Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between degussa-bank.de and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of degussa-bank.de. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of degussa-bank.de, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Degussa bank is a solid bank, I appreciate that I was able to open a bank account with them being rather new in Germany. One can have a main account + join account which is quite practical + a master card, which is more widely accepted in Germany than VISA. Degussa offers the master card for a reasonable yearly price. The number of branches of Degussa bank has certainly diminished in the last few years, but if a physical branch nearby is not strictly necessary for you it should be fine, as it is possible to find ATMs where one can withdraw money for free. In terms of suggestions for improvement, the app could be a bit better, e.g. there is no automatic notification for payments which would be quite helpful.
If I could give you a zero star rating Degussa, I certainly would. You managed to make the whole banking experience so ridiculously complicated that after 4.5 years of dealing with your rubbish, I am closing my account and moving to VR. What a mess you have made. Once you have registered a telephone number with them, God help you if you change that number. I cannot now pay my tax bill or the other 5 bills I needed to pay today. You told me to call you back to use the telephone banking, but didn't tell me you would charge me €2.50 per transaction. Go to hell. You just lost thousands in business from me. My savings and my healthy wage are moving elsewhere.
Setting up the account was difficult. They had problems sending things and communication was missing or unclear, so it took almost 3 months to actually open the account. Customer service and website/app are not good (20 years behind the times from a user experience perspective). Security protocols are cumbersome to set up and not easy to use. They charged me for their mistakes (and I had to fight to get the money back). And then they wouldn't give me the Welcome Bonus. And now it's difficult to close the account. They insist that I print out the account deletion form, sign it, go to the post office, buy a stamp and envelope, etc. When I opened the account I didn't have to print anything out or go to the post office, but now I cannot close using email (or via their website/app)? Give me a break! This bank is one of the worst I have ever dealt with.
Terrible bank, always make extra charges and give false information to clients. I had to use it due to a company credit card and they make it so complicated with so many different accounts and never explained it properly to me how it works so after some time it generated so many extra charges. After I had to pay all the charges I asked the clerk to close the account completely and I was told it's done. I haven't used the card for a year or so after that and now since I'm leaving the company i have double checked the status, and I surprisingly was told that all my accounts are open and since I haven't used them they charged me extra fees for having inactive accounts!!!! Don't trust them and never ever use it because you will lose so many money with them!
The front desk unbelievably non customer friendly! She also didn’t know in which office to send me! The office she told me to go aggressively wasn’t the right and the employees told me the right office to go! They don’t speak english of course but they also don’t help to talk to them in German! That’s a really tacky way of thinking! Of course I am changing banks cause not only that , but my account can go minus and multiplies day by day from -50€ to -150€ the next day! So the worst experience I have ever had! Too complicated to work with them and that is often what scams do!
Degussa bank is the worst bank I have ever had the displeasure of working with. My father passed away and more then two years ago and he had a savings and investment account with the degussa. My family and I have been trying to get information on his accounts but they only allow one online account holder than can't be changed, even after death! So any correspondence for instructions have to be mail-in. They are stuck in the previous century! Additionally, they seem incapable to have one costumer service provider to stick with our case so everytime we try to push or get in contact a whole new agent answers who seems to have no knowledge of any ongoing and we have the start the process again. We have also had to handover various translated documents and deal with local courts in Germany (we are Dutch) at the their request and spend money doing it, then to be told it actually wasn't needed! Massive money and time wasted. We even had to at some point attend at their offices next to BASF where my dad used to work, that was more then a year ago and still nothing. If you are reading this review looking for a bank, run the other way, these guys should go out of business as they are straight up charlatans. @Degussa, if you want to set something right, get in contact.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
