drmartens.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives drmartens.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 82.3. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Reliable. Legitimate. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 82.3 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to drmartens.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Reliable. Legitimate. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a reliable and secure website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning drmartens.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between drmartens.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of drmartens.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of drmartens.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. drmartens.com is an innocuous website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether drmartens.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether drmartens.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, drmartens.com.

Purchased a pair of boots for my granddaughter from the Meadowhall Sheffield shop. Had a minor issue with them so rang the shop and spoke to a gentleman called Adam. I visited the shop and saw Adam. What absolutely outstanding customer service from start to finish. Problem solved and nothing too much trouble. So refreshing nowadays. An absolute credit to the company. Thank you.
Was sent a worn pair of boots and customer service have ignored two emails. Bunch of hippies that don’t know what they’re doing clearly, the quality is also nothing like it used to be yet they keep increasing their prices because people will pay it. A company with absolutely no morals trash products and customer service.
I own several pairs of DMs. One the Made In England range which seem much better quality and are lined. The other three pairs two have now split accross the uppers in the same place suggesting the the leather isnt supple enough. All are under two years old and and split after around 9mths almost daily useage, cleaned and treated weekly . The leather just isnt as soft as the Made In England ones. Definately poor quality. Not worth the £100 odd pounds paid at Ashford Designer Outlet discount shop. Def genuine DM product. Poor compared to past product of years ago.
I am a life long wearer of Dr Martens and love their shoes/boots/sandals/accessories. Recently small issue with a product, contacted them, their response was swift and efficient, sent me all documents required to resolve my issue. I am exceptionally impressed with how my issue was dealt with, thank you. Still a lover of Dr Martens!
I purchased the Dr Marten Blair Savannah sandles, i had to drop down a size, tyey are so comfortable, didn’t need breaking in, i put them on & had them on all day, would definitely recommend & i wont buy any other brand now
My partner bought a Dr Martens Heart Leather handbag for me in 2020 and the whole bag has slowly deteriorated and will now have to be binned. The "silver" fastenings have tarnished showing a red coloured metal underneath, the zip has broken and the mechanism in the clasp has now completely failed, it’s worn down so it no longer stays on my shoulder and the bag just falls off. The metal has given up before the leather which it shouldn’t have. When I approached Dr Martens they advised they only guarantee their products for 12 months! I understand the bag isn’t brand new but I am dismayed that leather bags are being produced with the expectation that it’s ok for them to fall apart in under 5 years. Given the climate crisis and the impact of fast fashion on the environment, I am saddened that Dr Martens are happy to produce items of inferior quality that will be binned in a few years, rather than standing the test of time. Avoid!
These are the worst shoes I ever had in my life. I bought Oxford shoes and I didn’t use them immediately. I used them for the first time after one month and they refuse the return. After 5 minutes of walking with the shoes my legs were in pain, damaged. I should have used them for 5-6 hours as I didn’t have other shoes with me and I couldn’t recover after this 3-4 days.
Absolutely shocking customer service. Sandals bought only last Summer and worn for a few months max (stored away Autumn/Winter). Strap has broken off, went to my local Timpson's who said they are unable to repair them and that they get loads of people in with the some problem. At almost £140 I find this disgusting, these were bought for me as a gift as I had wanted them for some time but it is a big expensive for me! Basically they wont do anything as out with 12 month warranty (even though worn maybe 5 months max and not everyday!!). So yeah just to chuck them away! I was under the impression that Dr Marten's lasted a lifetime and certainly thought I would have these for years. Stay well away!
