Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between culturevulturedirect.co.uk and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of culturevulturedirect.co.uk. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of culturevulturedirect.co.uk, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. culturevulturedirect.co.uk is a likely trustworthy website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Ordered a door mat end of March to give to my mother as a birthday present in May, as she had been eyeing it up for a while. Email received 3 weeks later stating there was a delay in getting the delivery to their warehouse and that I would receive it in June.Told my mother on her birthday that I had got her the doormat she wanted, but she would have to wait a little longer. She was disappointed but so happy to be getting it.Called customer services this morning to chase it up to be told they now don’t know when they will be receiving it and that someone would contact me back (I won’t hold my breath).Wish I had read the other reviews before ordering, some of which stating they sell items they don’t actually have.
I have never signed up to this company's mailing list. They sent me a brochure. I emailed to request they remove my details from their database, and they requested further info to do this (which I provided). Nonetheless, I'm still receiving brochures from them, several months later.
I have received their catalog today which tells me that they are sister companies with Museum Selection which I delete with recently. Upon reading the reviews here I see that both companies have the same administrative failing. It is not professional to share customer info even though I understand that they want to make money. I haven’t given consent to receive catalogs through mail which goes to landfill.
I spent over £130 on Christmas gifts. Firstly, I had no complete order confirmation email, only a Paypal notification of the monies being taken. Despite ordering in plenty of time, the amount of time they spent “picking and packing”, i had to buy an alternative present because I was still waiting for delivery. I am still waiting for the order to be fulfilled, so, once again, I have had to buy ANOTHER alternative present. Oddly enough, despite the despatch being associated with a ‘48-hour’ delivery, this has yet to happen. Customer service is hit and mostly miss.Update: After another email, suddenly I got a refund for the missing items. No response via email, not apology. Such as shame as they used to be good but will never buy from them again.
Disgraceful company, don't issue refunds within their agreed times and full of excuses on the phone.Their website states they'll refund within 14 days of them receiving the goods. I have confirmation they received my goods back on 13th Feb - 4 weeks ago today, still no refund.Phoned last week to chase the money, was told they're moving warehouses hence the delays, I was told this before Christmas when an order was delayed. Chased again today to be told 'you and 500 other people are waiting for refunds, you just have to wait'! Well no, I don't, I can report the issue to Visa and trading standards since you're not meeting your own timeframes.Won't order from them again, they also overcharged me for a sale item. Absolute shambles of a company.Written on behalf of my elderly mum.
I received a faulty item. I called to return and replace. It was not poss. to reserve a replacement. I was told a returns label would be sent, four hours later I rang Customer Services. I was then told the label could take 24th, I called again and it was 24-48hours but definitely today. It is 1500 no label. I doubt there will be any left for me when the faulty one gets there. When I said it was terrible Customer Service he said I was shouting. I wasn’t after 34 years in Cust Serv management I know people don’t hear when shouted at.
I can’t sufficiently express my delight with every item I’ve so far bought from Culture Vulture. The prompt service is terrific, everything well packaged and delivered with speed ! Five stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Plus a Thank you for the gorgeous catalogue ❤️
I love this company. Have ordered many things over many years. Never had to send anything back. Latest order has been received, well packaged (even though it was glass) and both items totally unique and beautiful. Items have come very quickly ( within the week even through the postal strikes) I can only speak from my own experiences but highly rate the company.
I won't be ordering anything else from this company. In common with other reviewers, I find their systems to be shambolic, although some of their products are enticing. I deliberated long (too long, it seems), and hard before ordering a beautiful Nepalese hand-knitted hooded jacket. I rang in an order. The size I wanted was out of stock. This was weeks ago, in early October. I was very disappointed and asked if the jacket would be coming back into stock. The customer agent said she would enquire and ring back, which she eventually did. She said the jacket would not be coming back into stock. Fast forward to late November, and I received the Christmas catalogue (unsolicited). Guess what? The jacket was featured in the new catalogue! I was delighted and tried to order it online. Guess what? Out of stock. Why continue to put an item in successive catalogues if you can't supply it? The next catalogue will go straight into the recycling bin. Unopened.
My wife bought a VERY expensive top from Culture Vulture , well in excess of £100 . Not only was the top different from the one shown on their website and catalogue , but we had to pay for the delivery of the wrong item, and also had to pay for the return of the item , all at our own cost! Do yourself a large favour and order from one of the multitude of REPUTABLE shopping outlets online, and save yourself the hassle.
