Wish I could give no stars. We buy from them often and tonight half our order was missing. Instead of customer service listening to the issue they threw me on hold for 30 minutes and proceeded to redeliver incorrect items as I told her we already had them. She argued over me then messed up redelivery so I couldn't get correct orders redelivered. Horrible customer service skills. After I hand up and call back for the 4th time. They proceed to tell me I now can't receive the correct items. Kept pushing store credit on me when I repeatedly explained I will no longer be using their company. Nothing was really resolved correctly. I would never want someone to go through what I did tonight with family members not having dinner while others did. They are good at taking money but always claim there is a problem issuing a refund.

Ordered from Tim hortons coffee and muffins.got a call from doordaah driver that muffins were not available and offered different kind of muffins but didn't want.you don't get reimbursed if you don't take substitution.i didn't want their substitution. So basically my money was taken for products that I didn't recieve. Take it or leave it. Asked for my order to be handed to me at door. Order was not handed to me at door. Order was left at my neibours door and wasn't handed to them either. Neibour found my order sitting outside their door. Then got notification order was delivered after the fact.
You’re better off getting it yourself if you actually want to eat something edible. The last 5 or 6 times I’ve ordered from door dash my food has been stone cold. I’ve ordered from different restaurants so it can’t always be the restaurants fault. There’s also been times where I’ve watched their driver go the longest route or they’ve had a stop where on the app it says that they have bags to keep my food warm. Absolute BS. My food is always cold and I don’t even get the majority of my money back.

This is the second time I have complained to DoorDash and the generic email response adds insult to injury. I am highly allergic to capsicum and I become anaphylactic if near it. I made this note when ordering. Food arrived , full of capsicum. Thankfully I have an EpiPen. After emailing DoorDash of my complaint , inclusive of photos of food, they asked for evidence of having gone to hospital and without this, refund denied. I am absolutely shocked they are still in service when compared withthe excellence in service and support provided by Uber Eats. Disgusted!
I ordered a 5 cu ft chest freezer from menards online. They only charged $7.50 for delivery. Great. Until I was notified it was on its way & being delivered by door dash. The store is 10 to 15 miles away. I couldn't understand how the driver could be paid so little for such a big delivery. I guess the driver never knows what he's picking up. This driver carried that huge heavy box up to my 3rd floor apartment. Luckily we have an elevator. I felt so bad for the guy, I gave him a $20 tip. He might have walked away with nothing if I was a different kind of person. These drivers put up with an awful lot. It's not a fair system for them.
I got three Gift cards for Christmas for my company I was trying to give back to my staff and order us a nice lunch we could enjoy.... first call was a joke the girl couldn't even understand me, 45 mins to try and get a pin number and i finally flipped out she couldnt get a simple number/letter right.. then I call today talk to someone he was great was able to understand me and help me to know that my cards were not activated. but that's where the help ended, I have the Receipts nope not good enough you have to go back to where they were purchased (unknown Sheetz) are you kidding me... I ordered from a local coffee company from DoorDash due to my car being in the shop. The driver according to the coffee company gave them the wrong order. The incorrect order was delivered and I contacted DoorDash to pick up the order and refund me my money. They refunded me $3.00 for a $30 order. I was told by 3 representatives that there is no supervisor I could speak with and the decision was final. Needless to say I lost money. This is an unethical practice and a way of getting the customers money if the order is provided or not. I will never use door dash again. They should be shut down for their practices and treatment of customers.