I’d give no stars if possible. I purchased a pair of sandals on holiday last year in Rome from a Dr Martens owned retailer. I wore them last summer and on taking them out of storage a couple of weeks ago I noticed both sandals breaking in the same place on each sandal. I contacted customer services and sent in photos clearly showing they’re faulty (NOT damaged) but as I haven’t got proof of purchase they won’t do anything. I bought them over a year ago, who keeps receipts for that long? DON’T waste your money on these sandals they’re substandard and faulty and customer service from a well known brand is absolutely shocking.
I visited the Southampton Shop on 11June 2024 to browse and was approached by a very happy and professional young lady, her name is Georgia. She was very helpful and Knowledgeable. She helped me try on the brown original to find the right size for me. Naturally I ended up buying a pair of size 8 boots, socks, balm and heal pads. I’m am so impressed with the whole experience and will come back and will be recommending her to others. The whole shop has a very friendly atmosphere. Georgia was a breath of freash air. Thank you Georgia.
Bought Doc Martens for £149.00 13 months of wear and they developed a hole in the crease on toe area, emailed customer services to be told they were out of guarantee and they would not do anything. Absolutely poor quality boots and rubbish customer service do not waste your money thinking you’re going to get a lifetime of wear when they won’t guarantee anything past 12 months. This is the second pair of these boots first pair the leather peeled & I did manage to get a replacement pair but they’re no better! Don’t waste your money
I placed an order and this order was lost in the post, customer service said a replacement would be sent out. The same happened to my second order. They then refunded me as they didn't have my size. So I then purchased shoes from a different supplier and they arrived the following day, but at a more expensive price. I have always had Dr Martens and had good service, I think they should change the way they deliver, maybe one pair being lost but two!!There was no offer of a replacement or a discount.A very disappointed customer
Bought Doc Martens for £189.00 as gift, 13 months of wear and they developed a hole in the crease on toe area, returned to store to be told they were out of guarantee and they would not do anything. Absolutely sold out for profit, poor quality shoes trading on past quality, do not waste your money thinking you’re going to get a lifetime of wear when they won’t guarantee anything past 12 months.
I am very disappointed with Dr. Martens. First, they sent a product with obvious defects, which for a reputable brand (so I thought) is completely unacceptable. Secondly, as it is a product defect, I don't understand why I have to pay the return shipping costs, it's the first time something like this has happened to me.
I bought my husband a pair of 1461 shoes approx 1.5 yrs ago and the sole has completely come apart from the upper. Guarantee has run out after a year. I know they're not the most expensive shoes in the market, but you'd expect £140 shoes to last slightly longer than this. They are overhyped, uncomfortable and cheaply made rubbish!
Iv worn DMs for a few years now and have several different pairs. Never had a problem with ordering from there website, fast delivery, no problems. I do always buy the soft leather shoes/boots though to avoid blisters on the breaking in period
I had an issue with a pair of boots I bought 18 months ago. After filling out the online form, I was contacted by Ana R, who quickly identified the problem and refunded me. Great customer service.
Bought pair boots for £170, about 12 months ago and they have split down side in crease next to sole and now leak badly.I would NOT recommend DMs, they look great but quality and pride in product has diminished.
I've been wearing Dr. Martens for more than 20 years. In the past, they stocked (and manufactured), boots which you could simply purchase and walk away in. Those brands were the Lyme and the Oakford. These were soft and comfortable boots. These have been discontinued and replaced with the Chelsea boot, which is an uncomfortable, tough leather boot, which would take a few weeks to 'walk in', to make them anyway comfortable. I have been on to the manufacturers and they really don't care about customer comfort. I certainly won't be buying Dr. Martens again. They just ignore their customers, and their customer's comfort. Not a good way to treat loyal returning customers.
After several unsuccessful attempts to contact customer service about my faulty sandals (via website form and telephone), I finally managed to email Ana R. What a breath of fresh air! She was quick to respond, provided clear instructions as to how I could process my exchange and then the sandals arrived the very next day! Thank-you Ana - you are a credit to Dr Martens!

