Is deaconjones.co.uk Legit?

I placed an order for over 60 boxes of Quick Step Impressive Ultra during the Christmas holidays. While I anticipated a lengthy waiting period, the delivery surprisingly arrived promptly. There was a brief hiccup related to their back-office software that initially caused some concern. However, following a swift exchange of emails, the issue was promptly resolved.The delivery company, at least the one assigned to my order, exhibited politeness and professionalism throughout. The order was received just as expected – securely wrapped on a pallet with protective corner sleeves. All packages were in pristine, manufacturer-grade condition, showing no signs of damage. It's worth noting that the contents of the boxes are yet to be opened.In summary, the overall transaction was smooth, aside from the minor hiccup initially encountered.I would be happy ( as a property developer ) to use this company again.

I was sent faulty flooring, I ordered the botanical laminate which had a he effect of tiles and the tiles did not line up no matter how you positioned them. I paid a fitter £80 for 4 hours of him trying to figure it out and I had a go myself to find the same problem.upon reaching out to the company I was made out to be an idiot regardless of the clear evidence supporting my claim the tiles were complete different sizes and the staff were rude.so all in all I spent £200 on flooring which was essentially scrap as I was denied any refund. Horrible service and would advise any one who wants flooring to look else where

Very poor service, company does not monitor stock levels or has a shambolic way of doing so.They let you buy and pay for flooring that they don't have in stock and then email 3 days later to see if you'll wait 3 months for it to come back into stock.Needless to say I went and purchased the flooring from a company who actually did have it in stock.

Ordered 19 packs of laminate flooring, 9 of which turned up wet and therefore damaged the flooring. Seven were found initially and then as we were laying the flooring found another two. The first seven were agreed to replaced and the additional two later added on the same day and was agreed that all 9 would be sent out together. Day arrives and only the 2 that were later found also to be damaged were delivered. Two days later and the additional 7 packs that were originally agreed to be resent haven’t arrived. They weren’t sent out together as agreed as the 2 packs that have been received, one of which was also damaged again - had been sent to a different courier. Left with a two year old and half of my floor downstairs with nothing but floorboards.

A friendly company, they were very helpful when I ordered flooring, making sure I had the correct amount while making sure I didn't buy too much, less wastage. That was refreshing. The flooring is superb quality at a great price, less than competitors, delivered safely and in my time-frames, great comms throughout the buying & delivery process. I will be back, Danny & Co., made the whole experience hassle free and enjoyable.

Many thanks to Joanna from the customer services team for keeping us up to date with the progress of our order.We are in the process of converting our garage to a workshop and wanted to use the same laminate design that we had already used downstairs. The shop that we had used previously no longer had the laminate in stock so we were made up that Deacon Jones had some available!The delivery driver also kept in touch to update us on delivery times etc.Will definitely consider Deacon Jones for any future home improvement projects.

Fantastic service, ordered a lot of flooring which was delivered in 2 days, super impressed with service, also kept updated on progress of order, even after sales checking everything was ok. Highly recommend Deacon Jones. Great quality and best price by far!

Can't really fault them. Delivered on time and product was as depicted. Would have been absolutely perfect if delivery driver helped bring it in... but then he probably had more deliveries on the list. Great flooring, good prices. Most likely will return to look at their stock in the future. Thank you guys. Much appreciated.

Excellent, polite and courteous company to deal with. Communication was first rate as was the cost of the product. There were some issues with broken laminate boards presumably occurring in transit, but these were dealt with quickly and without any hassle. Will definitely use again.

We were looking for c60 square metres of QuickStep majestic flooring. Searched the web and found Deacon Jones to be the best value with availability. Great communication from them on delivery with regular updates from Joanna. Flooring arrived and looks great. Would highly recommend.

Went on website to look for laminate flooring and compare price , they very competitive I had a few questions regarding availability and delivery so I sent them an email Olivia replied the next day. They informed me they were getting new stock in that week and would keep me updated. They let me know when the stock arrived I placed my order and received the flooring after 3 days. Product seems good so far. The only negative would be the damage to some of the boards. Unfortunately as I didn’t notice the damage until a few days after delivery, the policy states damage needs to be highlighted on delivery.

Great service, helpful and pleasant customer support. We bought (for us) quite a lot of LVT floor, 180m, from Deacon Jones at a good price. Parting with a lot of cash to an online retailer is always a slight fear but from the start of the transaction they were very professional keeping us up to date with the order and delivery dates. Although there were shipping hiccups (no fault) they supplied us with 2 'emergency' packs so our builders schedule was not affected and did so without any hesitation, this level of service and support is not always easy to find. The floor is down now and looks just as we expected.

I found this company online.. and found the exact type of pattern laminate flooring I was looking for (vintage Spanish tile effect) for my bathroom.. it’s absolutely beautiful.. I couldn’t fault the customer service and prompt delivery of the 3 boxes I ordered..the postage was costly but just had to be done to get what I wanted.. the laminate was packed really well to save any damage..I’m over the moon so thank you Deacon Jones

Fantastic service from Jo at Deacon Jones. She went the extra mile to find me an equivalent (perhaps even better?) product at a lower price, when what I wanted was too low on stock for my needs. She followed the order up, and it was delivered on time exactly as promised. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company, especially as I have unfortunately found the flooring industry to be lacking in good customer service in the past. Thanks Jo!

We have just refurbished our entire house and used Deacon Jones for both wooden flooring and carpets to all bedrooms. The service was superb start to finish, a real pleasure to deal with. Quality excellent, great value and delivery bang on time. Would not hesitate to recommend!

The best customer service that I have had in a long time. I had been looking to order some laminate, it was the cheapest from numerous companies that I checked. Danny was brilliant, called a few times, helped with measuring and advice on underlay. Made it easy by sending a quote over to me with a link to purchase. This will be the first place I will look when I update my other rooms.

Very disappointed in the lack of communication from this company, placed an order for one pack of flooring needed desperately promised delivery in 3-5 days via email, no updates no email had to physically check on the order to be told it’s cancelled…… thanks guys! Ordered from a supplier and it will be here in 3 days!

Absolutely terrible, sent us dodgy tiles what we have photo proof of and refused to give us a refund. Never buy from here unless you are willing to be scammed!