Horrible! They don't care if you don't get your food. Even the drivers tell you it's not their problem. They tell you to take any problems up with Door Dash on the app is the only way you can do this. It's happened with every order. It doesn't matter if you paid $12 for a meal they will only offer you $3.50 it could be a soda you paid $3 but I've noticed any and every offer is $3.50 and if you don't accept it after twelve times they will lie to you and tell you they've refunded your money and a supervisor will contact you in 24 hours which they don't and the chat which is your only option will accidentally disconnect you. Don't do it. Save yourself money. Don't believe anything they're promising. They don't care. Save space on your phone. Don't fall for the fake promotional promises. They're a lie!
Last straw. My "dasher" was said to be at the shack in the box for an hour. This is impossible if waiting for 1 or even 2 orders. I asked for customer service about this and received none. I asked 20 plus times and still nothing. There's no reason to use this service. Less than 50 percent satisfaction rate at a very high cost.
Don’t use door dash!! I use door dash for the first time ever and I ordered McDonald’s I waited for the delivery outside and said it was delivered but wasn’t I went on the app to report it said to wait for a email that never came. Spoke to a online customer service told me it was delivered when it wasn’t, told me I waited to long when I didn’t, told me I had previous refund request rejected when I’d never ever used this door dash crap before. Place an order with Chick-fil-A thru DoorDash and received no updates after an hour. DoorDash dasher called me for an updated and wanted to know if I had received the order :( Long story short, my order was then cancelled by Doordash and I didn't receive an apology or a phone call explaining what happened.
Placed an order only for them to keep sending delayed messages. I called the restaurant and they said my food had been sitting there for quite sometime. Door dash last delay time was 1hr10mins from when I placed the order. A restaurant in my suburb. I cancelled the order as I had to be in bed for an early work start. Door dash would not provide refund even though they did not deliver. Even if I hadn't cancelled the food would have been cold and no good.
Terrible service and customer service. I only use you guys cause it’s free for 2 years through prime. But still pay a fortune for food and fees. I have given you so many chances sometimes it’s good and will Tip by dasher. But most the time it’s cold and missing. Also your agents on support some are great others rude. I ordered dinner using the Door Dash app at 4PM on Christmas eve from a local restaurant to pickup.I went to pickup the order and the restaurant was closed.I immediately use the chat with support feature in the app. I wanted to get a credit for the order, get the 50% discount coupon added back to my account and get additional compensation for my time, gas, and inconvenience.I was disconnected by the agent using the chat by two different agents.After arguing that the restaurant was open and it was my fault for not getting the order, Door Dash finally did reimburse me for the amount of the order, but told me that was all they would do.The second agent told me that he would submit a claim for the additional request.I contacted Door Dash today, 5 days later, only to find out that the second agent didn't submit a claim and that Door Dash will not provide anything I asked for, not even replacing the coupon that I used.Horrible customer service. Uber Eats is better, Disgusting level of service from doordash!!! Ordered my dinner and received another person's order in the bag. Provided photos for proof and was denied any compensation. Ordered chicken burger and got a beef burger. Ordered large and got medium with enough chips to be a small. Doordash are pathetic and will go back to using Uber eats as they have actual customer service representatives

“Agree with many reviews”
We don't use this type of delivery very often. But I have seen MANY reviews where the customer is shorted, especially on large orders. We received a $300 grocery order that was delivered through DoorDash. So there were many bags to go through. Once everything was put away, my wife went through the receipt to verify the order. Yep, things are missing. I had a hard time believing all the negative reviews but, not now. We will NEVER use DoorDash again!
“Terrible Experience”
We were given a gift card by friends. Attempting to use the remaining $50, was difficult. They charged my credit card with $50 and did not apply the credit. A young single mum in Perth tried to order medicine through door dash for her sick child on the 13.01.25, the guy turned up with the wrong order which she gave back to him, then she never saw him again. $60 down she had to order again through another delivery service, this time with success (and another $60.00). Door Dash asked if she had taken photos, she did not, then had the nerve to advise she was not eligible for refund! Absolutely disgusting treatment, I went onto their complaint portal to complain and even that doesn't work - I wouldn't use them in a pink fit. If your delivery is wrong, take a photo of the wrong order, the driver and his vehicle if possible - this company is a joke.

“Terrible experience”
Any company on earth that would accept payment for an order then send you the wrong product would at least provide the correct product or offer a refund. Not these people. I placed on order from a specific restaurant, then tipped the dasher $17 before I realized he had handed me an order from a completely different restaurant. DoorDash = Cold Food The weather hasn't even gotten really cold yet. But since DoorDash drivers don't use thermal bags properly for most of the deliveries I have received, I get cold food. I've seen, on multiple occasions, the driver will take my pizza off the back seat of his car and put it in a thermal bag to bring it up to the door. Too often I get the pizza handed to me in the pizza box after having never been in a thermal bag. I've stopped ordering online for some restaurants because they use DoorDash. DoorDash is under contract with my local grocery store for deliveries. This is the second time No one showed up to the store to pick up and deliver my groceries. No phone calls no nothing just the employee didn't bother to show up. Sun Pacific Organic Green Grapes (1.5 lb) Grapes were disgusting. The bag wasn't even half full, but they looked like they were rotten, old and expired. “Borderline criminal”
Doordash didn't recognize a valid gift card that I applied to an order. OK, I cancelled the order and received an email confirmation of that confirmation. Doordash did not cancel the order with the local company and charged my card. I cancelled for that reason within 1 minute of placing the order and they only refunded me for 75% of the charge and put the balance on credit. I called and reminded them I have used doordash 2 times in the last 5 years and will never use them again...no desire to engage from their side so I will call this out to my bank as FRAUD, which it truly is. Bogus for doordash to rely on draconian "fix the glitch" methods to make money. Wish I could give them zero stars.

