dollartree.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives dollartree.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 82.2. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Reliable. Legitimate. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 82.2 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to dollartree.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Reliable. Legitimate. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a reliable and secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning dollartree.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between dollartree.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of dollartree.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of dollartree.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. dollartree.com is an innocuous website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether dollartree.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether dollartree.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, dollartree.com.

my biggest complaint is this not being able to take your purchases out in a cart, they have these poles on them so you can't take them out the door. I can understand why, several reasons am sure, but us older people cannot carry some of these items out, such as laundry soap, water, etc., and there is no one to take them out to our car. I don't go as often as I would because of this. Also, as to being a crafty person, my two stores don't carry near the things I see made from their merchandise as shown on sites on Facebook. I would think, they would be striving more since 99 cent store closed it doors.
The sales associate at my particular Dollar tree in Port St Lucie on US1. She was an angel for me today. Her name is emmanuela and she was so kind to bring my bags out for me. so I can make it out to the car. I just had hip replacement two weeks ago and I'm not even supposed to be driving or walking around as much as I did.
Went into Dollar tree in Eastgate today to buy a few things and I would just like to say that I found the staff very very pleasant it was around 9:30 in the morning on August 27 and I found the staff to be very pleasant with a great sense of humor. It seemed that they got along very well together because they were laughing and smiling but working hard still.. everyone should be like those guys. I wish I would have gotten all of their names but I did get one guy's name who was Sam he was very helpful. Thank you Dollar tree I will start going to this one for my dollar needs even though the beechmont one is closer.
Every cashier I have had is always cordial. My issue is that the employees must do stock at the same time. They run back and forth their entire shift. It's ridiculous how much work is expected of them. BUT >>> The store (Eustis Florida) is always clean, clean bathrooms and well stocked.
I bought what I thought was Polymer clay. It obviously isn't polymer clay. It didn't specify on the package what type of clay, but it is sold like polymer clay. The clay did not dry and in research it says to bake polymer clay at 300°F for 30 minutes. I spent all day making things, and it melted all into one big puddle. So much work for nothing.
I had a quick run to a Dollar Tree in Colonial Heights Va. near SouthPark Mall. It was very busy however all associates were pleasant. Kaylee, who I found out latter was the manager on duty, was called to the front. She helped the cashier and came to help an elderly customer who could not stand up much longer. Kaylee provided a chair while the customers product was being scanned. The customer gave Kaylee permission to use her card to purchase her products. The customer was with a cane as well so Kaylee very eagerly offered to assist the elderly customer to her car. My heart was so full to see that. This act of genuine kindness made the customer shed tears of gratitude You need more leaders like Kaylee. -Happy Customer
Why do Dollar Trees have Public Restrooms? I mean I am from the restaurant industry and I know that restaurants must have restrooms if they serve food that is eaten on the premises. Though Dollar Tree sells ready to eat food, that doesn’t count. They don’t have tables and chairs for dining. Well I was trying to post a picture of the restroom I encountered today but it won’t allow me to post it here. You can’t even imagine the mess that some homeless person left for the employees to clean up. I mean smeared on the walls and the floor, gross, just gross. The Homeless person likely had AIDS and/ or Hepatitis. Did you know that your local Dollar Tree employees are required to clean those bathrooms? With no protective gear, no less. So again I ask the question, why do Dollar Tree stores have public restrooms?
I love the Sullivan store. The only thing is, there is an employee named Jessica Teel. She is a cashier but she is training the merchant manager Gina how to do things as a merchant manager but Jessica only receives cashier pay. She applied for the position but was told that she had a misdemeanor in 2021 so she couldn't have the position. It's not fair to her to be doing the work of a merchant manager but can't actually get the position. Now she has to train everyone in the store how to stock. The DM says she can't doing anything about it but couldn't someone higher up look into the situation? Thank you for your time. Excellent store.