CVUK3947820Ordered yesterday, well before 2pm cut off time, and paid for next day delivery. Item has not been dispatched, so it clearly won't be arriving today.UPDATE Culture Vulture have refused to cancel this order and refund me. They claim the item ordered is "in picking" and that they have no method of contacting their warehouse. Apparently the item is in stock- if this is the case, why not just get a move on and dispatch it??Emails go unanswered. I am told that there is no-one at senior/management level available to discuss the issue. They are all "busy. It will take two days for my request for a refund of "next day postage" to be considered. They now say the item wil be dispatched tomorrow.Email received on 8th December. It doesn't mention my request for a refund of postage. It claims the "picking process" has progressed too far in spite my having alerted them to the issue early yesterday morning. **Update: Finally I have spoken to a supervisor. They have at last admitted that they have no stock. I suspected this from the outset. I have been promised a full refund.
The amount of marketing is too much for me, but during a 1 minute silence to reflect upon the healthcare and frontline workers who have died from Covid-19, I get an 11am email about their newest products. Whether a human pushed the button or their emails are automated, they still represent the company and this was in such poor taste. I know they are trying to keep their businesses going - my own business is struggling beyond belief, but I am watching loved ones go to work not knowing if they will return with all of our lives changed forever. A one minute silence should not be too much to ask for. Ironically their webpage talks of supporting the NHS. Presumably only when the NHS are shopping. It tells you a lot about the nature of the business and their priorities so I won't be shopping with them again.
BEWARE! I ordered an advent calendar with time to spare for its delivery. Culture Vulture didn't bother to post it for two days then sent me an email saying it would be delivered by Parcelforce 48. The tracking number they sent was invalid. Postal cost very high. Rang to find out what was happening. The woman I spoke to could not care less. She basically said that's just the way it is. If you wanted your advent calendar sent out quickly you have to pay £9.99! More than the item cost! She said she didn't know anything about the tracking number so tough luck. Disgraceful. She really didn't care and the calendar will now arrive maybe on the 5th or 6th December. Rotten.
Avoid this company at all costs, to this day I am still waiting for a reply from their customer services department (who I assume don't even exist?!) after 3 emails. Buy the same products elsewhere and avoid using these crooks!
The order and products were okay. But nowhere did I request culture vulture to send me constant junk mail. I did not even give my address to culture vulture, they have simply sent junk mail (catalogues) to every single address I send orders too. Plus there is nowhere on my profile on their site to stop this junk mail! I find this abusive.
Never requested this catalog. I have never purchased from this company. Would never buy this stuff. Straight in the trash. Waste of paper, ink, shipping resources, and mailbox space. Think before you randomly send people catalogs they did not request. We don't want it. Read CV's privacy policy which states they share your data with sister brands, data pools, in every instance they could possibly monetize you. They are not interested in your data protection, they are interested in monetizing your data for their sole purpose of putting as much money as they can in their own pockets. Your time dealing with this data removal request is the real casulty, contacting all these "sister"companies to get you removed, presuming they act in honor and will. This is an awakening, think before you buy, read their policies, before you get inundated with catalogs and solicitations. These instances have been great because, it has stopped me shopping, almost completely, and I have so much more time for more enriching things. Abuse leads to awakening and enlightenment. Thank you for the reminder, stop shopping! Spend time enriching yourself spiritually instead. Materialism is a distraction. You don't need it.
I didn't even get to have a purchasing experience with Culture Vulture. Had a catalogue through with The Week magazine and were some lovely items so decided to order some things for Christmas, focusing on an embroidered faux leopard rug for my daughters first Christmas. Tried to order it but it was out of stock. Asked for a notification when they received more which I got some days later, but when I went to order it there was suddenly no stock left. I asked for a further notification when it came back in, which I received several days later. Tried to order it when I saw the email only 8 hours after it arrived in my inbox, only to face the out of stock message again. Apparently they have no more stock of this (evidently popular) item ever coming in again. I am really disappointed with the experience and feeling let down several times. I won't be looking to attempt to buy anything from them in the future, despite the allure of the lovely objects advertised.
Having waited many weeks and chasing up my order placed with Culture Vulture I am now told by them there is no stock to fulfil my order. I will not be buying from them again. Total waste of time. And the clothes are not cheap !
Used this company on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. Good quality, unusual products, shipped efficiently and with care. Particularly like their support for Fair Trade.
Avoid avoid avoid bunch of rip off merchants..am starting legal proceedings against them ..they will take your money then deny they have cashed cheque..you will never get the order!!! Con artists !!!!!!