“The driver took our food”
I placed an order for an office for 14 people. The restaurant made the order and the dasher went and picked up the order, almost $300. I then received a notification from Doordash saying that something had happened with my order and it had been cancelled. I called the restaurant and they said that this happens all the time with Doordash. So the driver kept the order and Doordash did nothing about it. I will never use Doordash again. Ubereats has much better customer service. When I contacted them, they were rude and not helpful and pretty much told me to deal with it or I could place another order. “Finally Fed Up.”
Live and work in the Rapid City area. Don't always have time to cook, but after a dozen or so issues with this I'm done. In the last three months alone: I've had two orders stolen, at least four where the main items were missing or just wrong, and several issues with drivers delivering to the wrong address. I understand that delivering to an apartment complex, so I try to make my subtext as specific as possible to help make it as precise as possible and avoid confusion. Yet time and again, I have multiple issues with drivers just not bothering to read the delivery instructions or just being lazy and getting close and calling it good. Tack on that every time there's an issue, support is either actively unhelpful or spends longer deflecting than it took to deliver the order. Today, I waited for nearly an hour for my order, only for it to arrive stone cold and with the wrong drink. My driver didn't even bother to read the ticket and deflected when I asked how he could get the entire thing so obviously wrong. Support was only willing to compensate for the order being cold, and only at $3 compensation. I'm done using these guys. I would never recommend them and I can't in good conscience do it here. “DoorDash refused to refund my money!”
DoorDash refused to refund my money on an order and refused to deliver the order or any future orders! To put it mildly, I'm not happy! What happened is that DoorDash suddenly started glitching for my address and while the correct address has been submitted for my orders, they are now sending my orders to a town 25 minutes away! They also do this if I order directly from a restaurant who has chosen to use DoorDash for delivery, so this is extra inconvenient! So not only do I have to avoid using DoorDash, I have to check with restaurants and make sure they don't use DoorDash for their deliveries. And now I have a "credit" that I can't spend. They always find a bait-and-switch way to overcharge you. It doesn't matter what payment you authorize; they'll hike up the final payment. If you complain, they'll give you a credit for a future order, which let's them scam you again. They never offer a refund.Avoid, avoid, avoid.
“1 star is too many”
Wish I could give negative stars. Placed an online order for pickup, but when I got to the restaurant, they uncrumpled the receipt they had for me and then they informed me that they didn't have 90% of the food I ordered and could not fulfill the order. I left without a single item of food, but they charged me anyway. I contacted them for a refund and they informed me that the restaurant made the food, and it was picked up. WHICH IS A LIE. How can they make food they didn't have for me to pick up? They will not refund me. Scam artists. Jumping through hoops to get MY money back is ridiculous. Will not use doordash ever again. My experience was good at first. Delivery on time and the food was correct. They changed their policy like overnight requiring that you have 2 credit cards on file before you can check out. This is a form of discrimination. What happens if you don't have 2 credit cards and all this time you have been using one. Then they lied when you ask for help. I texted them 3 times regarding this matter and was told an email will be sent and to this date, I have not received it. The attitude I received from the chat was like they didn't care and during this pandemic, it helped to have a good delivery service. I'm disappointed.

Delivery service is good, but they tend to take advantage on pricing delivery. Showed special, but when delivered charged full price. When questioned tried to insert old standing ad. Watch the deception on advertising fees.

DoorDash is a joke. It pays drivers bare minimum to put thousands of miles on their personal vehicle. I put almost 60,000 in one and a half years. Do not recommend anybody use this platform to deliver or purchase. These Asians are making a killing off of the lazy American people. And if I'm being quite honest for every single disrespectful customer there was I remembered their address and you better believe I spit in their drink or farted feces on their food. Hope they enjoyed that. Sorry not sorry That's why you don't mess with people that know where you live. You want to treat a stranger stupid karma's a MF
