dathost.net Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives dathost.net a medium trust score on the platform: 59.1. It signals that the business can best be defined by the following tags: Active. Medium-Risk.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 59.1 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to dathost.net's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Active. Medium-Risk. tags above. Long story short, we still see some red flags with this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning dathost.net, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between dathost.net and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of dathost.net. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of dathost.net, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. dathost.net is a problematic website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether dathost.net has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether dathost.net boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, dathost.net.

Have rented a server from DatHost multiple times! Easy to guide around around in the control panel and service is amazing.Last server I forgot to cancel my subscription and the payment was done. Mailed them that my server was not in use anymore and got my money! No problem! The server I last rented was a 7D2D. Mod installation was easy. Server didn’t suffer any issues at all! 10/10
2nd time hosting a palworld server. Price is great and servers are stable.Modding and settings is so easy to acces and change
The hosting of Valheim is quite good, with an easy to navigate directory structure in the management panel.
Nice, fast and best service for cs2 servers
Ive had no issues whatsoever.
Everything just works. The server is fast and connection to it works well. Web user interface for configuring is easy to use. Prices are quite cheap. I absolutely love this service.
Setup and installation was super quick. Intuitive dashboards for great control. A refreshingly modern and responsive page allowed to great control of the servers settings.Unfortunately the stability of the servers leaves much to be desired leading to the game being downright unplayable at times.Latency(ping) varies anywhere from 50-550 at times. Sailing is particularly challenging when your ship isn’t responsive.Probably won’t continue using this.
I used Dathost for a private Valheim server for my friends and I. Overall the experience was great, there weren’t a lot of confusing steps to setting the server up. It would have a bit of de-sync if more than one player was connected to the server.
The pricing and options were straightforward and transparent with great options for server locations. The service worked very well, we had 7 people playing on the server, and we never had any connection or downtime issues. The user interface was easy to use, and world backups were easy to download. The mod support was easy to setup with options for manually installing mods.
Really good host. Support was outstanding.Unfortunately we got kicked because our servers got DDoSed too much. To be fair, we did use the servers for competitive CS:GO/CS2 Hack vs Hack and Cheaters are known to DDoS a lot. They were very nice when it came to refunding the remaining balance and actually fully refunded all payments made throughout the last 30 days.I understand that as a hosting company (and gamers) they have their stance on cheating and hack vs hack. However since it is not reflected in their ToS and they specifically advertise their DDoS protection, I have to deduct 1 star.
Unbeatable Service ProviderI've been through my fair share of poor service providers. However, DatHost is nothing of the sort. Customer service is quick to respond and very knowledgeable and keen to help new & existing customers. Ease of AccessDatHost's method of file management is quite satisfying. They show ALL available server option settings, with easy-to-read descriptions. Server launch/compile times are something to admire too. Very fast and reliable. Fair price-performanceI was a bit sceptical regarding their server specifications being shared amongst servers. It's very fair and well-managed. Servers will apply limitations when your server reaches certain usage points so that you're not drawing too much resource from the pool. That being said, drawing too many resources is near impossible since the specifications are largely reliable and capable of handling process-intense tasks. 10/10 would recommend.
Setting up a Valheim server was quick and easy. The user interface is friendly and key functions are easy (e.g. saving world, restoring backup, uploading world, adding mods). Customer support is friendly and helpful. Sometimes we do experience some lag on the server not attributable to PC bandwidth. But dathost is very good for its low price.
Heard about Dathost from a YouTube streamer talking about Valheim! Never setup a dedicated server in my life! I'm an Xbox player first and foremost. Wow what an absolute breeze. Now I'm looking around thinking what else could I run a dedicated server for in terms of my favorite games.
Super easy to use, and with great prices. Setup is simple too, only issue I've had are due to the mods im using for a minecraft server, but for other games it works great!
Never rented a game server before so wasn't sure what to expect. Dathost have been good. UI is straightforward. When I raised issues regarding performance one evening, I received a prompt reply (from a real person) which explained the issue to my satisfaction (related to the game not the server). Easy to set up. Not too expensive. Decent UI. Good customer service
TL;DRSeems like a reliable host, not the cheapest, but also not very expensive. Lots of locations and even an API!Looking for a reliable Sons of the Forest host I came across DatHost. Never heard of them before but reviews were good and they seemed to interact with their customers so I decided to give them a go. I'm pleasantly surprised with their great range of data centers, and they even have an API! Unfortunately it does use basic authentication rather than tokens with scopes (I was going to build my friends a simple GUI to start/stop the server, but I don't want to give away the keys to the kingdom).
The server reliability has been great so far. I've used a few other dedicated server hosts with a few issues and higher prices, but dathost has been reasonable actually even better in all those aspects. Thanks dathost!
After signing up, I complained that transferring the server to São Paulo (Brazil) was an extra fee, because they advertised there were no extra fees anywhere. So they renegotiated the contract with the Brazilian host and fixed it. Respect. The service itself is pretty decent, no network lag that I can tell, and only rarely any hardware lag/glitching in the game. The web admin interface is pretty neat/easy to use.
Fast and stable servers, we've tried it for both CS:GO and Valheim and didn't have any issues. Straightforward and competitive pricing, clean website, and their control panel is the best one I've seen out of all the game server hosting companies I've been with. Just wish they provided support for more games so we don't have to go anywhere else for our other needs.
Super nice and fast service, fantastic dashboard I created a server to play Valheim with my friends. Setting up the server and uploading our existing world was super easy (and with nice and clear instructions) The other thing that I'm impressed with is the dashboard and all the control that the dashboard gives. You can easily and quickly reboot, access mods, and more if needed. Highly recommend this.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies this service works and is trustworthy. It costs only $6.49/month but is worth the cost. U.S., UK, EU, Swiss, and Canadian residents only. Click below.
