Is cyclotricity.com Legit?

Just fitted Ebike kit to my wife's old folding step over shopper bike no problem all good took bit longer than expected as had to adapt one or two things due to age of bike but working well now! good response to emails and quick shipping arrived as stated in 5 days . Kit looks good quality First time with Cyclotricity would definitely recommend

Having recently taken up cycling again (after many years not being able to due to serious back issues) using my 25yr old mountain bike I found although I enjoyed it, hills of which there are lots of round where I live were causing me trouble and back pain so I decided to invest in an ebike. Knowing precious little about these I called Cyclotricity and found them to be super helpful and patient answering all my questions of which I had quite a few. Very easy to get hold of on the phone (unlike some companies). Elaine was very helpful and quick to respond to any emails I have sent which was great. I was so pleased with how helpful they have been that I purchased my bike from them feeling confident that their help and knowledge is only a call or email away. Super company to deal with I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I recently had to travel to bristol from Penzance to fix the problem with my daughters bike. Not knowing exactly the problem I aranged for all possible spares to be sent to Bristol. Eilaine on the support desk aranged for them to arive on time and I was able to solve the problem. I then returned the unused spares and was given a full refund . Excelent support and friedly replies via email from Eilaine she was realy helpfull.

I have been a loyal customer of Cyclotricity for some years now, I find their sales exemplary as I do the after sales side which are second to none. Their systems both front and rear drive are super and give high quality and long wear and usage. Their instructions on the DIY side are brilliant. I will continue to promote this excellent company. Thank you Cyclotricity for keeping a disabled cyclist, hand bike user on the road.

A bit disappointed that I had to buy a new battery as I didn't appreciate that it would fail if not used regularly. However, the support from Elaine to guide me through the fault finding process was excellent. Great customer service when it was required.

Excellent customer service, good quality product, but not being able to select a delivery day when you order is a pain. Had to ring customer services and ask them to ship my parcel on a certain day to make it likely to turn up when I wanted. Elaine Macanas was brilliant and able to answer all of my questions, but would have been better if it were not necessary. Also, they don't send you an invoice, you have to follow a link to make an account, and when I did so my invoice was not there. Nothing their customer services couldn't sort out, but again, shouldn't be necessary.

Great service from Elaine at Cyclotricity. A great help as I fitted a kit to my existing bike. The kit itself is great once fitted correctly and would fully recommend the product and would highly commend Elaine who helped me through the process. Well done Elaine.

Absolutely no help at all. Problem with my bike and you cannot even speak to anyone. They are not interested once you have purchased a bike. Disgusting "service". Don't go near this company, buy something local. I am disgusted with them

Be careful buying from this company. They refuse to replace anything under guarantee. Have a bike that's 8 months old, after sending photos of broken parts. They just refuse any service. In the end just bought the parts online. Cost under £10.. so thats how little their customer service is valued Don't waste your money

Excellent customer service from Elaine. DHL had a problem at their distribution centre and Elaine was very professional and reply to my query very quickly. Product very good value.

This is my second time purchasing Cyclotricity products and once again straight forward. Placed order then within 5 days I received my kit. The kit is now fitted to my bike and no problems what so ever. Elaine from customer services once again very helpful. a good experience from my side

I ordered a rear wheel drive kit to convert my mountain bike. The kit was delayed in being delivered, so I was given a free upgrade. I had a little trouble at first, but eventually got the kit working with help from Yousif and Mark at electric bike conversions, and Elaine from Cyclotricity. I found the after sales support to be excellent, and would recommend this kit to other prospective purchasers.

Ordered a middrive kit (circa £700). No order confirmation, invoice, delivery info etc. Several issues with the order, missing items and battery incorrectly labeled as 48v. Instructions in Chinese. The kit started to make a squalling noise within 20miles of first riding and power kept dropping out. I also couldn't de-restrict as the company told me the control unit was not the one they sell (certainly came in their box!). When I asked to return the item, custsomer services ignored me until I called them. Took weeks and many hours of work to essentailly be back. Nice lady in customer services though.

Prompt delivery and response on a missing charger. Good packaging, everything working fine, just needed a bit of fettling here and there to get it all fitted eg needed to use a penny washer suitably opened up to go over oval shaped rear axle as an extra spacer as top cog so close to frame that chain would not clear.

Service here has been fantastic. Have communicated right through the process. Would definitely recommendWas also the best price could find and on cycle to work too

“A terrible company with next to no customer service”

I purchased an ebike conversion kit from this company which arrived OK but was not functioning properly. When I tried to contact their customer support via telephone, I was met with a voice recording that would tell me there were no agents available then hang up, no waiting queue. I tried to call them for over a week, calling every ten minutes, each day. So in the end, well over a few hundred attempts to reach customer service via phone. I also emailed them of course but it was at least 5 days before I got an unhelpful response then about 4 days before the next response after that. My point here is that their customer service is nearly non-existent. Tip for consumers:the customer service is very bad, don't use this site
