diageo.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives diageo.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 89. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 89 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to diageo.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Authentic. Trustworthy. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a secure website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning diageo.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between diageo.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of diageo.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of diageo.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. diageo.com is an authentic, safe website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether diageo.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether diageo.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, diageo.com.

The whisky they sell is indeed great stuff but it is overpriced, watered down to 40%, chill-filtered, coloured and sold in unnecessary fancy packaging. A good example of this is the new Mortlach range soon to hit the shelves. Whisky in my opinion should be sold the way it comes out the cask, not turned into a mass produced product.
Absolutely ridiculous the whole UK on trade cannot get Guinness glasses to serve their product!! Also limited to 12 glasses per outlet pathetic. When you have to charge for a premium beer you must have the correct glassware to pour it in. To the customer it is the venue that gives a bad impression.Sort it out now!!
Diagio has ruined the famous brands All reduced in strenghtThe following should be 40% or aboveThe following has been weak for yearsGordon’s GinBacardi RumCaptain Morgan’s RumSmirnoff VodkaThe other joke is the flavoured rums are only 35% and other spirits are even less.
We thought we would try Guinness 0.0. We purchased a pack of 10 & whilst we enjoyed several cans. We encountered one can that was full of mouldy / yeasty lumps. We took photographs before disposing of the vomit inducing liquid. We sent a copy of the photos to Diageo / Guinness who advised that they can not process the complaint without receiving the packaging all of the products & the lumpy revolting liquid that should have been a beautiful can of Guinness. As I had not retained the open can, refilled it & sent back, my complaint had no validity as far as they were concerned.Good Luck if you buy 0.0 make sure you keep the lumpy liquid before complaining & sending back to the lovely Victoria in customer relations.
I purchased 8 pack of Guinness and 5 of the cans were flat when poured. I send in pictures of batch codes time of production. After many emails, I have received a 5 Euro voucher in post. I find this shocking since that would not even compensate for 2 cans. I found the customer service terrible after I took the time and effort to highlight this issue. One I have experienced before but not to the extent of 5 cans out of 8 affected.
Complaint regarding a faulty Haig Club bottle of whisky. As expected they found nothing wrong with it, even though the colour was too dark and it actually stung my mouth and throat. Then to make matters worse the stupid person dealing with my complaint thought that replacing the bottle was a goodwill gesture. They couldn't care less, they are so big and of course profits are very healthy they don't give a toss about individuals. Customer Service Ha! They don't know the meaning. A company built on bull****
Terrible for dealing with issues and complaints. when you raise a query its closed in hours with the usual line its been passed on to the relevant people, still waiting folks. The rep is like the scarlet pimpernel never hear from him and when he does show its when know 1 is in the office he runs in takes a pic and out as quick. Being a free house doesn't suit diageo as they can not dictate what we sell.
I’m a regular Guinness draft drinker and I think it’s a fab product. The other day I purchased an 8 pack of draft cans, and while unpacking one of the cans exploded on the counter - never saw this before. So I took a couple of pictures and sent them off the Diageo cst. I took the empties including the damaged can to the bring centre the following day as it was very sharp. (Probably in hindsight I should have kept it). Anyway after many emails (it was obvious they didn’t read the first - nor did they look at the photos) the customer service agent decided they would not proceed with the case. How disappointing- such a big company and I’m a loyal customer! Maybe I’ll switch to Beamish - my father swears by it.
Singleton whisky bottle cork crumbled and broke when opening, Amazon wouldn’t replace. Distiller fobbed me off saying they would send a replacement cork! if I could remove it, cork broke up and pieces fell into the bottle. Poor service
Useless, no customer support. I'm stuck with a defunct diageo cocktail machine and been requesting Pimms jugs and help since last year. I might just rid myself of all diageo products from my bar.
Lacking customer consideration and support.
Scandalous disregards for their customers. For many people the Talisker 18 year old malt whisky is their favourite. I used to be a great fan of this. But Diageo have just decided to put the price up by a disgraceful 120%. So it’s now £180 instead of £80.Old long terms customers like me, they are saying. Can go and swivel, we don’t care, pay up or get lost.Truly shocking way they treat us.
Had bought two tanqueray blackcurrant royale gin with free glasses in a box, when I got home took them out discovered one of them was chipped, contacted them over this and they wanted photo proof of the said glass and I replied thrown it away, it is now 4 months since and still waiting for it to be resolved, SHOCKING!!!!
The installation was terrible as Diageo used outside contractors left rubbish everywhere no staff training as the fitter didn’t know how to use machine when complained to area manager he was useless and rude machine started smoking in June 2023 Diageo no help stuck with £700 worth of products can’t be used for only the machine
Diageo are an extremely large drink suppliers whose brands include Guinness and in my case specifically Guinness 0.0 alcohol free. For many weeks now they have claimed that the product is available following a withdrawal of the product due to contamination. This is NOT the case, i have been unable to purchase this from any of the leading supermarkets or online. I have contacted Diageo who have given no real reason for this problem and for all intents and purposes have been pretending that distribution has been fine. I have spoken to many of the managers of these large outlets who have agreed that usually their own systems will give some idea as to why and when the product will be available but in this case their information from Diageo is sketchy to say the least. I have continued to challenge Diageo but they have now started blanking my enquiries. I have suggested to them that they are probably not being as transparent or fair to its customers and outlets as it should. This blanking of my enquiries could possibly be seen as a deliberate attempt to avoid offering a truthful response as to why this product is still being held back ie: continued contamination issues? I have contacted the outlets main hubs so as to ascertain if this is a national issue which although my enquiries have not been exhaustive it does appear to be across the country. It has also been suggested that the issue might stem from the on going transport problems the UK is experiencing. If that is the case how come the shelves are still fully stocked with all the original Guinness products ? Diageo have suggested that the sales have outstripped demand, my argument to that is it is highly unlikely in fact almost impossible that the demigraph of alcohol free drinkers outstrips the alcohol drinkers and even if this were the case then Guinness should and would up production to maximise sales and profits. It is not right that a retail outlet can claim a product is available when it is not. Just by placing four cans on a supermarkets shelves does not constitute a product as available and it is time i was offered a reasonable and thorough explanation aswell as a consistent and reliable supply of the product and a guarantee that someone in my immediate area will have the product of which some will be reserved for me so that i am no longer spending hours trying to track down a product that clearly isn't as available as Diageo are suggesting.
Should hire the personnel instead of using criminal outsourcing companies such as "CPM international contact centre" which underpay, exploit and mob the workers!
Excellent service! Love them.
Lacking customer consideration and support

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
