Is cultgaia.com Legit?

This company won't accept any international returns, poor customer service! I bought a dress of 560 euro, quality is poor and I am not able to return it. Even though I've said I will pay for my own shipping costs. They are also ignoring my emails. I would not recommend to buy anything here.Ordernumber 308353

Terrible experience received a bag for my bday last month from a friend . The bag is already rusting and customer service refuses to help me. Read below- I was gifted this keep in mind Useless customer service and even worst the product quality is awful on the bag. This hurts to say coming from a former cult Gaia loverI was hoping I could send the screenshots. Of the email chain but no images allowed but trust what I’m saying.

I've bought 2 bags from CG. (One a sale item, the other full priced). I live in Australia so it's international. They've come fast and both been in perfect condition. I've used them several times and am now obsessed with this brand!

I purchased a dress and it fitted perfectly for my daughter’s wedding. However on the day I noticed that the dress did not have the ruching detail on the back as it was supposed to and it also keeps twisting around the body so the back seam moves to the left quite a lot. I have emailed customer service and they have not responded

Return policy SUCKS / non existent! I bought a clutch from them for my wife’s birthday. Turns out Cult Gaia isn’t her style. I went to return the bag but the most they’ll give me is store credit no cash refund.I don’t think it’s that much to ask for a refund for a product you’re giving back that’s untouched, in the box and bag with tags etc. it’s standard practice and good customer service.Not offering a refund just screams that a business isn’t stable and grabbing at revenue where they can. Cause frankly it’s ridiculous.

Basically the same as everyone else. Was planning to buy a number of dresses for my pre-wedding events so started by buying only one to get the size right. Sizes run small, they don't support international returns (despite being required to do so by EU law). The finally agreed to it but didn't provide a return label - shipment got stuck in customs as a result due to confusion around import duties. Had to file a complaint with the consumer protection bureau and my credit card company.1) Don't buy here if you're outside of the US 2) if you're in the US and need any support from customer service, be careful.

Would give zero stars if there would be an option:The recent experience was truly out of this world in terms of lack of customer-centric focus. If I could give them a zero I would. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They don’t have a phone number to talk to anybody. I think it’s a robot that answers the email because it just says the same thing each time. I returned a pair of shoes and asked for a gift card. It’s been a couple weeks. Still haven’t got the gift card. And when I email them, I just get the same response. I Finally found a person at a store to talk to named Karly who actually was the most helpful through this process. I love CULT GAIA, clothing, shoes, purses, and accessories, but now I’m super hesitant to buy anything from them. I have literally emailed them 10 to 12 times and sometimes they just never answer for days. Probably better to buy stores instead of online as their customer service is zero! Very bad company. They should try to be more like Revolve, which makes everything so easy and their customer service is excellent 10 out of 10 for Revolve zero out of zero for CULT GAIA

International orders do not allow for return which is shocking, I didn’t realise what they meant by finale sale. Sales are normally discounts in the UK so I ignored this. On top of this the customer needs to pay any import taxes and VAT which is also shocking. They don’t even tell you upfront how much these cost. I will never buy from them again, I wish people could see these reviews before they buy as I didn’t.

Agree, not worth even 1 star. They don’t offer returns or exchanges outside of the US, but it’s in the fine print with the wording “international orders” which is unclear to which country! I offered to pay for the size exchange or the return and they said no to both! Got my regular size and it’s huge on me. So now I have a £600 dress that doesn’t fit me! Absolutely crazy to not offer returns or exchanges and incredibly bad customer service.

Cult Gaia is an insanely overpriced rip off of other people's beautiful creations throughout history. They are not inspired by vintage pieces, Cult Gaia directly rips off gorgeous original creations and calls it their own. Please do not support them - there are so many original, unique, sustainable brands out there. OR buy vintage pieces, hopefully so that you can support a cyclical economy but also because Cult Gaia is a rip off and overcharge above and beyond for what they sell. Would love to see some transparency on their profit margin and manufacturing processes... food for thought.

Made a purchase May 18 for my birthday outfit Jun 18. Got an email saying order was processed the next day and awaiting shipping. I send 6 follow up emails over three weeks with no response. When I threatened to charge back my credit card, I got an email saying that unfortunately my purchase went to a "higher priority customer" and they cancelled it a couple days before my birthday and said they'd give me a 10 per cent off promo code and to "have a great day!" There was no apology or resolution attempt.Such shockingly bad customer service as well as unreliable. I would not trust them for a milestone event like a birthday or a wedding. I also think saying I'm not high priority is a poor choice. What does that mean exactly? The brand isn't exactly known for being inclusive. Felt like a snobby mean girl at the end of that email telling me I wasn't good enough.I have a bag I bought from another retailer and that will be my first and last purchase of this brand. I will probably consign it because I want nothing to do with this company. Gross.