I recently bought a carton of Allen’s Cranberry Cocktail Juice, that contained, mentrual blood!!!. Yes!. You heard me right, with the blood clot and some kind of paper, or membrane, also in the container. I took pictures of it. I had bought this product, recently, from a Dollartree store, at 1224 Dundas Street, in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and their response, since I had also contacted them about this, (Which they also witnessed, for themselves), was less than receptive. I am going to sue both Dollartree and Lassonde, a Canadian owned company. I have not contacted, the owner of Allen's Cranberry Cocktail Juice, as yet, Dollartree's response, was disgusting. They refused, to do a recall and to take the remaining, boxes of cranberry juices, off of the shelf, at the store. I was so f--k--g traumatized, it's not even funny. Avoid buying any kind of juices, or food products, at Dollartree, stores. And also since this is a Lassonde's product, avoid their food products, especially cranberry juices and other kinds of juices, as well. You will end up drinking, menstrual blood, that is contained, in their products.
As I was checking out, I always try to do exact change. So I laid a $20 on the cashier's counter and searched for the change. As I got it, I put it on the $20 bill. He looked at it on HIS counter and said "out of respect to you, you must place it in my hand." Are you kidding. It was right there on HIS counter and he refused to pick it up. A manager/supervisor walked by and I asked her is he kidding. She looked at him, shook her head, looked down and walked on. He actually refused to take the money off his his counter and made me repick up the money and place it in his hand.
The manager and corporate office in Corpus Christi, Texas have no professionalism when dealing with REAL customer complaints. They side with their incompetent manager in the Morningside Square. I was sent an email from DOLLAR TREE stating my package was ready for pick up. I went to pick it up and I was told nothing came in. I reported a missing package, which was ordered online and delivered to this store. The manager made every excuse to not meet with me because, " he wanted me to just go away" to buy him more time to think of an excuse of what happened to my items which DOLLAR TREE had already debited out of my account.
The store is no longer Dollar Tree, less $1.25 items then ever. Dollar Tree plus worked, but this multi dollar tree does not. Far less room on the shelf for $1.25 bargain deals, the employee's are miserable with less hours. They (the employees) say it's because there's no room on the shelves to put anything.
I went into the Dollar Tree in to grab a few things on my way home as soon as I walked in the front door, I heard the Store Manager belittling an employee right in the isle in front of other customers, and his fellow co-workers. This isn't the first time I have been in there and heard this store manager yelling or cussing at employees over who knows what. I have worked in the service industry for a lot of years, and I have learned that if you're going to yell and scream at employees do it behind closed doors don't do it in front of customers or fellow employees.
Went to Dollar tree in Pequannock Street In Bridgeport, the cashier was telling a customer that she was close, but she was very rude after the customer left and did his own self check out. She was standing in the front the self checkout speaking very loud about the customer that just left and cursing so that everyone can hear her.(Calling the customers in general all types of names. I thought that was very, very unprofessional. If she has to speak like that in front of customers she should not be working for your business. I will not be returning back again to think I go every week
I can tell you what went wrong... THE MANAGER AROUND 3:00 CLAIMS THAT SHE IS A manager ha... she was rude disrespectful couldn't get her name what so ever but so rude to me infront of my kids which I don't teach my kids to be mean to others or disrespectful at all.. but to ack out like that is not ok and this store I was at was in Fairfield area... lost a customer for sure
Dollar tree in bell gardens Valeria didn’t let me use the restroom. And they look down on u. This is horrible every time this happens I’m diabetic I need to go and they are always mean and rude
Very poor customer service. Two workers were rude and disrespectful, making rude comments about a customer that could be heard by the customer and other customers. I have never witnessed such disregard for common courtesies in customer service. The discounted price qt this store is not worth what customers have to deal with from the employees for this company. Store #45913137 Peach Orchard Rd.Augusta GA, 30906-3520 US706-739-6792
I went in there today around 7pm , I forgot my bag there and asked if they can look at the cameras or check for my receipt and they said to call back and told me when I called back that that couldn’t search the cameras and also the receipt couldn’t be found and I’d have to wait till Monday , if it was something important that I really needed it wouldn’t of mattered . I think you need better staff or need to train staff especially managers correctly . I am so unsatisfied.. really upset .
I placed an order with Dollar Tree and most of the items were out of stock. I got a call informing me of this and canceled my order. On the call I was assured I would be refunded my money.Dollar Tree charged $15 to my credit card. I called Dollar Tree requesting my money back. They told me that I had to call instacart for my refund. my bank transaction merchant says Dollar Tree and provided the contact number. The customer service agent was of no help an would not refund my money. Dollar Tree is a scam. They DO NOT care about their customers. Save your time and money and go to a reputable place where customers concerns are heard!
