desjardins.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives desjardins.com the absolute highest trust score on the platform: 100. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Safe. Secure. . We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this very high score? We came up with the 100 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to desjardins.com's industry. The algorithm detected no high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Safe. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we label this website as secure and trustworthy. We explain this in more detail below.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning desjardins.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between desjardins.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of desjardins.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of desjardins.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. desjardins.com is a secure website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether desjardins.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether desjardins.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, desjardins.com.

This company raped 86 & 90 year old customers for 1,000's of dollars for years. So when they found double the coverage (2 million instead of 1 million) with $500 deductibles instead of $5000 for HALF THE PRICE ($2500 instead of $6200) at another company, Desjardin charged them $750 for 12 DAYS COVERAGE AND A CANCELLATION FEE (which at their advanced age they were not aware they needed to do as no payment was yet made). When Travis Cairns Desjardin Agent was asked to produce a signed document proving that they had indeed agreed to such an enormous cancellation fee (if any), they did not provide one instead just sent a bill. Beware of these money hungry gougers who prey on the elderly!!! They can not be trusted. For 14 years (from 2006 to 2020) their bill went up (and even down) ranging from $3000 to $3600 with STATE FARM INSURANCE... then in 2020 without asking they were switched to Desjardin where their coverage INCREASED YEARLY FROM $3600->$4400->$5100->$5800->$6200... ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! STOP RAPING THE VUNERABLE!! IT'S CRIMINAL!!
Desjardin Petline is by far the worst insurance company to deal with in pet insurance. They do not act in good business faith, they will find anyway to void claims, mislead on phone calls and cite fine print as their justification. DO NOT recommend at all.
I can't say for sure if this has started since they took over State Farm, but Dejarden is milking people for every $ they can.... terrible.I have cars and home under their umbrella, not a single accident or ticket and my premium keeps on going up every 3-4 months that is so wrong. To give you bulk idea why I feel that we ALL being milked for every $. Last year at this time I was paying roughly $130 less a month and when I call them, they are giving me excuses that upon policy renewal things going up.... what? D I already know it's going up, otherwise I wouldn't be calling, why my premium keeps on climbing every 2-3 months by so much......silence. After 30 years of being with State Farm I am in search for more reasonable insurance.
Stay away they con you into a police thst if something happened you not covered. And how go they do that by saying I can make your insurance cheaper and lie on how they do it . Brian Wright burlington screwed me over . And even worse if my wife got into a accident she would not be covered because I was put as owner of both cars and she occasional driver when in fact her car was in her name and the primary driver but he had changed it so I was and we would be screwed if she got into a accident.
Don't waste your time with this insurance company , it would take you forever to get a reply & mostly they used wordings in your policy that only a pro can understand.
I had a real estate transaction through them involving 3 properties when they explained what they did they just confused me and stole 48 thousand dollars
Desjardins is the worst company had them for ten years never used my insurance till a lady hit me. Come to find out this company is the worst to deal with. Took over 2 months to get my truck into a shop they picked!!! Happen in February and it's now July still waiting to be reimbursed for tow. Save your time and money find a company that cares this one only take vacation with your money
Desjardin is thief bank!!! I paid interest on my mortgage. On top they charged me interest of 2300 per month. Which is private lender rate. When I called to asked based on what terms I got no response.
Insurance Provider through work. The worst coverage “EVER” 😡I have paid my physiotherapist over $4000 for treatments….complete run around by this company.Refusing to pay for my treatments to get back to normal & work after my surgery. Gone as far as to actual say that the payments were returned in the mail to them.Condescending attitudes over the phone from 20 something twits with absolutely no clue what they are doing nor saying.😡😡😡😡
After taking over State Farm rates skyrocketed and service plummeted! I finally made the decision to cancel. Agents and staff are horrible! Never give a straight answer- continually talk in circles and NEVER answer the phone. No matter what your inquiry is they constantly try to upsell unnecessary additional coverages. Billing - Condescending and talk over you. Repeat same thing over and over.Cancellation penalties are high. One little positive - Several years ago a claim was made and claims was helpful.Shop around!!!!!
