dataseal.io Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives dataseal.io a low-to-medium trust score on the platform: 46.6. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Doubtful. Medium-Risk. Alert.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 46.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to dataseal.io's industry. The algorithm detected potential high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Doubtful. Medium-Risk. Alert. tags above. Long story short, we caution you about using this website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning dataseal.io, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between dataseal.io and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of dataseal.io. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of dataseal.io, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. dataseal.io is a suspect website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether dataseal.io has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether dataseal.io boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, dataseal.io.
Online Reviews of dataseal.io

- Score: 3.6
I signed up a few months ago and I was curious to see if there was any change when I searched for myself online. Well, I just Googled myself and there were far fewer results that came back and this makes me confident the service is working as intended.
First and foremost I want to say that the positive reviews for this company are clearly fake. Next, about the services themselves: 1. There’s absolutely no visibility or transparency about which websites they’re removing your information from. After about a month I didn’t notice anything new being scanned or if my information was being removed from any other websites. 2. There is absolutely no way to cancel your subscription through their website. It’s a huge red flag that I wish I noticed earlier. I’ve reached out to their support email several times and have yet to receive a response. Do not waste your time with this profoundly inept and unethical company.
I asked dataseal to remove my account and after a year and a half, they started sending me supposed scan reports, six months after I cancelled mind you.I must say though, I have never seen such obvious fake positive reviews. They set new standards in clear fakes that rival the best at Amazon.
Their supposed data removal is questionable. For example over the past year it says my data was removed 9 times from Intelius, so either Intelius just adds my data back again immediately after it's removed, or DataSeal keeps reporting the same removal over and over to make it look like they're actually doing something. Either way it makes this service totally pointless. There are scores of examples of this. Lastly the "privacy score" they give you is meaningless... at the end of the 1-year subscription my score went from the 60's to the 90's, and then right after renewal it dropped in the 50s again just days later! After my membership was finally cancelled, my score dropped to 20.
This company is unethical. It's been a month since I registered, and they have not removed any data, but they said it takes time. There is no option to close your account on their website. So I contacted them several times asking them to close my account and to not bill me on the next billing date. I received responses (which is proof that they received my requests), but they ignored my requests, and tried to encourage me to keep my account; but I responded, specifically stating that I wanted my account closed, and asked them not to bill me. But they ignored my requests and had the audacity to bill me anyway, and kept my account open. This is a bad website which I don't recommend.
I have been a DataSeal user for over 6 months and Ryan and his team has been great to work with. In the beginning I had a few concerns but these were quickly alleviated by the responsiveness of their support team. Now most of my information has been deleted and I feel much safer thanks to this wonderful organization.
I subscribed to dataseal.io after learning about my personal information being bought and posted online by data brokers. My home address, phone number, even my resume was exposed. This product did what I didn't have time to do and I couldn't be happier with the results. Definitely worth the money.
I’ve used DataSeal for nearly two years and have been absolutely impressed by the ease of use, thoroughness of the removal process, constant verification that items have been removed, and the level of customer service I’ve received (I cannot stress this one enough!)Yes, there are other service providers out there; however, DataSeal is not only one of the most affordable/thorough, they are extremely responsive and easy to work with. I’ve only had to reach out to the company twice since being signed up, but during both instances, I received both a TIMELY and PERSONAL reply from their staff (no canned/scripted messages). These guys truly appreciate their customers and it shows. Within a matter of a month, I saw noticeable results of the removal of my data. Within 3, I was nearly impossible to find.Give them a try, you’ll be pleasantly surprised!
Dataseal is my first venture into internet data removal. My family and I took snapshots of my internet profile at 3mon, 6mon, 9mon and we will take two more snapshots at 12mon and 14mon which is two months after the subscription ends. So far Dataseal made significant improvements in getting rid of loose end demographic data that were sitting on the web. At the current price point I give a full RECOMMEND to anyone thinking about it. If I can remember Ill come back and update the review for Dataseal after I have something to objectively compare them to.
They don't do good enough. When I registered I was under the impression that they were going to remove my details from the Internet, but they only removed 66 out of 198 records. Several months have gone by, but this is not even remotely good enough. Further, a lot of their requests to remove records are "Unresponsive," and nothing ever changes. I suggest that you use another program.
TRUSTWORTHY~It's rare in today's business world to find a company with a laser focus on customer care. I have worked in marketing for global corporations and can say that DataSeal is "old school" in how they honor their customer relationships. As promised, they have removed ALL of my personal information from the Net. The word that comes to mind is... TRUSTWORTHY!
The ease of signing up, the cost and straightforward explanation of how everything works was priceless. I knew from the start what to expect and dataseal is very thorough in following up with your data to make sure your data was deleted.I would highly recommend Dataseal to anyone looking for a Fast , efficient service to purge their data and have the peace of mind it was from a reputable compnay with a great system.
I really appreciate the work that dataseal.io has done on my behalf. Everything that they have said they would do they have. I feel safe and protected as I explore and use the internet sites. I am now protected which feels outstanding, especially being a victim of identity theft. The Customer Service is excellent. Signing up is very easy and fast. The cost is fabulous. The peace of mind is so worth it! Thank you dataseal.io...I will never be without them!!!
I really appreciate this because i am still a minor and it makes me uncomfortable that all of my personal information is able to be found just by name. they are inexpensive and although it does take some time for the removal requests to process, it is so worth it because it is much more accurate than if you tried to find and submit a request to every website yourself. worth the money !
DataSeal does a great job with their service. I’ve had them for months. I sent an email this morning within minutes I had a reply back. Then spoke with someone on the phone. Super nice and very knowledgeable to my situation. I definitely recommend DataSeal.
These folks have an outstanding product and the customer service is second to none. I love feeling protected and Dataseal delivers. Definitely worth every penny!
The commitment of the Dataseal team to delivering on promises is not merely a matter of practice but a reflection of their core values. Whether it's transparent pricing, ethical business practices, or genuine concern for customer satisfaction, Dataseal consistently goes above and beyond to uphold its integrity.
dataseal.io is a great product to have. It protects your privacy online. I would recommend this product to anybody. Keep up the good work.
Dataseal has exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this company to family and friends.

