decathlon.es Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives decathlon.es the absolute highest trust score on the platform: 100. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Safe. Secure. . We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this very high score? We came up with the 100 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to decathlon.es's industry. The algorithm detected no high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Safe. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we label this website as secure and trustworthy. We explain this in more detail below.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning decathlon.es, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between decathlon.es and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of decathlon.es. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of decathlon.es, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. decathlon.es is a secure website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether decathlon.es has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether decathlon.es boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, decathlon.es.

They use the worst shipping company in the world so don't expect to receive any online orders on time or at all
Ordered Padels on my vacation sinec delivery was 1 day hahahahaha, funniest joke I ever heard but it went over my head at the time. Now I am home and after a month it still didn't arrive at the adress. Contacted my local Decathlon and they said to take it up with the Spanish Decathlon, but they never even answered my mails.
Horrible experience. I ordered a bike for my daughter's birthday. After 10 days, its still not delivered. Her birthday was yesterday. Decathlon keeps saying they reached out to the delivery company but don't solve anything. I had to explain to my 6 year old that she didn't receive her gift because of Decathlon. I will NEVER IN MY LIFE order anything from them anymore.
Worst after-sales service ever.I ordered some material online and paid for delivery and assembly. If the material was delivered nobody came to assembly it even if I paid for this. They pretend to have received an award for their service, it cannot be true.
When we did the order it wasn’t clear that decathlon wasn’t the seller it self. You only see that it is sold by a third party once you bought the product. Which makes everything more complicated as they have to check everything with the seller before they can confirm any change. When we received the bicycle it had damage on it and as it was only available online we didn’t have time to send it back and wait for a new one as it was birthday present. Decathlon doesn’t want to do anything for compensation, really disappointing! Order number es10329723822
Bought online.size guidelines wrong as all items to small. To return was hell! And after 2 weeks still havent received my return money.First they dont send the stickon return paper. One has to call after requesting it online and argue to get it. Once package is sent ,you hear nothing. I have now started the process of trying to get my money back. I will NEVER buy here again.Terrible
Absolutely terrible, rude, and unhelpful customer service. I have to assume the only reason they survive is because enough people don't seem to care how horrible they are treated by this awful company that gets so many bad reviews. I so wish I had read the reviews first.
Terrible experience!!! Agressive staff !Shop assistant Vanesa wanted to fight me for wanted my money back, telling me " i dont speak french even tho im british and by the way was speaking spanish( why is my ethnicity has got anything to do with it? Why am i racially profiled? For wanted the staff to rectify an error that they have made? Why is decathlon allows that kind of discriminated behaviour, Vanesa through my change on the desk extremely agressive second shop assistant Noelia shrugging shoulder when asking for explanation..and telling " why do want me to do about it? How is this allowed?.. witnessed saw everything ...im speechless terrible extremely disappointed decathlon accept that kind of behaviour !
Absolutely disgraceful service. On line hopeless while instore couldn't care less. I can't be bothered going into my situation but I promise never to shop with them again and will make sure friends and family will know of their complete disregard.
I bought 2 pairs of trainers, sent both back and received money for 1 pair. Customer service sent their proof of payment but it did not go into my bank. Ive been going around in circles trying to get my back to reclaim the money it is out time. Very poor customer service, the chat is a joke and those who attended the phone and email not better. I have now paid for shoes that I sent back.
The website stated that they had 2 of my chosen item instore at the Cartagena branch.I travelled 1 hour to the store. They had NONE but the website continued to report that they had 2.The staff?...couldn't care less!Unacceptable service!
Between these and DHL I am surprised that they can actually sustain a business.Ordered a bike and it’s nowhere to be found. Been told it’s been delivered, dhl say it’s at the depot and that my address is wrong.Decathlon customer service taking ages to sort this.Never again will I use these.
Es lamentable que Decathlon siga usando la empresa Paack para el reparto sabiendo que es una empresa nefasta que no entrega los paquetes. Son miles los damnificados por la falta de profesionalidad de Paack. Decathlon también sois responsables por contratarlos.
Ordered a few items online on 27th August. Delivery seemed to be an issue & I was forced to send to local collection point. The item is large & now it seems that the collection point is in the midst of a pedestrian area - not ideal. Item was due last week & failed to arrived.I sent an inquiry & got a series of boilerplate emails which made no sense, my emails were only answered in this way. They advised that there was a problem & they would have to make a new order so I asked to cancel - they totally ignored this & sent another dispatch confirmation, for a new order but now incomplete. The new order went out for delivery on Wednesday & we know there was a celeritas van in Soller as they collected an item from us BUT we are still waiting for delivery. Not a good experience & very poor customer service from Decathlon - boilerplate on email & no response on Whatsapp.
I am truly disgusted with the after care service, I bought a 4 person tent for around 100 euros - after 5 set ups the elastic in the poles broke, and on checking the other sets it was fraying. I took it to my local store in los barios and was told that it would be about 30 euros- i gave them the poles and then a few days later got a quote for 110 euros more than the cost of the new tent, I asked for a break down and was told that as the poles were not attached they would charge more to have to re assemble them, funny as when the elastic broke that would have happened but they gave a new quote of 98 euros I accepted but was not happy, a week later another email saying its now 110.00 again so i told them not to do the work, I collect the poles only to find that now 2 sets are broken as they had obviously started the work then stopped but sent me back 2 broken sets not one. adding to this i was then told that if I had taken insurance which I was not offered it would have been free. another time I was told that if I had paid logging into my account it would have been free. So now I have a tent and no poles to set it up, mis information from the staff, equipment returned in a worse state than I gave it to them. this have left me very upset as if the standard of the elastic is so bad that it breaks then they repair should affordable and to charge to re sequence is stupid what do they think happens if it breaks - they magically stay together
I tried buying a bike online to collect at Decathlon Finestrat. The website made it quite difficult so I called the shop and was lucky enough to speak to English-speaking Chloe (I'm not revealing her whole name for 'privacy' reasons). Chloe was really SO helpful and made the purchase -- which the website really complicated -- possible. So BIG thanks to Chloe and I hope she gets some positive recognition from the store management :-)
Exceptional customer service today at Decathlon, Zenia Boulevard. I had a garmin watch to return but didn't have the receipt. With the proof of payment on my credit card they traced the purchase and gave me a full refund. Fantastic service, well done all
Went to buy a lock and some tubes at decathlon la Zenia this morning, I cycled down on my racing bike approx 6k worth and asked the security man could I leave it in the shop so not to be stolen outside , he duly said I could , as I proceeded to put the bike where he told me , another staff member said I couldn’t leave it inside and then told me to get out of the shop , 5 mins it would have taken to buy the lock ,his highly ignorant attitude won’t get me back there again , 0 stars for helpfulness Went to a small bike shop called ‘ I love bike ‘ just down the rd from paddy’s point , very helpful, and had everything I needed , 5 stars for attitude and helpfulness
Terrible terrible terrible!!! Decathlon ‘marketplace’ allowing third party vendors to sell overpriced goods on their site and taking no accountability for the transactions or products. Awful customer service and Decathlon, when did you abandon your principles?
I've made a few orders online now and the service has been top class, mostly received next day. The products have arrived well packaged and exactly as advertised. The delivery man is lovely. I'm surprised to find so many bad reviews on here.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a
fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
