dyson they asked me to check YouTube videos for a solution!!!

I purchased a corale straighter for my wife's birthday 2 years ago. Within 2 weeks of its 2 year anniversary the battery started to fail. Now it will only hold charge for about 3 min, making it pretty much useless. There is no repair for the product so this is obvious build in obsolescence. Absolutely shameful from dyson that this nearly €500 straighter has such a short life span and is not serviceable. I'll never buy another dyson product again. As I simply can not support any company whos products, by design, can not be repaired and need to be scrapped. Disgusting mr dyson.

Dyson are by far the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with.Our Hoover brook and was covered under warranty.They told me they would send me a new one but it was out of stock.8 weeks later and 6 phone calls later they told me they would book and repair and then two days before repair they cancel it. Bad product bad service!

Paid €450 for a Dyson V10 and expected to get a quality product. But no, just after the warranty period ends, the motor fails. This machine was treated properly, never abused, and still has a battery in good condition. And the motor fails. Customer service was a joke, they didn't even have a replacement motor available, and wouldn't be getting one in. Suggested I buy another and wanted to give me names of retailers. Seriously. I wouldn't touch a Dyson again. Shoddy merchandise and incompetent customer service. Stay well clear of Dyson.EDIT: I can confirm that Dyson have supplied a new motor, and its working perfectly! If I could give 100 stars for the service I have received I would. I purchased a dyson airwrap that I use everyday. I've had it a number of years. I contacted customer care and advised it was not working they assisted with troubleshooting over the phone and it did not resolve the issue. They advised me that the model was out of warranty period but they could provide a repair for €89 to which i accepted. The courier collected the product from my door brought it for repair and has just returned with a new one sent from Dyson in replacement of my broken one. I work in customer service and am blown away by the level of customer service I have received. I understand the products are expensive but you pay for quality in the device and the customer service that comes in aftersales. I was thinking about purchasing the new hair straighter from Dyson and now I will definitely be purchasing it this year! Well done Dyson! Keep up the excellent service!

The Dyson V15 cordless vacuum cleaner is brilliant especially the laser hard floor brush attachment. Brilliant idea that shows every bit of dust to vacuum. Could not believe that amount of dust you can’t see but the laser shows everything.

I wrote a review one week ago regarding a return order. I was getting no where regarding it when in contact with Dyson customer service. Since writing review a member from Dyson got in contact and problem was sortedThankyou. Still love my Dyson V8 👍

The red velour strip on the hair screw tool had begun to fall off after only 7 months and I needed a replacement while still under warranty. The first Customer Service agent I communicated with via the app (which is a very buggy app) refused to help me at all because the app would not let me upload a photo illustrating the problem. The second Customer Service agent I communicated with sorted me and my problem out in under 3 minutes. I received the part two days later. Now that's the sort of service you expect when you invest in a very pricey vacuum cleaner.

Bought a cordless vacuum two years ago and the battery wouldn't hold much charge.Called Dyson who asked a few questions about the vacuum, then agreed to send out a replacement battery.The battery arrived 4 days later.Excellent service

I bought a dyson and after two years i needed a new battery. DID told me that I had to contact dyson direct to get a new battery. I went online and ordered 2 no. batteries, one for a spare. When they arrived, I realised that i had ordered the incorrect batteries for my machine. I contacted Dyson and they sent me 2 no. bar codes in order to send them back. At the same time I ordered the correct batteries. However, when I asked for my money back on the incorrect batteries, they kept on asking me for proof of postage. I presumed when I received the bar codes, that they would link these to me. However, after numerous calls and explanations, I gave up. I am down over €90. I do not find the dyson vacuum cleaner value for money and would never by another one again. They are so expensive, that people think they are getting something special, but they are not worth the money. Their customer service is absolutely appalling. I purchased a cordless vacuum in 2021 , it now only works for maybe one minute and turns off , I called the helpline who went through some checks and were helpful . They established that the battery was working but the main body cyclone had an issue , this machine already had an issue and the body was replaced about a year ago . The warranty lasts 2 years and my only option is to purchase a replacement , these machines are not robust , I have agreed to purchase a replacement body but I won't be buying Dyson again

Have had two orders for a Dyson Airwrap travel pouch cancelled on me even though I have received emails to say they are in stock. My Dyson Airwrap was booked in for repair and when I never received a confirmation email of this I contacted them on their online chat to find yet again I had been let down and my repair had never even been booked!! This was said to be due to a 'technical error'. So so disappointed with this service for such a huge company and when I paid a big amount for my machine. I feel like I am going around in circles with this and my machine will never be fixed even though it is 6 months old!

Very poor service! As claiming for warranty seems like whole hassle if you buy it from online!Anyway product should be more reliable as they are very expensive handhold hoover!I will think twice before buy dyson again!

Gone through two Dysons now, bigger fool me, after sale service abysmal. Paid expensive but as soon as problems occurred, shop told me had to deal with Dyson direct and then spoke to many times, hard to get through and then parts never arrived. Never again!!

When you pay 600 euro for a fan from a renowned premium brand, you expect it to be packaged and delivered with care. The box arrived with no outer packaging or protective wrap, just in the product box which was also damaged on the side. It was delivered by An Post on the back of a bicycle. It really surprised me that it wasn't delivered by a courier service. When opening the box, the way the product was packaged was also disappointing. The top of the fan wasn't protected by any bubble wrap, just covered in plastic and the filters were shoved in between the gap of the fan, causing a small scratch on the white surface. There is a difference between sustainable packaging and just being cheap. I've received budget products from Amazon packaged way better than this. Very disappointed in Dyson for this service.

I was let down on 2 occasions with no collection of vacuum. I then had to contact Dyson again and having gone through the warranty issue on first contact, the representative began to question the whole issue again. However the repair was excellent and the turnaround very speedy once collected. And I really appreciated the extra parts. So apart from initial hiccups very good responsive serviceOverall very satisfactory end.
