demeridian.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives demeridian.com a medium trust score on the platform: 58.9. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Active. Medium-Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 58.9 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to demeridian.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Active. Medium-Risk. tags above. Long story short, we still see some red flags with this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning demeridian.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between demeridian.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of demeridian.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of demeridian.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. demeridian.com is a problematic website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether demeridian.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether demeridian.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, demeridian.com.

A wonder experiences was all the help I got from the team.very good and Great experience.
I just bought the loyalty card today and I'm scared if it's really a scam.
My experience with De Meridian has been nothing short of disappointing, and despite my efforts to resolve issues amicably, the company has failed to provide a reasonable decision regarding my refund request since November 7.Contract Violations:* Delay in Welcome Kit Email: The company misspelled my email address, preventing me from receiving the Welcome Kit within the specified 48 hours. Despite my spouse receiving the email, the contract clearly states that the "Subscriber" is a person, not a couple (I signed as the Subscriber during the enrollment). This oversight constitutes a breach of contract, as they failed to deliver on even the smallest details.* Non-receipt of Subscription Cards: Despite 15 working days passing since the payment date, the company failed to mail any subscription cards as outlined in the contract. The introduction of an E-CARD, not mentioned in prior communications, after my complaint further highlights their failure to fulfill contractual obligations.Claims:* EMI Plan: During the product presentation and initial customer service call, they assured us that someone from their bank partner would contact us to process our initial payment into an EMI plan, with reversal within 7 days. However, after raising a complaint, they falsely claimed that their bank partner had attempted to contact us, an assertion contradicted by our call logs. No evidence was presented from their side. We received communication from their bank partner 18th of Nov which was 9-10 working days post payment date and their bank partner claims we answered his call on the 14th of Nov which was incorrect.* Deceptive Website Customer Reviews: Investigation revealed that the customer reviews section on their website contained stock photos falsely portraying them as actual customers. Despite claiming these were user-generated, they refused to provide login credentials for verification. The website's HTML codes showed the photos were intricately coded, contradicting their claim of dynamic user-generated content.Despite clear contract violations and misleading claims, De Meridian continues to evade responsibility and refuses to issue a full refund. With these issues arising within the first month of our subscription, it's alarming to consider what else they might violate in the remaining three years of the contract. Sadly, they've lost our trust.Update - March 2024After 90 days of credit card dispute, we finally got our money back. Sharing this information to anyone who had same experience as ours.
I 'won' various prizes after eating a meal in a restaurant in Dubai. Two weeks later I received a call to tell me I had won a voucher for movie tickets/dinner cruise/desert safari, and a 3-4-night hotel break in India, Europe or the Far East. The person asked for my Emirates ID card number. This is NEVER given out to non-official sources as it is useful to scammers. I was told to come and collect the vouchers. Nothing was said about an appointment or bringing a spouse(typical ploy of timeshare companies so they can conduct the hard sell). I turned up yesterday. Finding them was half the issue: no map reference, the promised WhatsApp message never arrived, calls to the company revealed staff who were well trained in NOT giving out location details. Why? I found them and demanded the vouchers. First they said there were no staff - they have 99 phone lines, then there was another place - sure there is. That will be where they show their property portfolio in India(yes, this is an Indian company and I've had experience of their practices where marketing some grotty little resort is concerned so I am finely attuned). I said I was going to report them to the Dubai Economic Development Department who are excellent at dealing with rotten companies, if the vouchers were not handed over forthwith. Their lobby was crowded as they wheeled out different people, each one trying to impress their importance to no avail. The story was told and retold - all delaying tactics. If you get these vouchers: 1. You will not, as I was told, be able to take up to 4 people on any safari.2. For the hotel/resort stay - and you don't get to choose the hotel(It will be one of theirs) - you fork out more than £100 as a 'nominal services/municipality fee' when you book. Now, I have been to 103 countries. Not all countries have these fees. I have stayed in many that did not so this is a way of DeMeridian clawing in some money. Sneaky. There are all sorts of lockouts including weekends, Christmas, Eid(not celebrated in Europe) or New Year. Note: They are NOT affiliated to Le Meridian, the definitely 5-star chain of infinitely better quality. I know. I checked and they were pretty horrified people might think they are behind this shoddy set up.So If you are asked to 'Fill and win' and it says DE Meridian on the card, don't bother. This is a scheme to extract money from your wallet, especially if you are an expat and likely to have funds to sink into their shoddy schemes. Be warned.Update: They were clearly informed and a 'manager' called. She hadn't got the picture at all but was desperate to appease. What could she do? For a start, she needs to learn when to listen and when to shut up. She has this shocking habit of shouting over someone talking to her. Where does this come from? Bad manners? Bad upbringing? Or bad training? Having promised the hardworking staff a desert safari, I am paying to take them myself, but not through this shoddy set up.SECOND UPDATE FOLLOWING THEIR REPLY:Contrary to the claims of this shoddy outfit I have screenshots of my interactions with this 'company' and no amount of threat or prevarication will expunge those:1. The original 'winning' ticket no: 73331.2. Voucher 3206 for either movie tickets, desert safari or dhow cruise issued on 29 November at their office(2XX) in the Dubai XX Building, Al Garhoud.3. Hotel stay voucher No. 4261 issued on 29 November at the same offices noted above. This has my name clearly printed on the front.4. Record of telephone calls: - 24/11/23 at 1:58pm - 3 minutes(+ missed call of 3 seconds)- 29/11/23 at 12:36pm incoming call of 32 seconds from +971 50 XXXXXX9 - De Meridian mobile02/12/23 at 5.55pm incoming call from same number lasting 10 minutes followed by two missed calls incoming at 6.06pm and 6.07pm respectively.'...no record or recollection of your experience with us...' et al. My goodness! You have just proven yourselves to be even more disingenuous. This gives an excellent demonstration of the sort of head-in-the-sand nonsense one expects from shoddy operators. As for contacting your 'Boardline', the number does not connect hence the requirement to use the mobile. So I will sent you screen shots of the evidence you claim not to have but, give me a minute - I need to share the review update...20 June, 2024. Demeridian are now trying another more ingenuous(they think) way to get my review removed: pretend it wasn't their company I was reviewing and have Trustpilot remove it. No chance. 18 July, 2024: New tactics to try and avoid being recognised. So I've used widely approved means to 'disguise' your location and numbers. Why would you need to do that if you run an honest business one wonders?
Very good and excellent travel services
Nothing to say more than stay away from this scammer they are spreading in the malls and shopping areas collecting peoples informations first they will send you whatsup same mentioned in the picture that’s you won prize and you have to collect it and they deceive people that’s they are from meredian hotels or westen becasue they are renting meeting hall from aloft and the location mention meredian after you go they will tell you they are same company and you won 3 international night to any 4* hotel included breakfast and your travel hassle free just pack your luggage (they don’t have any hotel part of them) after they will tell you this offer only for one day (saying this world everyday to all the people) after that’s they start to bargain with you you can give any amount they will be agree after that’s becasue just they want to take money after when u will be agree you find that’s all what they told you deferent in the paper but they will explain it to you as per the way to convince you to sign after you signed don’t expect any service all your money will go and don’t believe the good comment becasue that’s people part of them to make good score.one more thing them trade license have stoped and not allowed for them to engage the activities
Great service, beautiful location. Will return.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