Your brand-new Dollar tree at 1502 West Chester pike West Chester, Pa This new store is going to run down hill fast because of this manager. register guy is talking on his ear buds on personal calls, no hello, Have a nice day nothing just busy talking on his hidden earbuds on company time. The Manger is just as bad as him Store shelves are not full etc...etc....Never again will I shop at this location again I will let others know He can't even remember to hand you your bag.

“Store cashiers are bossy and rude”
Cashier swore at me and was bossy with every customer in line, reprimanding everyone for placing the greeting cards upside down and placing the conveyor separator in the wrong place. Falsely accused me of swearing at her to put me on the defensive for her actions, however as mentioned, she actually swore at me. Argued and talked back with rudeness. Manager was not supportive and made excuses for her
“Menstrual Blood, in Dollar Tree Product: The, Allen's Cranberry Cocktail Juice.”
I recently bought a carton of Allen's Cranberry Cocktail Juice, that contained, mentrual blood!. Yes!. You heard me right, with the blood clot and some kind of paper, or membrane, also in the container. I took pictures of it. I had bought this product, recently, from a Dollar Tree Canada's store, at 1224 Dundas Street, in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and their response, since I had also contacted them about this, (Which they also witnessed, for themselves), was less than receptive. “Dollar Tree in Costa Mesa Fairview Road”
Lulu is the manager and she has been for quite some time. I shop there on a daily basis and even more frequently since the closing of the 99 cent store. I was just in the store this morning and Lulu was chatting with some of the workers who were at the register buying some products for themselves there were about four or five people in front of me and they kept on chatting 5 to 7 later they just kept chatting being disrespectful for the customers in the line. This isn't the first time that this happened as I have had the same experience dozens of times and she acts like the world revolves around her and I have also seen other people do the same thing as myself as they were frustrated and feeling disrespected. She is one of the worst managers in that respect I have ever seen and I have had conversations with her before and she is aware of these issues but does nothing. I have already called corporate to complain but they are often a joke themselves in overseeing the stores and the managers. I was charging my cell phone or I would have taken pictures and video to document the lack of respect for the customers that were waiting in line. If she worked for me I would fire her as her attitude is very poor and she repeatedly disregards what's in the best interest of the customers. And furthermore she does not properly train other workers when there is a line at the cash register I've seen 7 to 10 people in line and no one calls for backup. All you need to do is go to the store once or twice and you will see exactly what I'm talking about and ultimately she is costing Dollar Tree money by irritating and annoying customers like myself. All I want to do is get what I need and check out and not have to put up with a ridiculous drama and waiting repeatedly because she is not a good manager.
“Dollar Tree Facility = 2019 Sebastopol Road, Santa Rosa, Calif. 95407 (Store Number 2162)”
Kate really happens to be all in all rude, pushy, frigid, cynical, arrogant, obnoxious and irritating as far as branch manager that openly makes you feel like a gigantic nuisance and i will never come back to dollar tree facility being located as far as roseland community with regard to santa rosie all in all generally through northern california Service Quality
“RETURN POLICY”
I purchased $200.00 worth of artificial flowers for my sons wedding and the bride decided she wanted to go with fresh flowers instead. Only 2 weeks later I contacted the customer service department for directions on returning the flowers and was told that ALL Dollar Tree purchases were final. I told them that their website clearly stated that refunds with receipt and tags on product could be refunded. Representative just kept repeating "sorry for the inconvenience"! Wow how can you get away with giving false return policy information on a website. I was robbed 200.00 and now im stuck with 200 artificial flowers! Horrible! People beware. They are thieves. Service Returns
“Exceeded expectations”
Admittedly, I was hesitant ordering from the Dollar Tree especially with an item that has a "Best Buy" date but my purchase turned out to be a pleasant experience with savings. Quicker delivery than expected and no issues or delays when picking up and as far the best date, more than 2 years away. What I bought is fresh. Products used:Necco candy wafers Service Value Quality
“Dollar Tree of Money”
For a $1.25 (plus sales tax) you get what you want. Decent new stuff in packaging that is more of a puzzle then filling up a Dollar Tree basket. Bring your own sturdy bag, cuz their bags are useless.