“Hurts my foot….”

I don't know why these are hurting me because I have DMs before and there fitted like a glove. But these sandals hurt right across the bone above the toes (see picture I am pointing to the painful part)… have I just been unlucky with a dodgy pair or does anyone else have this fault? And the back bar/strap keeps moving to the side which makes them uncomfortable I don't like to wear them now but at the cost of £139.05 i will persist ‍ As I don't know what else to do? “Great look, terrible quality”

I fell in love with the look of Dr. Martens Lexington Gaucho boots and bought them, supposing that it'll last for many years. 2 years after, sole cracked. Official store does not offer repair service, boots just run out of warranty and repair elsewhere costs almost the price of the boots. I won't buy any more boots from them, no matter how good it look. Products used:Boots Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Increasingly shoddy quality”

I bought a pair of these boots 10 years ago and loved them so much I wore them through. Now the quality is sadly much worse and my new pair started breaking down only a month after I started wearing them. The heel loop tore out way too easily. As my pictures show, it was barely secured to the boot in the first place. Shoddy work. I will be looking for a new brand for my next pair of boots. Very disappointing. “Are the more expensive DM's worthit?”

I bought a pair of 2976 Oxblood Chelsea boots. Dr Marten claims these are hand made and last a lifetime. However, after only a few weeks of wearing the leather started to split at the crease where the foot bends on the upper. It was not something I expected. I was very foolish and didn't return them. I did eventually complain but got no where. Very disappointed with a brand that boasts quality, particular with their vintage range, which is more expensive. I really would not recommend spending the extra cash. They don't live up to expectation Service Value Returns Quality

“I ordered shoes 12/23/22 as a gift. It is 1/17/2023 I still haven't received”

Ordered shoes as a gift almost 1month and they haven't been received customer service says I cannot cancel or get a refund at this time. I will be filing a claim through PayPal do not order from this company! Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Immortal boots”

They literally sell immortal boots xD I have had a couple of their boots and actually my wife did have them, too, and I, as far as I remember, was wearing them for several years or even more. Any time it's pouring outside, you just wear Dr. Martens and immerse into the world of waterproof boots. As far as I know, they all are made out of the quality leather, and even despite the fact it doesn't really correspond to current eoc-friendly agenda, they are anyway on top!

“LOVE THEM!”

This was my first time buy Dr. Martens and I 100% would like to buy one more pair from the Dr. Marten website! I am obsessed with the shoes that I got. However, because of a little technical difficulty, I did learn that I had to size down. I am originally a size 7 but sized down to a 6 and they are the perfect fit! What shocked me the most is that they came in 3 days! I think it was a sign because of the trouble beforehand! Totally recommend! And now I will look tall and stylish. <3 Tip for consumers:CONSIDER SIZING DOWN! Visit a store near by if they at least have Dr. Martens and check your size with them! Products used:SHOES - BETHAN I don't need to break them in and they're super cute Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Trashy customer service”

Do not buy online. The companies customer service is terrible. The sizing is inconsistent and they have incorrect fitting. Then they force a $7 dollar fee to restock. Then wait 30 days for reimbursement so you can purchase another sized pair. Its a massive hassle to do business with this company as they manipulate the public on their sizing so they can charge more fees. Any complaints should be forwarded to the FTC so they can look into this companies manipulation of the public Products used:Boots Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Poor quality boots and horrible customer service”

I've always wanted a pair of Dr Martens, I finally ordered my first pair but it has been such a nightmare of an experience. The boots arrived within a day of ordering them, which was great, but I noticed the stitching was already coming apart right out of the box. I submitted a claim on the Dr Marten website but didn't get a reply until a full week later. They finally replied to my email and provided a UPS return label. I shipped back the defective boots, now it's been over another full week without any word of when I will get my replacements. I emailed asking for a refund, no reply. It's been almost a month since I ordered my boots and I have nothing to show for it. Horrible quality and even worst customer service. Way to treat a first time customer. “Disappointed”

My second pair in two years this happened. Just got comfortable and the sole splits. I paid 140 dollars and have zero boots for the winter. I feel I should be reimbursed. This pair of boots is one year old. Products used:Steel toed boots Quality

“Cracked black doc martens”

I have several pair of doc marten boots. I have one pair that r 20 years and still in great condition. I bought a black pair 3 months ago for $179.99 and in 3 months they r cracking along the toe crease. I treated them with mink or when I first noticed but it didnt help. These boots look like the came from the dollar store. EMBARRASSING! Dic Marten use to have a life time warranty...not any more. I guess cos the company is putting out bad boots. I would like a refund or better yet just another pair of black boots. I do not have proof of purchase. Like I said I have several pair of these boots in brown with no problems. I didnt save my receipt for thia reason I have 1 pair that I have had for 20 years.

“The seam broke after less than 10 wears.”

The seam on the heel of the shoe broke... and I haven't even broken in the shoes. The thread broke in a place where there was never any active tension or friction. (see photos). Then I thought, not so bad, a production error can happen. But after I sent all the photos, descriptions and other information to the Cundernservice for the THIRD time, they still haven't given me any information regarding the exchange. I am so disappointed and sad! :(( Because I saved my money for such a long time to finally afford those shoes (~260 euro - discound i got). And as soon I had them, they broke (or were already broken and I did not check it right in the beginning). In the past, everybody told me what a good quality the Dr. Martens shoes have. But it seems that now a days we can't count on theyer quality nor on theyer cusomer service (i hear more and more friends complaining). :( Products used:Shoes Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Customer service order online”