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

I don't know if dataseal.io is a scam or not but I am trying to cancel on the monthly plan. They say I can cancel anytime on the monthly plan to send a written letter. I sent 2 of them. The thing is they know I want to cancel and now I can't even login. I have not heard from them in a month either.
Dataseal.io - Compliment for Ryan I had been having issues with huge amounts of data being online for anyone to see for years. I got so much junk mail I finally changed email addresses. I looked into this online and after running a credit report on myself I saw 6 massive data breach’s and the timing lined up perfectly as to both years I had my identity stolen. I did my research into companies actually doing what they say. I read about Dataseal on a very legitimate magazine article which rated these companies and if they actually did what they promised. Dataseal was their number 1 recommendation, so there wasn’t any doubt who I wanted to pay for the bulk data removal. I tried 2 other companies before Dataseal and none of them did what they said. No one could get my info off their websites. Dataseal did it without any problems. I now have a 98% privacy score online! From the very beginning, and I am literally referring to within 24 hours of me signing up for data removal from tons of websites it began. Dataseal’s website was excellent and you could see each website you are on, and the progress of them removing it. Sure anyone can do this themselves, but I guarantee you wont get as many websites then Dataseal can do. If you want a data removal company who is very honest, with excellent communication throughout the entire process and unbeatable customer service, pick Dataseal. Ryan is awesome and very patient, professional and knowledgeable. I was impressed with his customer service and knowledge into what I needed done, and what every other website promised, and they failed to do. Dataseal did exactly what they advertised. Bulk amounts of data removal removed as quickly as humanly possible. Don’t question yourself. Choose Dataseal every time you or anyone you know needs information removed from the internet. - Thanks Ryan for everything. - Brian
