Is dunelm.co.uk Legit?

Came for a collection to find out that they didn’t have it in stock. They didn’t even bother to cancel the order or let me know. I was told to call customer service and the line was just continuously ringing. Terrible service!

Was made to feel like a criminal. Went to to Warrington branch in the pre tense to buy all my soft furnishings for my new home. Upon arriving into the store I headed to bedding section looking for black and gold bedding. The lady there on that department on 11/10/23 around 10 am followed me through every aisle and getting other members of staff to watch me. I was made to feel like I was a criminal. I have never been made to feel so uncomfortable in a store. I would rather look at different companies now, than give dunhelm the business. Shame as had a budget of £2000 to spend there yesterday. Not now so I’ll go to another company. Disgusting behaviour as not once did she approach and ask if I needed help which she would have realised I did in fact need help and was not a shop lifter.

Excellent staff, attentive, terrific range of stock. I found a problem on the top step down from the first floor and staff swung into action immediately. Our need was sorted. Dunelm is getting a good reputation - the Stock Market likes it!

So i ordered new made to measure curtains when the sale was on, i chose the materiel that i liked and gpt a pretty good dealI was told the curtains would be approx 2 weeks to arrive , 4 weeks passed and i heard nothing so called the store to be told they had been there 2 weeks and id had a message left on my phone (not the case ) When i collected that weekend i was told that there had been some issue and that my tie backs were not sent and that i would have to wait another 2 weeks for these , i was compensated but still 6 weeks for the total order ...

Went to buy pillow case which was out of stock on a Tues also chose knitting wool. There wasnt enough. Helpful staff said there would be a delivery next day. I returned only to find NO pillow cases on shelf or new stock of any yarn so am not a happy shopper. Am hoping to find pillow case in stock soon but gone elsewhere for wool.

Whenever we go to Dunelm they ask for our email address. I always refuse. We bought a toaster and kettle and once again were asked for an email address. I refused but was told it was needed to send the guarantee and there would be no marketing. Instead I just got the same receipt emailed as had already been given to me and now I am being surveyed etc. No doubt they have sold on my email address as well. Not acceptable

I bought curtains on-line and chose free home delivery.After placing the order and paid I got a message that part of the order was not available for delivery, I had to drive to a Dunelm store to pick it up, and it wasn't even the closest store.At the store they gave me a pair of curtains that were in a shop bag (i.e. not the bag it left the factory in). When I tried to hang these curtains I noticed some defects.Come on Dunelm, why did I have to collect from a store? Why did you give me curtains that had been removed from factory packaging? Were these curtains a customer return or on display?This is nonsense.Now I have to drive, yet again, to Dunelm to get this sorted out.This was not the hassle free on-line purchase and home delivery I expected.

After a flood in our attic, our spare bedroom was totally wrecked - all furniture & carpets ruined!At Dunelm, I purchased new bed sheets and curtains (both on sale!) and am very pleased indeed with the outcome!

I shop at Dunelm regularly and the staff are always helpful. A great choice of furnishings and household fixtures and fittings. It’s just a shop that has it all with customer service second to none. It’s great to enter the store and feel you are welcome.

Service good BUT. We bought curtains. The first to be opened had the design embroidered almost at the top and not half way down as shown in the picture. The next one had its header pulled up. This was fine as it happens. The last one had two pulls in the material near the top. Yes they were in the sale but the label did not say returns. It did not say faulty material, or faulty material. Time will tell if we can return them.

Went into the store to buy a chair didn't have the colour I wanted , the asked a assistant if they had any in stock he said there he was none but could order me one. Very quick and responsive.

I must have spent about 3hrs in the Wisbech store on Monday after meeting a friend. It's my closest store and what a great experience. I'd been looking to update my bedrooms for months and with the help of some lovely staff (thank you Sally!) they're now done. Gorgeous bold colours and accessories. Tina

Ordered some kitchen bar stools, that were reduced, on line. They were delivered quickly and I was kept well informed throughout the process. They were well packaged and easy to assemble, so I can't fault anything.

Have recently moved to our new home and have found Dunelm invaluable from light bulbs to curtains and poles. All at very reasonable prices.

Great products throughly enjoy shopping in their stores.On line shopping very poor.Staff at their store near the Abbey Centre DIRE, rude and extremely unhelpful.

Needed a kitchen item looked everywhere but found it in Dunelm excellent store

Absolutely disgusted I saw a microwave I liked I dunelm so asked for vouchers for my birthday went online to order but could not use vouchers so phoned customer services to ask if I could have it sent to store couldn’t do that either was told I’d have to pick something else in store I said it should be made clear you could not spend these online and she said it is written on the back of voucher which you don’t see till you’ve bought it she had a very couldn’t care less attitude