As many other reviews here. NEVER Again. Cult Gaia just lost a loyal customer. I love their products however, some might not have the expected quality and fit. Then I purchased sandals online, I had to return because the quality wasn't great and it felt they will break with the first wear but also, I can't walk in the sandals, they very uncomfortable. The customer service is appalling the least. I asked if possible to return and they said I wouldn't be able to return because of final sale, however on the website is not clear! Also, UK consumer laws says that if the seller doesn't have physical presence to close proximity of your house and buy online, customer have the right to return no matter what as they can't assess the product in person! Once I sent them the UK regulations, they accepted my return, however, they told me I need to pay for return and duties. I kindly asked for them to generate a return label and deduct from refund, however, they said they can't generate international return labels! So, they can ship internationally but can't generate a label? The customer service is appalling and never again. Very disappointed!

Bought shoes for my wife. First time, although they were same shoe size, one was bigger than the other. Netaporter exchanged them no issues. Second pair, one of the heels fell apart. Cheap made, not the quality you expected for 600 dollars shoes. Never again

This brand doesn’t even deserve the one star I’m forced to give it. The owner/founder supports ethnicity-based violence and discrimination. Also, apparently from reading the other reviews, it seems more like a scam than a real fashion brand. Apparently has terrible quality items and even worse customer service. Will probably fail soon, but until then - avoid avoid avoid!

Being London based I was originally apprehensive after seeing reviews about UK returns issues. This could not have been more wrong, I had absolutely no issues after returning a summer dress I bought for a cancelled wedding (Covid life!). It was an incredibly easy process and customer service could not have been more lovely, and very quick to respond!Cult Gaia has beautiful style and a superb customer service team. Keep it coming! We want more!

Cult Gaia's customer service is very impressive. They responded so quickly, politely and with such clear communication! I had my bag break because I dropped it (I'm stupid) and they responded within 20 min, not kidding. This was by far the fastest response I had resolved my complaint, ever. Not to mention, I am stunned by their amazing styles, I got stopped at least six times asking where my dress was from in one night. This was my first order with Cult Gaia, but definitely not my last.

This is the worst company do not order from them bought a 400.00 bag that had many damages on the handle was told their baf come with slight imperfection sent the bag back this company had the nerves to charge me $9.82 return fee this was a mothers day gift i was inconvenienced they where not sorry didnt offer any thing im so upset i wish im able to post the pics and emails smh #WARNING do not order the itmes are over priced.

I lost 790$ yesterday because of their dysfunctional payment method. I live in Singapore and eNets is one of the payment method offered. After paying the amount, money taken from my account - they now insisted I’ve never made any order with them when I asked for an email confirmation. The customer service has been awful - I have reached out on 3 different channels - live chat, email, Instagram - none willing to help. Now my money is lost and I do not know how to reclaim it. I lost all trust and would never ever order again. Steer away. Fraud and horrible customer service.

“Worst customer service and return policy”

I purchased a good amount of clothing 2/25. I didn't realized one dress had a snag that eventually will become a whole in the back of the red dress. I guess they don't have a manager today and the two people there didn't even care to help. The first employee said there was nothing there. Really?. I explained I had unforeseen situations come up. Again they didn't care. As matter of fact the second employee walked away as I was saying they lost a customer. At this store they will pretend to be nice to make the sale but when it comes to customer service forget it. They are not very well trained in customer service. You are better of buying from Nordstrom if you like this brand. They do know customer service!

“Does not support US Military deployed”

I recently put in an order for my wife for Christmas and I paid for it and a week later they decided that they can't ship to my address because I'm deployed United States Military and I have an FPO address. I have sent multiple emails with no response. Then I finally talk to someone in online chat and they tell me to wait for tracking number and I never received it! Then the night before Christmas I get an email telling me to provide another address because they are unable to ship to my address but no reason why! There is no disclaimer that says on there site that they do not ship to FPO addresses. Tip for consumers:If you are military and overseas don’t shop here they won’t ship to you and don’t have a reason why !