I have bought many pairs of Docs all different because I love the shoes The first time I ordered online it was nothing but a fiasco and endless calls to very rude staff who wouldn't pass me to a supervisor and I left my info twice nobody even bothered calling from management if the message was even passed I was hung up on and ignored I was told it was against policy to exchange online orders and against policy to speak to a supervisor without a good enough reason I guess being a long-standing customer isn't good enough. You charge hundreds of dollars for one pair you would think keeping the customer happy would be a priority. Products used:I got 2 boots I liked the black over the pink and all I wanted was another black pair and I would return the pink in the box it's ridiculous you have customer service agents who can get away with abusing customers by spending hundreds of dollars on one pair of shoes and I have a closet full. This was my first and last purchase online and maybe all together I was so offended. I went out of my way to buy a gift certificate in their store because I thought shopping online would most certainly exchange and more to choose from.

“Stay away.”

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Uncomfortable shoes with an unclear return policy. First time customers, I suggest you look elsewhere. Service Value Returns Quality

“10% discount on first purchase- Beware not always!”

In the top left hand coroner of the Doc Martens website in yellow writing it says "Get 10% discount off your first order" no other disclaimer. Just that promise. Not true! So, after I signed up as required, waited for the email to come through, I went to place my "first order" and the code would not work. So, I contacted the company and they said this item was excluded. No where on the website dose it say that.

“Quality Issues with Chelsea Boots”

I have had three pairs of Dr. Martens boots. The first pair should have been my clue. The soles came unglued and I had to have a shoemaker repair them. The leather uppers are great. I then bought a pair of maroon Chelsea boots. The soles came unglued. The uppers were fine. These boots eventually became wearable but were brutal initially. Very stiff. Nice looking but uncomfortable. The maroon boots were returned, at my expense, to Dr. Martens in Montreal. Dr. Martens offered me a credit on the purchase of another pair (because the model I had was no longer available) and I took it. The sole on the new boots split recently. I took delivery of these boots in early March 2022 (roughly) and this is how long they lasted (Nov., 2022). Dr. Martens will do nothing for me this time since the boots were replaced under warranty. There is clearly a quality issue here. They are not standing behind the product. I am not hard on my footwear. Standard use - shopping, walking the dog. Blundstone, on the other hand, apparently does offer replacements for this sort of issue. If you wear a boot out that's one thing. But to have the boots come apart before that time is another, imho. Service Value Quality

“HIGH QUALITY BOOTS.”

This my purchase from drmartens.com. I can definitely say I'm addicted. I go the Jadon Smooth Leather Platform boots. Shipping was around 8 business days which is quite fast. I'm usually an 8 in boots but after reading the reviews I decided to go one size smaller and got the 7. I'm so glad I did. The boots fit perfectly and surprisingly comfortable. They weren't as heavy as many people complained about. I wore them for the first time while Christmas shopping at the mall for 5 hours and my feet felt fine once I got home. Highly recommend ordering from them. I know the boots are a bit pricey but the quality is there. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Paying for quality and longevity”

Although Dr Marten boots are notoriously known for being on the pricier side, you are paying for high-quality boots that will last you a long time. I owned a pair of Dr Marten boots myself that lasted for more than half of my time at high school. That's around 300-400 days of 6-hour wear and tear. Quite a lot if you think about it. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

“Send worn out shoes. Not respond my email.”

I made an order and waited many days for my order to be delivered. It's because they still waiting for that shoes to be returned and send over to me. This is why there is blues stained inside the boots. I requested for exchange. They replied quickly within 2hr. They will not except exchange but will charge me $7 for return. And, when I asked to not charge me a return fee because the shoe had been worn before and have blue stained inside of the boots. I also send a videos. It's been 1 full day, no one respond. I also email them that I can't get a return label through the site because the link that they provided keep crashing. No one answer me. I pay this much money for this kind of service? Get your shoes back. I don't give my money to this company. Products used:shoe

“Never heard from anyone”

Awful experience with customer service. They should not have a customer service phone number or email. No one answers, or calls back or emails back. Have been trying for over a week. Will have to dispute cc charge if I do not hear from anyone...