“Prices and returns”
Dollar tree not only raised their prices, but also reduced the sizes of their packages. Also, don't try to make a return, even with a receipt, it seldom is taken. They have pretty much lost my business. I can get the same items at other stores for less now anyway. With better service Tip for consumers:They seldom take returns, even with a receipt, even though they say they will Products used:Paper goods Service Value Returns
“Great prices and customer service”
Needed a candle, but only had $6.50. After trying CVS, went to dollar tree with low expectations. Turns out, I could've bought at least three candles with that amount. Three vs. Zero. Wow! Also was out of there in less than 5 minutes despite never being in a dollar tree before and not knowing my way around, all thanks to exceptional customer service. Very attentive and super nice too. Tip for consumers:Don't be afraid to ask if you need help finding what your looking for! Products used:Candle Service Value Quality
“DollarTree is now $1.25 Tree in Rockford Illinois”
Without warning, Dollar Tree in Rockford, Illinois, (whose items were all $1 or less), has switched to $1.25 per item. I understand that "inflation" is around 5-6% but this is a 25% increase! I think this is taking advantage of a bad situation,,, and making it worse. I will still shop there,,, but not as much, and not as often.
“Totally unsatisfied”
Ordered 4 simple glass candlesticks. They gave us no correspondence. When finally talked to someone order was never shipped out for the longest time. Got the candlesticks long overdue and the were all broken. Stay away from them not worth the trouble
“25 percent price increases, will boycott”
With Dollar Tree increasing their prices by a flat 25 percent I will no longer shop there. Many of their products already have greatly reduced quantities for the same price of one dollar. What's wrong with a 5 or 10 percent increase not jump to. 25 percent. We all would like a 25 percent increase in our income, which is unrealistic, except for them. If you do the math you can buy smarter at Aldi's, Walmart and other discount stores. Do not support this greedy corporation! Service Value Quality
“Buyers beware. Paid money, no product.”
An order placed 5/21/23, order ready for pickup 6/8/23, but after speaking to the manager the product wasn't. An hour's time, gas, fighting the traffic etc, and showing the manager the email... Furthermore, her attitude-- "you should have called it's your problem and corporate's," call them, isn't good customer service. Calling corporate for a supervisor didn't result either, the entire group with little care. They have my payment money but won't provide the product. Insulated supervisor doesn't cut it either. They've forgotten I'm the customer, not them. We, as a customer deserve the product because we paid for it! On to legal battles to get the money returned. So much for this store. Tip for consumers:Buyer beware! This manager at this store simply didn't care, the product was said to be there, spent the time about an hour getting there and back, special trip, gas and wear and tear on the vehicle, plus time. Really didn't care. Also takes 3-5 business days to get a refund, which I'm unsure if this will happen. Attempted to talk to a supervisor, but of course they are insulated and won't answer the telephone. Can't complain to their corporate, they are totally out of bounds. SAD Products used:none. They say refund, we'll see. Service Value Shipping Returns Quality
“Wow! Just Wow!”
Dollar General in Napoleon MI. I have been treated rudely for the last time from employees at this location. If you hate your job so much that you take it out on the customers then please, get a new job. I don't know who Mark is however he needs to check his employees. Maybe a quick lesson in customer service. Thank you for your time and consideration.
“Horrible management skills, 40th w 4700 s”
Visited at 12:15. Store was an absolute wreck but that's not out of the ordinary, this older lady named Dianna was checking us out. Definitely confused and struggling. She was stubborn and didn't want my help in counting for the total, which is fine, not my job. When Sue asked for help from the manager lady, she was absolutely rude, impatient, and spoke down to Dianna, saying "you can count change right Dianna do you need help with that too" in a very rude and demeaning tone. I was blown away this type of crap is happening in this day and age and definitely won't be back to this store anytime soon Tip for consumers:The manager was an absolute $#*! and spoke down to a stressed out struggling old lady. Absolutely uncalled for in ANY work environment. Products used:Kids toys, hobby craft items Service Value Quality
“Watch your receipt”
WATCH your receipt at Dollar Tree and the items scanned. Even though Dollar Tree increased its prices to $1.25 I was willing to continue being a patron. However, the last visit at dollar tree was finalized when I was charged $2.14 for an item I did not purchase. I called the store to speak with the manager on staff. This rude man hung up on me before I finished a full statement. All I was able to get out was "My receipt shows an over" then click, he hung up. I called back thinking it was an error and was hung up on again. I called the corporate office and left several messages, but no response. I was in the area on the date of purchase, but I live 15 miles away. This business employs some of the rudest people to manage their stores. I was a regular customer, but not anymore, besides, Dollar General still has $1.00 items I normally purchase.
