Is dozr.com Legit?

I scheduled an outdoor forklift for my company to use for one day with DOZR 3 weeks ahead of time and after all is said and done they tell me they don't have the type of forklift I reserved. Of course they tell me this on the day that I need it and after I had already been in contact with them 6 separate times discussing what time the lift would be delivered. Don't EVER do business with this company!

I arranged and paid for delivery of a telehandler lift to my job site several days in advence. They never called and failed to show up at the appointed time and never called to warn me not to bring help to the site to work with the machine. When I called it took them several hours to finally offer me another machine for 50% more money at an unworkable time. I will never call these people again and I recommend that you also avoid them.DN 10/21/2024

I had a great experience with DOZR! Renting heavy equipment was easy and the website is simple to use. The customer support team was helpful and quick to answer my questions.The equipment arrived on time and in perfect condition, and the rental rates were very reasonable.I highly recommend DOZR for anyone needing to rent heavy equipment. This place is an absolute bottom of the barrel rip off. The never delivered equipment, promised to deliver, it took me 50 phones calls with foreigners who sounded middle eastern and took $2300 from me. I'm fighting to get that money back and had to claim fraud for my bank to pursue them. My Attourney is giving them 72 hours to return my money... save your time and money and run from this garbage company

Was easy to contract. Equipment was good. Had problem with new JD dozer. Almost immediately many warning lights came on while working at job site. Called DOZR to notify of problems. Had to quit and drive to nearest town to buy DEF fluid. Used two and half gallons to get warning lights to go out. Service people were supposed to come, but never showed. We were supposed to make sure equipment was full of fuel for pickup or pay high fee per gallon. Since work time was lost and incurred DEF cost along with operator/pickup cost, we did not fill tanks then charged about $350. The amount of fuel claimed we used did not match time of meter use. No refund to us. We finished with backhoe and dozer in half the rental time letting them know to pickup. Pleasant situation turned bad.

I recently used DOZR for equipment rental, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I placed an order for equipment that I needed to be delivered on a specific day and time. There were enough days and time for the delivery to be made. However, I did not receive any email or call notifying me that the equipment would not be delivered. When I contacted them, they were unable to offer much help and only suggested charging me more for the equipment or issuing a refund. This is the second time I have had problems with them; the last time, my equipment was not picked up and caused issues, resulting in me losing time and a significant amount of money while waiting for the equipment for my important job site.

Military veteran service member Bobby Wallen assisted me in completing a rental, was super professional and super easy to deal with… went out of his way to find the best deal for my situation… because of Bobby, dozr will be my permenant rental company from here forward.

Initial customer service to get you want you want is good, but once that is done, they keep on charging for things which are not expected. Also accounts department is horrible, no body answers or give a call backs for questions. Worst experience and will not recommend anyone to go rent or lease any heavy equipment from them. Prices are high, hardly you will get any help once price is charged.

Horrible horrible !They don't even deserve a one star ! I tried renting equipment while we were from out of town and they dicked me around for two hours saying we would have a confirmation in "20 min" of where to pick up our equipment.After 2 hours, I called another company and they laughed because DOZR called them to reactivate their account with them and the company was still waiting for their VISA so they couldn't reserve the lift for them yet. So they were dicking me around while figuring out their stuff on the back end and pretending like it was me this entire time.They sent me a bunch of different emails asking for different things each time like they couldn't just get that right away in the first email. Saying my guy didn't complete their online application properly. He did it a second time they said they didn't get anything. He sent me a confirmation so I showed them and told them he's done it twice he's not doing it again, now what? The guy emailed me what's his name. Then when I reply, another email with we need the front and back of his ID ... this could have been asked in the first email with his name. They were trying to kill time to find the equipment.We rented from another company, took me 5min, didn't need all the other info, took a few minutes on the phone and my guy picked up the machine within 20 min ! DON'T DO IT. PLUS IT WAS CHEAPER AT THE OTHER PLACE.What a crappy system. I wouldn't have even cared about paying more I wanted the job done but they kept lying around instead of being truthful.

I rented from Dozr a couple of years ago and they charged me extra for a repair that wasn't my fault. I was going to report them to the Better Business Bureau, but I see they already have a D- rating there, so I doubt if that would do any good. Buyer/Renter Be Ware!!! These people only care about making money any way possible.

Do not rent from them. Unreliable. Bad Management. Poor business practices. They're going to take your money and run.

Horrible services one lie after another charged my card without having a lift then keep saying it would be here the said 3 to 5 days to refund would do business with them at all

Rented a machine once, they sent a backhoe instead of a wheel loader which we didn’t even use, we then were charged another $600 on top of the original charge then another $45 for a key. Slim ball company.

Horrible company, they told me $800, I ended up paying $1900, plus I couldn't use it because it was raining and they charged me $39 more for gas.

I am a proud American, and this is how we repay our service on Memorial Day? I am a 100% disabled US ARMY Purple Heart Veteran, and they took money from my account without authorization, and NO one is answering for this Fraud! No support. Rented an excavator. Broke down daily. No help on refund. They only help the equipment owner. Run from these a$$ clowns.

I rented a 6500lb forklift that was promised by 7-10 AM to our site. My contractor was present at said time for receipt of the forklift and we had the large bulk product being moved by the DOZR forklift delivered by 8 AM. No DOZR forklift still arrived. I called from 10:30AM onwards every 30 minutes only to be told somebody would get back to me. The driver was being paid out of pocket for every hour he had to wait in addition to waiting along with my crew. I called seven more times only to be given the same answer yet again with them taking my contact info down (which they should have). The project had to be completed today itself. I found another company that will deliver within the hour. But my God. DOZR is completely incompetent and unable to give a straight answer. They couldn't even forward me to a supervisor when I asked. It is now 3 PM and still no forklift from them. I'm shocked this company is still in business.

Stay away from them! Total SCAM company. They do not have an office in the US, this is an online scamming operation. I lost 1660 USD trying to rent a telehandler with them, the machine just didn't exist, they said they issued a refund but never happened.
