Is dittomusic.com Legit?

My friend made over 3k in dollars from Ditto, however, they decided to deduct all of it putting her on a negative balance with the reasoning of someone buying her streams. This is very unfair, and as an up and coming artist this is very discouraging. She is not in control if someone decided to willingly purchase streams. She is now owed a lot of money from Ditto:(

All great however the only area of concern is that on each release we seemingly have to chase up the delivery to stores as wasn't approved to be there 7 days before release, ie as required by spotify editorial playlist pitching rules. So if you are wanting to pitch to spotify make sure you get it all uploaded several weeks/months in advance. However each time I did chase up they resolved the issue very quickly and always had it in store in time (so far). So the lesson is plan ahead but the customer service is excellent when needed to be called upon :-)

This company is an actual joke. As someone who has been using them for over 5 years, I cannot express how terrible they are.I have yet to have a single release met without massive issues. Whether they are simply not released or they mess up my tracks, the list goes on with problems I have had. Most recently, I had an entire album just disappear from all streaming platforms with no notice from Ditto. In fact, on their website, it says everything is fine. I have sent countless support tickets, written strongly-worded emails, and tried everything I can to get any amends from Ditto, but their customer service is a joke.They are set up in a way that makes it EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to leave them for another distributor, a process I have recently begun. I wish I could go back and never released with them in the first place.If you are reading this, don't fall for their pretty website and commercials. They have no reliability and will leave you high and dry.

The website is easy to use. Ditto is affordable and it is worth every penny. I would highly recommend to any up and coming artist who is looking to get their music on streaming platforms. Not only does it get your music on streaming platforms, they have a lot more benefits.

I’ve been using Ditto Music for a few months, and the platform works pretty well for uploading and distribution. It’s easy to upload music, and the system seems to function as it should. However, when it comes to payments, I am unfortunately disappointed.It took 2.5 months to receive my first payment, but now the funds are stuck because they "need to check the licenses" again—something I assumed was already done during the upload process. What concerns me the most is that customer service can’t provide a clear answer on when I’ll actually have access to my money. I have artists who are owed royalties, and I need predictability to manage this properly.If Ditto can sort out the payment process and make it more efficient, I’d be happy to update my review to reflect a more positive experience. I hope they can show that payments are not an issue, so users don’t have to wait endlessly for their funds. Predictability is key—for me and for the many artists relying on the service.

I recently moved my catalogue of music releases from my previous distributors. If you're an independent artist or label you can't beat the quality of service and pricing that Ditto offers. 5 Stars!

Great for new independent musicians to distribute tracks! Just released my very first two songs. My experience to plan ahead for the turn-around time of 10 days to release is smooth to me! The pre-save links are a little slow, and needed some babysitting so far.

Releases come out on the committed days, and the secure chat is friendly to use.

With me have been using Ditto for 3 months now I can say that it is such an amazing distributor and easy to use. I love how I have never gotten any problems with my releases unless I haven't fully complied to their rules. They always make sure to send an email notifying me about everything that is essential to progressing my artist career. With that have been said I feel at home when I'm using Ditto.

I asked them to cancel my free subscription and delete my account. So far none of this has been done. I'm afraid I will be charged on their scheduled date despite 1. Contact them twice not to distribute with them; 2. Took everything down; 3. Remove them from recurring payments.Just now I received smartlinks of my took-down tracks when I thought I had no business with them.PS: I will edit this review for worse or better depending on how they proceed, so far nothing good.

They are the best distributor by FAR! One annual purchase gets you UNLIMITED releases. Any time I've needed customer support they were there resolving the issue while consistently being helpful and professional. I'll be supporting DITTO forever! Thanks Team DITTO.

As a retired singer songwriter with lots of songs I recorded many years ago It's great to discover Ditto .Knowing somewhere out there someone at long last is listening to my songs . I recently even got some Royalties . Very happy so far with Ditto

It was not easy to decide which distributor to work with. The primary reason I chose Ditto Music, besides its industry experience and 200 outlets, was its support options. They really do offer 24x7, and you get a response within hours. I read horror stories from musicians about their releases being messed up and no response from their distributor. I am going through that now with an older release from 2013. It's been 4 weeks and no response. Unacceptable! While none of the distributors are perfect, as no business is, Ditto released my music fast, and when we had issues with artwork, It got fixed and updated across all the platforms in a timely manner with communication. My only criticism was that there were too many people working on it. Wow, isn't that refreshing compared to my prior example? This was my first release in many years, so a bit of a learning curve. Now I know how easy and efficient it is working with Ditto, and I look forward to our next release.

The Ditto team are excellent to deal with and extremely helpful in getting your release out to all of the music platforms that matter. I would highly recommend them to get your release out smoothly without issue.