“COVID 19 Covering”
Visiting family in Cabot AR. The cashier, she was wearing the mask with the nose uncovered all the time and talking to the customers that way. There is no one enforcing wearing masks, so another customer was in line wearing her mask covering only her mouth. Please, Dollar Tree spend some time training your employees. It is not enough with the many educational campaigns on TV, radio, internet, seems like they do not listen.
“Terrible Customer Service”
The Lebanon, Indiana DT is horrible in so many ways - the store is messy and dirty with merchandise boxes spread all over the place. Went there today, 7 people waiting in the only open register, while four store employees were standing outside having a smoke. They never take note of how many people are in line while other employees are sorting merchandise and should be called up front to ease the crowd.
“Sad”
I was very sad to enter the Manhattan, KS store to hear an employee complaining about her work with a four letter word every few words. The store floor was dirty, shelves were empty on many aisles, and bathroom had very little toilet paper and trash cans were overflowing. If I could have gotten my items elsewhere, I would have gone there. And because of empty shelves I bought less items.
“25% price increases”
I have now stopped buying certain things at Dollar tree. They are no longer cost effective. Raising the prices by 25 cents equals a 25 % increase! This is too much! A 10% increase would have been okay. Please rethink this.
“Prices are going up at the dollar trees and since they're connected to the Family Dollar. Is this ra”
Dollar tree stores are connected Connected to family dollar I just wonder if Do you show the rat Infested products that came from Family Dollar stopush, they have a $3 $5 lane and now they have. Of course, the $20 five, which it may increase. I would be afraid to purchase any products out of their freezer area where the drinks are. Because they're off the nasty black and dirty. Products used:Cleaning products thanks for my kitchen my container's zip lock bags so for us
“Horrible Management”
I recently shopped at the Framingham Ma store. For one, the store is a disaster. Second the manager on duty could not care to lift his head from his phone. Call me old fashioned, but a manager should not be standing at a register texting. Instead of acknowledging me, he instead whipped my items into a bag and stated my total with an attitude. I honestly will not be back to that store. Very messy and very rude staff.
“Return of STALE dog biscuits”
I shop at Dollar Tree often, so I thought I would have no trouble returning dog biscuits that were stale. The clerk said she could accept merchandise that had been opened. How would we know they were bad if we had not opened them for use? She reluctantly gave me credit. I purchased one item equal to the credit I received and left. I proceeded to go to family dollar where I was able to purchase all the fresh QUALITY food items my pet requires. The clerk was rude and acted like she was doing me a favor for giving me credit for unacceptable pet food. I will never shop at Dollar Tree again. No stars. Tip for consumers:Dont expect Dollar Tree to back the quality of their merchandise. Products used:I purchased scrub pads to equal my credit. I was going to purchase numerous items, but after my experience with the rude store clerk, I left. Service Value Returns Quality
“35th so. 35th w. Store”
The Manager of that store should be demoted. They had 1 line open for 10 people, a man went and asked the Manager if she would open another lane she told him NO. What kind of Manager doe's that, we'll 4 of use dropped our stuff right there and left. Not cool Tip for consumers:Just don’t use that store. Manager not decent Products used:Read comment
“Getting Rid of good workers”
The Dollar Tree ******* is the nastiest store I ever been in! The manager is rude and racist! The assistant manager at night was the only one I seen clean shelves, mop and keep the rear rooms cleans, she works by herself and she has excellent customer service but they ran her away! Now the store is nasty freezer was not working and I heard they had bed bugs in the back! Stop getting rid of quality workers who care about how the store looks and the customers Service Value Shipping Returns Quality

Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies this service works and is trustworthy. It costs only $6.49/month but is worth the cost. U.S., UK, EU, Swiss, and Canadian residents only. Click below.
