Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

This is my second order from Cotswold Cameras and I find their delivery and service excellent. I had a query on my lens order and it was sorted quickly with no fuss. I was dubious about using someone so much cheaper for such an expensive item, but the service I received was first rate. Highly recommended.
The price obviously attracted me but made me suspicious. The official imports via Sony are priced according to market and that means a heavy UK premium, often in pounds the same as dollar even with the pound stronger than the dollar. Cotswold import themselves to avoid this. They pay whatever duty and tax so there’s no extra for you. Technically a grey import but legal and above board. Same camera as with main dealers but no Sony official warranty. Cotswold however offer a three year warranty included which could be better so long as they stay in business which seems very likely. Response to email enquiries quick, but unable to change delivery date. Would I use them again? Yes.
Was initially concerned about buying a camera from Cotswold as the cost was so much lower than I could find elsewhere. I read reviews of 'grey imports' and wondered if it was worth the risk. However the service was excellent, the camera arrived well packed and brand new with no issues at all. If you can wait a bit for delivery I would recommend Cotswold.
This is my second purchase and I can't recommend this company enough. Simple, easy order process with regular updates from start to finish. Both orders delivered before the estimated dates. Massive savings too. I will definitely use Cotswold Cameras again without any hesitation.
This was my first order with Cotswold Cameras and I'll definitely use them again without a thought. I bought a Fujifilm H2 & 18mm f1.4 so it was a significant investment for me.I know people have concerns around imported goods but as long as the seller has the guarantee in place which Cotswold Cameras does then for me I don't see it as an issue and especially as international courier services are much better these days. My order arrived in 8 days (6 working days) and everything was perfect. I was especially pleased to see that the Fuji kit was unopened (I had one UK company open my new camera to inspect it which I hate and naturally get suspicious). The no brain'er for me was the cost. My 18mm lens cost a little more then a used one I was watching on eBay. I couldn't have afforded my new equipment at the inflated UK prices, so I'll definitely use Cotswold Cameras again.
Was in contact with them reguarding an order I wanted to make and they responded quickly, went out of their way to fulfill my request so everything would work out for me and the order I made. Great service, great contact and all as promised!Very happy!
After researching the company I placed the order for a camera which arrived with a Uk charger and all expected accessories all well packaged. Delivery time not super fast which again was expected from other reviews. But good communication by email and would be happy to use Cotswold Cameras again in the future. Hence 5*
They did exactly as they promised - delivered within the timescale promised and communicated well throughout the process. The camera is as described, brand new and boxed. Oddly, it was shipped from a location in the UK not listed on their website.
Bought a Lumix lens from them. First purchase. Arrived as promised well packaged and was just what I wanted. A good experience Thanks.
It’s always an unnerving experience when deciding whether to buy a “cheaper” item on the internet. Handing over money to a company that you don’t yet have experience of …. Is it a scam or ???Thankfully my experience with Cotswold cameras was positive and I’ve ending up making four orders in total, spending nearly £8k and every one of the transactions ran smoothly - for each item, within a week I received a “dispatched” e-Mail with a genuine tracking number for me to follow its journey from Hong Kong.I would always say, do your homework and check, check, check before you spend your money on cheaper internet deals; but for me Cotswold cameras has been a positive experience multiple times.
Quite surprised Cotswold were able to beat more well known grey importers for the camera I wanted, delivery took about ten days which was not bad considering it was in UK within five days on a Friday then arrived Tuesday after Bank Holiday. The only niggle was tracking with DHL Express very confusing and at times vague phrases implied more info needed - best to not look I think. No additional charges as they state in FAQs
I purchased three lenses from Cotswold Cameras. All three arrived in perfect condition and on time. Cotswold continues to offer competitive prices. I'm happy with the service and will be shopping with Cotswold again.
Great company, great communication! I needed a quick replacement for my faulty Nikon lens. David assured me it was in stock. Placed an order last Wednesday lunchtime for quick delivery and my boxed Tamron lens was here today at just after 9am (Monday). Brilliant tracking information via UPS. The lens was at the right price and even cheaper in some cases than a used equivalent on eBay. I will have no hesitation using Cotswold Cameras again. Highly recommended.
The whole process from start to finish went very well. The best price I found for the lens and delivered when it was supposed to be.Would certainly use again and recommend to friends.
On ordering my new Lumix S9 camera, I was told when it would arrive and it did, as expected. No problem from ordering to receiving.Took it out last Saturday to Scarborough, took some great shots which are now on the Eyeem web site for sale.
Brilliant Service and stunning savings Very happy with my stunning Sony a6700,I won't be using anyone else than Cotswold cameras 10+ Thanks again Steve from New Brighton
From placing my order I was kept up to date with the whereabouts of my camera and when I would receive it. Today when it arrived I got myself in a bit of a state but on contacting Cotswold Cameras, David was extremely helpful in assisting me with setting up the camera. From getting ready to return my order I am now definitely keeping it and loving it. The customer service of this company is amazing and I am extremely grateful for their help and support. Would definitely recommend Cotswold Cameras
Peddles in gray market stuff. Beware as his phone perpetually goes unanswered. Hence do not expect any kind of after sales service. All alarm bells must ring in your mind when you are on his website. I made a mistake of placing an order for a Nikon 660GB CFexpress card which I am trying to cancel but can not. Learn from my mistakes & avoid a bigger tragedy. I asked if the product was a 10000% genuine Nikon product & a cursory reply circumvented the question by saying: It is brand new & imported!I have black listed this so called “family run business”. It’s actually a one man show run by David Fleet & a Hong Kong Chinese compatriot
Great price. I was really content to wait five days for it. Delighted with the camera and service.
Fast efficient service at a good price. Product exactly as expected
