While some are self-explanatory concerning creditengine.co.uk, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between creditengine.co.uk and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of creditengine.co.uk. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of creditengine.co.uk, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. creditengine.co.uk is a low-risk website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status

Very useful but as a technophobe didn't realise what was signed to thanks
Took 19.99 £ pounds out of my account.I allready spoke with a lawyer gone through the website and there's no mention of subscription awareness. I'm taking the to court as I did not set up an account with them and can't log in to cancel subscription
The agent took her time to explain the details on my credit file. This was very helpful and well appreciated. Agent encouraged me to continue working on my file to reduce the use of credit and also refrain from adding more or new credits.
Misleading. Seems I’m not the only one mislead reading other reviews on here. Do your due diligence before agreeing to anything with this company. I wish i did. Though once I realised what had happened I was able to cancel my membership/subscription really easily and got a text confirming this. I will keep checking my bank account and should a payment go out of my account after cancelling I will most definitely take it further.
Thieves, set me up on a direct debit I was not aware of while looking for a loan took £19.99 out of my account and ignored my attempts to contact them avoid.
The process of applying for loan and information we got.Led us the customer to belive we would receive funds but we needed to sign up to credit engine to complete process to receive loan .At no point where we informed that this is not case and that we had actual been declined loan .So now we have signed up for service we didn't want or actually need .So truth is we actually spent money on premise we would receive loan and not your services .which is a very big issue that could do with being addressed ASAP. As I believe most ppl would forget about and then end up being a contributing factor off making ppls financial hardship worse and lead ppl to post negative reviews .I myself believed I'd get loan didn't think at any point I'd just signed up for your service .And when entered card details said I'd already registerd account. So tried both emails to sign in but got told no accounts matched emails which is weird as they are only 2 emails I've got so why couldn't I log in ??Gareth Johns
Robbed me of £19.99 did not ask me about this proper sly way of doing it. Why would I agree to pay these when I can get the same for free. Stay clear people don’t touch with a barge pole. Also they make it very hard to cancel. Criminals
Great service and swift responses. I signed up for Credit Engine and, in less than 1 hour afterwards, I was contacted by Tom and Chris who were extremely patient in sorting all my queries and doubts. I would HIGHLY recommend!!!
Scam. I don't remember dealing with this company at all, but they took £19.99 from my account today. So I checked and it seems I've been signed up with them while applying for a loan with a different company. I provided my account details thinking I'd been accepted for this loan. Other reviews show the same issue, and they really do not make it clear that you have not been accepted for a loan and instead they're signing you up under credit monitoring/support service. DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS!Edit after their reply. I only have one email that went into my spam, the information I provided was because I thought I'd been accepted for a loan, at no point was it clear I was signing up to a credit service.2nd Edit. My complaint eventually made it through to someone and I did get a refund. Added a star, but still avoid these people.
When u search for a loan, they use your credentials and create an account. After 14 days from the search they will charge £19.99/month for a subscription. PEOPLE do not choose that. Its illegal. I will raise a grievance to the FCA to investigate this. It will be easy peasy considering the amount of negative reviews everywhere. The audacity! I hope you lot stop existing! ScammersIf you are not scammers honey, then why don’t you send a welcome email where we can see the account created with CE and mentioning of the subscription? This way people would instantly realise and cancel the subscription you lot create automatically based on the soft search you do for people. Ah? Why?Yes you are scammers, otherwise you would not be full of reviews like mine on all platforms! Delusional response, get some dignity!
The lady on the call was really nice and understanding, she talked me through everything and helped me with my problem.
I decided didnt want the service and was able to cancel straight awayy They have an online instant cancel I used then got an sms to say I had cancelled
Natasha was excellent! I’ve spoken to several customer agent reps over the years but I’ve never spoken with anyone as kind, patient and understanding as Natasha. She made me feel heard. She listened attentively, explained everything to my understanding, and pointed me in the right direction. Though the situation didn’t change immediately … but I am confident that as I apply those steps, things will improve. I am grateful to the company for hiring such a kind hearted and articulate person like Natasha. I mean every word.
Hi, Jo was amazing with my query she couldn't have done a better job
The customer advisor gave clear details on every aspect what was owed the reason why it was affecting my credit score and what ways I can do to improve
Credit engine has been taking 19.99 from my account for the past 8 months and I do not know how to cancel them, I never used their services I never signed up to them there are no phone numbers to call no email address nothing. CANCEL THIS ASAP!!!
Their customer service was awesome. They went the extra mile to sort things for myself and very friendly and empathetic unlike some out there. Thanks for your great service and good luck in future.Impressed 😊
In response to my complaint about credit engine I did get this sorted very quickly by a phone call from a lady called Kim who issued my refund.
You have taken money from my sons account. He is only 17 years old so I am pretty sure this is illegal as why would he need support to improve his credit score when he is unable to apply for ANY credit as he is under age. I suggest you make contact with me immediately to arrange a refund before I take this matter to the police

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]
There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
