Is cuttingedgegamer.com Legit?

Rejected my application because they dont accept US passports as ID. Wrap that around your brain, A US company wont accept an ID issued by the government as legitimate identification. Tells you all you need to know about them.Mind you, this is after they had already taken my money.

I used their service to get a gpu last year and it has been pretty great. I decided to get another card for a secondary machine and have had nothing but issues. I was told that due to increased fraudulent activity they needed me to send in photo of my ID, paying debit card, and a utility bill. Sending PII through unsecure methods is a huge security risk and should not be a request from any business.

Have had a early payoff with them in tge past. Had great CS. Went to lease anothrer card and they ask me for picture of ID, credit card, and utility bill. I didnt send them the complete shot of utility bill because it contains login information. They wanted to see it. So i sent them a copy of my water bill from expressbillpay. They questioned me asking why my water bill appeared late because balance appears as past due. I told them thats just the format they can see the bill was paid before due date. Still questioned me about water bill. Gave up told them to cancel. Man this was ridiculous.

Past due due to financial problems threatened with criminal charges right away and threatened with past due balance being sent to collections. Very unprofessional people. Regret ever signing up with these clowns.

Sadly can't recommend as much as I'd really like to. Despite the substantial mark-up for those not able to finance through traditional means it really is the only alternative. With that being said, they use misleading an inaccurate practices to determine eligibility. Despite 2 years of consecutive proof of payment they decide you show "poor payment history" if you have any kind of current past due balance. Considering the current situation of the world this is, in my opinion an unfair practice.

I've used this company twice in the past. Recommended them to family and friends. Now I goto lease a new card and because their "requirements" they deny me based off a frigging roommate with separate bills. They say due to fraud in covid. Come on, I've leased with you, advertised for you. And paid you double to triple twice already. They DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS! They denied my lease twice holding funds up for about a week. This was after their customer service representative told me to apply that I would be approved with my bills. I opened a bank account just to apply with them, then I get turned down. I am just going to straight out buy the card now because I can, the only reason for the lease was to avoid $1500 up front. Now game on. I will create a series of YouTube videos explaining the downfall of thus company from 2014 to 2023.

I don’t know what has happened to this business. I’ve got two cards from them in the past with no issues whatsoever. It used to be a breeze to rent to own with them, however their so called “verification process” is less than desirable. This experience has been horrible and much different than it used to be. I sent them a CURRENT power bill as requested. The bill was NOT past due and in fact was not due until the 15th of October 2021. They claimed that I appeared to be in “financial distress” and could not rent to me even though I had rented twice in the past with no payments issues whatsoever. I am a teacher who makes 50K a year. This was beyond insulting and a huge waste of my time. I will not be back. I paid 4 times the cost for a GPU just to avoid going through this ridiculous process ever again. I will not be back for their services, EVER. I’d rather pay 4 times as much for a product than to ever deal with these people ever again.

Welcome to Radical Review of The Day for December 18 2019.I recently joined the PC master race because the new Xbox looks like a BIG SQUARE (hehehe *SNORT*). I suppose it looks better than the 1980s VCR XBOX ONE lol.Let me tell you, I am completely inept when it comes to computers. Because of this, I had my friend Kenny, or "kinny" as I like to call him, look into CuttingEdgeGamer as an option for loaning a GPU. I was enticed by the promise of "low monthly payments". I personally work a low-paying hard-larbor job, as I was born "special". I also have a YouTube channel where I earn a poxy amount of money by shoveling out inane videos each day. This is why I was lured in by the "low monthly payments". Kinny and I... I mean Kenny and I thought this was a fantastic offer and so I loaned a GTX 1060. I had to send in a pic of my ID, which was last valid before JFK was president, and CEG approved me. It was simple. After only a month of having the card though, I noticed severe framerate issues and artifacts on screen. It was like playing on a 1980s VCR XBOX ONE lol. I returned the card to CEG but I wasn't reimbursed for the first payment and I had to pay a restocking fee of $20. I won't be using this business's services again.I will gladly update this radical review if and when I am reimbursed.

I tried to do the rent-to-own route with them over a graphics card recently. On their website, they are vague about what they need in the sense of the payment card because they omitted the part where your name HAS to be on the payment card when you send it to them on the website. I send the information they requested over, and explained what happened to my debit card (which is valid for about 19 more months and still works) and provided my most recent bank statement that contains the debit card information alongside my name and address. I get a reply from Diana that my name had to be on the card and my order was canceled. Because they're unwilling to work with me regarding the payment card, I feel that they're somewhat misleading here due to an omission on their website regarding the payment card. I will NOT be doing any sort of business with them until they are willing to work with potential customers who have VERY valid reasons for concealing certain aspect of what they provide.

At first, their service was good. Leased 3-4 cards over 2 years and even did the buy out on some. Then I took a break for a few years. When I came back I tried to order a new card but they did not like the fact that the first name on the card was my mothers as this video card was for my brother and she was paying for it. We both have the same last name and the same card was use for some of the past video cards but they still said no like I was trying to fraud them.So like that they lost a long time loyal customer that had not screwed them on any of the cards and payments in the past 3 years. Had my account deleted as their new CSR is very blunt and rude to someone who has ordered multiple cards in the past. Then just today I was going to give them another chance and this time, your cards billing address must be the shipping address. Since I have my bills go to my PO Box as you know everyone else that has mail theft dose... they canceled my order and refunded without even opening a ticket asking for a shipping address.I opened a ticket to let them know that I know you don't ship to PO Boxes and here is my shipping address, but they wanted me to change the billing address of my card to my home lol. So that was it for me.If they owners see this, Diana is turning away lots of legit business. I loved CEG when it was your first few years running it but you guys changed. Good luck with business!
