We came up with the 74.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to defensivedriving.com's industry. The algorithm detected a low risk for activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Standard. Valid. Common. tags above. Long story short, this site's trust score still warrants a little caution. Use common sense when using this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning defensivedriving.com, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between defensivedriving.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of defensivedriving.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of defensivedriving.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. defensivedriving.com is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether defensivedriving.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether defensivedriving.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, defensivedriving.com.
Online Reviews of defensivedriving.com
- Score: 2.8
Ordered driving record, got an error. Now I have to wait until Monday for it when it promised instant delivery. Quizzes are terrible, course is outdated
Complete rip off!! They charge $28 initially. After you spend hours and complete, you need to fork out another $25 for the certificate. Talk about theft
Totally scam, to download the certificate you need to pay additionally and there is no information on the site until you complete the course. Also, even for the course the price is only after you start registering. The videos have more than 30 years and experience is very bad.
- Score: 3.9 stars
“It's okay.”
The course is fast. The videos are good. The questions are not hard to answer. It's easy to navigate on the website. The program also offers your drivers record for a surcharge.
“You will have to jump through loopholes to get the credit.”
They will not reach out to you for verification. Only when you email them to complain they will respond to you very unprofessional place to do any business with. Service Value Quality
“Good Class”
Well done so far have two sections to go. It has been interesting and very professional. Possibly could use some updating concerning the use of navigation systems. Once section talks about planning with a Map.
“Defensive driving web video assessment”
Convenient, ok set up, videos were ok. For me some areas were slower to access but it could be my computer, a Windows 10. Great physics overview, articulation perfect from presenters re hosts and experts..
“Outdated video”
Defensive driving is not a class anyone takes for fun, but though watching the video, it appears most of the content with "hosts" and "interviews" were recorded some time around 2003. The clips of traffic looks potentially older than that. The quizzes are mostly common sense, so, good there.
“Could use new material”
Outdated but still informative. Could benefit from new information and up to date real time driver feedback. We add so much to our routine daily and that makes it more unsafe. Younger demographic may pay more attention to a relatable program with a fresher, younger vibe allowing them to see responsibility closer to their age; considering the attention span of younger drivers.
“N/a”
Good course, straight to the point. Takes a long time to go through all the lessons but pretty simple, and you can request your driving record at the end of you want although that is more expensive that just getting it from Texas.gov.
“In the middle”
In the spirit of "just getting it done" to save face and not pay a fine, this is what you need. My concern lies in the fact that these videos were obviously shot in like 2003. That's 20 years ago. Surely some of the statistics have changed since then. And while there is mention of cell phone use, there's no mention of texting, which is a specific cause of most accidents now-a-days. A lot has changed in 20 years, and I'm not just talking about the styles of the two hosts.
“Driving Info”
Information presented well. Interviews and examples kept the information interesting and assisted with easy recall. Good experience. The time went by faster than I expected. Looking forward to my auto insurance savings.
“Cheap and easy”
A good defensive driving course helped me equip with practical skills and knowledge to avoid accidents and reduce risks while on the road. It cover various topics such as hazard perception, defensive driving techniques, and road safety rules. The course also include hands-on experience, simulations, and interactive sessions to enhance the learning process. By the end of the course, I have improved my driving skills, gained confidence, and reduced their insurance premiums.
“Boring”
Just boring, redundant information we should all know, that had nothing to do with the supposed offence that cause me to get the ticket in the first place. The system is rigged, and it is nothing but a money making scheme, not trying to protect anyone, but making money off of the poor hard working citizens of this country. There are no speed limits in Italy and they all get along just fine! Ask yourself why.
“Fast, discrete, informative”
I really like that I can parcel my time out, as it really helps with my time constraints being a single household. The news style keeps me engaged and the various experts had great information to share from their expertise.
“Long, tedious, and surprises you at the end with extra $25 charge for instant download certificate”
Rather disappointed with how long the course takes, videos are low quality, and being surprised at the end with having to pay even more to get the download certificate was unpleasant and shady. It's a trap since you already finish the class
“Not bad, but not great.”
Quick, clear, and easy way to complete the required course for defensive driving. My only issue with this program is that attaining help or achieving contact with them has been rather poor. I've called multiple times in the past couple of weeks and have never been able to reach assistance; I even left a voicemail that contained contact information as well as the problem I was facing (the problem being that the DPS record request will not go through for me despite multiple days on various different days) and have yet to receive any kind of call back or acknowledgment that my voicemail has been heard.
“Misleading”
The offer was for 25 dollars you click on it to check out it turns to 35.00 dollars, ok, I'll do that, paid it watched all 6 hours in one day, took all the exams etc, then to get my certificate after I completed the course I was billed another 25.0060.00 dollars in total from the misleading 25.00 originally offered.
“Me”
The video is from some time ago, maybe if if was updated it would be a little bit more interesting to watch. The information that is given is very educational but in my opinion maybe a more updated version could be added for younger driver as myself. It's not completely boring but something more up to date would probably be a lot better, that's just my opinion though.
“Insurance Rates”
Its going pretty good, a lot of numbers to try to remember just in case they will be in the test. I am in chapter 4 and thought there would be more basic rules and training like from out of the drivers manual
“Great service so far.”
Registration was easy and started video course very fast. Content is good and informative. Only completed the first section so far and it's been all good. Now to take the quiz. Great to be able to stop and go at my pace.
“Not finished yet!”
So far, So GOOD! I've only finished one of six modules but I like the course so far. This may sound a bit cheesy but I am already paying more attention when driving! Maybe it's a psychological thing but I have noticed it already, and I drive about 40,000 miles a year for my job...
“Text Course Review”
It would be helpful if the course was updated. Most of the videos look like they were made back in the 1970's. Also, in some instances, conflicting statistics are provided in videos versus written text.
“Hidden fees”
Yes, the course itself is 25dlls, but what they don't initially tell you is that instant download of your certificate of completion is another 25dlls. Only free option is delivery via USPS, and that takes up to 10 business days to receive. Just be honest about your pricing.
“Relearning”
Enjoyed watching the video as a refresher and knowing how unexpected life happens. So of the stories I could relate too. I had a wreck a few months ago when I hit a patch of ice luckily I was wearing my seat belt and wasn't injured or hurt anybody else.
“Yes”
It was a fantasticly easy and simple and quickly done fast method of doing a defensive driving course except for the review which is slightly annoying and hurts my brain in why they thought it was a good idea but here we is and i have to do this to even do the thing and not get my drivers card taken away but hey easy quick and good.
“Great experience”
The information was presented in an interactive way as if you were in the classroom. The information was through and realistic never boring or way out over your head. It was so exciting I finished in one setting and I'm a senior citizen!
“Good Videos”
The videos very informative. I like the detailed information that each section went into. I feel this course will make me a better and more informed driver. I also like the personal stories. They make the information given more real.

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