If you are buying this insurance thinking you have a piece of mind in the instance you may have a claim - you will be very sadly mistaken. They have zero interest in paying you for any accident benefits , income replacement , out of pocket expenses . It is so bad when I ask for things I am surprised at this point they haven’t asked me to go to my long deceased grandmother for money - because they will ask you to go to anyone except them for the coverage YOU HAVE PAID FOR. And it doesn’t matter if you were not at fault. You will be in the deficit and out of pocket. Also - you will need a lawyer. Not because claims are difficult. They aren’t. They make them twisted , convoluted , drawn out - severely impeding recovery instead of helping. I cannot say enough negative things about Desjardins. They are a huge fraud equivalent to the mafia and need to be investigated for illegal behaviour. Currently shopping around. In short - I despise Desjardins. They’re a joke and a big harm to the Canadian unsuspecting public. You have been warned
Wonderful experience, my sister works there and she says they are awesome. You are not kept on hold for hours like some companies. They bought out State Farm Insurance and my sister says what a difference (in a good way). I have life insurance, benefits from them and have found their customer service is awesome. Highly recommend. Might switch my banking over to them too heard they are pretty good at finance!
They will never pay you, they are making sure you are going in circle with their demand, and when you fulfill every demand, they start forgetting or losing paperwork you already sent, just to wear your patience off and make sure you will abandoned at some point. They are the worst thief I've seen in my life, Desjardins and Paypal. two scammy companies.
Absolutely Fu@king Unacceptable! Worse customer service.....No Excuses....How they cannot apparently put or Add HSBC to there payee list for Desjardins financement..... If they were as reputable as they claim .... Explain to me how it's impossible to add a f@king Global Bank to a payee list... they just wanna rape the customer to profiteer Max interest..... Absolutely 💯 Do Not take a loan out from this SHAM
This company should be considered a big thief. they took money from me for years, but at the time of the claim, despite receiving all the documents, they did not give me anything. Please do not listen to the slogans of this company. Don't waste your money. They took money from me for 14 years without any responsibility at the time of payment. shame on Desjardins!
I just want to say that I have been on a long term disability leave for the first time in my life. My employer uses Desjardins for these situations and I honestly did not know when I was going to return to work. I needed to figure out what my issue was and once I had felt better from my illness I was able to return to work. During the time off. I was promised that I would have insurance to cover some of my lost wages and I needed an extensive documents filled from my family Dr. Once that they were filled and honestly there was a lot of back an fourth with Desjardins, my family Dr and myself. They had rejected my claim. The reason, IT WAS 4 DAYS LATE. I have no control to how long my dr will take to fill out pages of paper work. It usually takes at least a week to see a Dr and they are busy enough. After writing an explanation for Desjardins. I had received a phone call that my application was denied. Thats It.I am out 3-4 months worth of pay and I will Have to struggle for at least the next year to recover from this. I am disappointed. I will never recommend Desjardins to anyone and I will personally boycott their services for the rest of my life. Thats a promise. I know I am one person. But I will be relentless to make sure that I have others not do business with this shady company.
Representatives will harass you to subscribe to their services "au nom du peuple québécois", even call you to ask why you're dealing with other banks like a jealous ex. Because their interests are better, they leave me tf alone and usually notice me when the interests change drastically? I only ever get ripped off from them, deal with other banks whenever you can.
If I could negative stars I would. Good luck getting any of your bonus dollars out of their program. Their "agents" just direct you to an email and the response to any emails is to just phone their customer services numbers (which redirects back to the email). Someone will tell you a supervisor will call within 24-48 hours but you will never get a call. Long story short, you'll never get your bonus dollars out of them. Would not recommend, the worst customer services experience I've ever had.
If it pas possible to put no star that would be my first Choice. The list of what goes wrong woth this Company is far too long for a online review. Highest turnover on the Market which means in 2 years your conseiller can change multiple times without any notice; no phone transfert to the replacement; not even an Access. to your sick counselor emails; mortgage is slow to process; rules and conditions Will change without you ever knowing it. Incompetent people unable to answer questions; lack of transparency and zero communication between personel: you have tome ready to repeat your story from A to Z each time you are transfert..... Avoid at all costs. You Will simply be angry all the time
Very helpful. Especially their agents at "40 Wynford Dr. Unit 205, North York, ON M3C 1J5". Extremely satisfied with their services. They have been very professional and always considerate.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a

fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