“Rubbish”

Extremely uncomfortable and when you complain they say this Doc Socks (you can purchase these on our website), these are technical socks, specifically made to help break in Dr Martens and ease the pain from some of the more painful areas. Ensure you are wearing thick socks that sit above wear the ankle to ensure nothing rubs against your leg. - Dubbin, this is a chemical manufactured specifically to help break down the leather material in a way that doesn't ruin the footwear. You should apply on the inside of the boots on the areas that are most problematic, as applying it on the outside can ruin the colour. - Wonder Balsam, our wax (or any wax that is a combination of coconut oil, beeswax & lanolin) applied once or twice a month, depending on wear, will help keep the leather nourished and help soften. - Body heat. Unfortunately, as much as it can hurt, your body heat is what will help break the footwear in best and mould to the shape of your feet and legs. This being said, try to wear them for often (but short) bursts of time as opposed to long hours at a time and then long periods of no wear in between. Shouldn't boots that cost 140 pound be comfortable? Cheaper fake ones much better Tip for consumers:Dont buy them Products used:Boots Service Value Returns Quality

“Worst customer service EVER”

“Nowhere near good enough”

Was rather excited when they launched their Vegan Collection but their boots are not up to par. Though the material used is alright and also happens to be waterproof, the shoe laces are abysmal and unless you tie them all the way up, you have to stop literally every 100m to retie them. What's even worse is in between those 100m you will have to stop at least once to pick your socks up because regardless of how strong the elastics are, the back side of the shoe is designed in such a way that it pulls your socks down and they slip through. So all in all - a huge inconvenience. Certainly expect more for the price they charge.

“Worst boots I've owned and crap customer service”

I work in a place where water gets everywhere and my feet get soaked so I was looking for waterproof boots. I found a pair that was really expensive even for Dr martens; waterproof with wintergrip soles, whatever that means. I looked at pics and the tread looked like it might work so I ordered them. Very first thing I did when I wore them was slip on the first ice I stepped on! Wintergrip soles can't handle ice?! Apparently they're specifically made for better grip on snow only. I have never, nor have I ever heard of anyone slipping in just snow... Well then I got to work and they had absolutely no traction whatsoever on even slightly wet floors, so they're completely useless for me for work. Well they were pretty comfy and seemed good boots for camping so I decided to use them for camping, but I still needed a pair of work boots. Went ahead and ordered the slip resistant ones specifically for oil and water slip resistance. They didn't even close to fit. Length was fine but they were narrow and the vamp was like a vice. Took three days to get them stretched properly to even get them on my feet. Then went to work. First patch of ice, bam fell and busted my knee. Later slipped on more ice and busted my other knee. Even my regular not slip resistant shoes I've never slipped in ice this much. They worked slightly better inside on the wet floors, but still nowhere near where I want them to be for $180. I could buy three pair of shoes for crews for that! But I wanted something that would last longer and heard good things about docs. Must have been back when they made them well. Can't return them cause I wore them. Doesn't matter that they don't do what they're advertised to do, still can't return them. Out $420 on two pair of worthless boots. And guess what? The reviews on their website? All fake. They have to be fake, because I went to write a review and it's not possible to write reviews, so how did they get there? Hmmm, very interesting. I should have done my research like I usually do but a good and trusted friend swore by them. Like I said, must have been back when they were actually worth anything. All in all this has been, hands down, the absolute worst shoe buying experience, by miles, I've ever had in my entire life. Products used:Bought: boots. “Lost me as a customer”

I purchased a pair of Bonny Tech Extra Tough Poly boots from the site. They arrived OK after the usual hassles dealing with Fedex. The quality was marginal, with some glue delamination in the toes. The boots were a bit big, as Doc's do not come in 1/2 sizes, so I added an extra insole and decided to just live with it, as there are no free returns or exchanges. Not ideal, but what can I do? The real burn was that within a few days of receiving the boots, the price dropped by $20. Like any reasonable person I thought "I'll just contact them for a price adjustment". They informed me that "out of fairness to their customers" they do not offer price adjustments. I emailed them back, that a majority of reputable retailers do offer price adjustments especially since the price drop occurred within 10 days of purchase. Of course I haven't heard back from them since. So I canceled the rest of my orders with them, and will not deal with them in the future. So for the sake of $20 they lost a good customer (my family buys a lot of shoes, and so do my friends). For me it is not about the $$, I would have been OK with a reasonable explanation of why a company does not honor price adjustments, but please do not feed me some line of BS and expect me to smile. I just don't trust them! Tip for consumers:No free returns, will not honor price adjustments Products used:boots Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies this service works and is trustworthy. It costs only $6.49/month but is worth the cost. U.S., UK, EU, Swiss, and Canadian residents only. Click below. button remove data online

  1. They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
  2. They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
