He is an expert on the inside and outside of every game and console ever made. He is in charge of the refurbishing process and quality control of every item here at DKOldies. We try to solve your problems before you have them and if a problem does arrive, we will do anything to solve it, so it never happens again for you and anyone else.\\r\\nHow DKOldies Started\\r\\nI\\\'ve been playing games since before I can remember. I loved video games, arcade games and would think about them non-stop. Their digital worlds were so vast and the video game scene felt like an underground rebellion. When I was 13, I started working at an arcade. I loved the old machines! The arcade I worked at was only in business a short time because video games as we know them today were rapidly taking over.\\r\\nI then got another job at the age of 15 at a local comic book/baseball card store. I loved it and worked there over the next 6 years, learning how to run a retail store. There I also learned what customers wanted and how they wanted to be treated. I loved old collectibles and understood why they were so important to our customers. That store was really amazing. It had old sealed packs of cards from the 70\\\'s, every old comic book you could think of and it had a real family atmosphere that made everyone feel welcome.  The owner of that store sold the business in the late 90\\\'s to Electronic Boutique and it went out of business a few years later. I quickly learned how differently a family owned business operated compared to a big corporation. And, I felt a lot of quality customer service was lost under the corporate model.\\r\\nIn the early 2000\\\'s I began selling old NES games online. It felt like I was working at the comic book shop again, and personally helping people complete their collections. I immediately started buying and selling old games, using everything I had learned from my earlier work experience. I started up a warehouse in my basement, and soon had to hire my retired father just to keep up with my growing business. DKOldies has only grown bigger over the last 14+ years through our website, by appealing not only to the hard core video gamer, but also the rest of us who just want to go back to experience and share some of their favorite memories from when they were young. We’ve heard what our customers liked and didn\\\'t like about their experiences, and worked to constantly improve our services. \\r\\nDKOldies.com is a site made for the modern day, but built on the original principles I learned working for brick and mortar businesses. All have all helped out at the office and have been learning more and more about what we do here.\\r\\n\\r\\nDrew, Kate, Grace, Bailey, and Reese\\r\\nAs the business grew, I moved from my upstairs bedroom, to my basement, to our 2000 sq ft office/warehoue in Honey Brook, and now to our 9000+ sq ft warehouse in Morgantown, PA. This transition could not have happened without our Operations Manager, Scott. Scott and I met when he moved on my street when I was in 3rd grade. There is a lot of work to do, like repairing, cleaning, shipping, phone calls, emails, and loads of other things. Our Shipping & Service Manager is Joey and you have probably talked to him on the phone if you have ever called. Ash is our SYG Associate and is quickly taking on more and more.
