cotosen.com Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives cotosen.com one of the lowest trust scores on the platform: 8.7. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 8.7 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to cotosen.com's industry. The algorithm detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Untrustworthy. Risky. Danger. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning cotosen.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between cotosen.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of cotosen.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of cotosen.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. cotosen.com is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether cotosen.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether cotosen.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

15% discount on my first order. That was the key motivator for me. Cant really rate the merchandise until I receive it. This is the first time I've ever ordered from this merchant.
The styles, the price and the quality is just awesome. Still waiting for my first order to arrive, hopefully I won't be disappointed...... Watch this space!
The quality of the items were subpar and I wrote in to return them. I give two stars because they did respond initially and gave me the option to return or get some credit back. Once I requested the credit back option, they were unresponsive. I reached out an additional four times and never heard back another word. $50 lesson learned to not trust random clothing companies online. I should have read up about them before ordering.
Let me first say this review should be a "5" star and it still could be. I ordered coats for my daughter and 2 grans. I've been trying to initiate an exchange for my daughter because the coat is too small. I've submitted 2 requests online as directed and no response yet in just about 2 weeks time. Cotosen states they would respond in 72 hours. It hasn't happened yet. The grans and daughter loved the coats. Can I please get some assistance on this order: 30885241212920?
WELL,we got our package it took a lil longer than I thought BUT totally was like pictures the hoodies where Real nice everyone LOVED them soft and cozy The hats where just perfect WE ALL LOVED them warm and COOL !! LOVED EVERYTHING THANK YOU COSOTEN !😍
I continue to comment here as its the only time I receive a response from these people. My last post was titled "the frustration continues" . The response I received requests more detail. Its a complete joke as I have issued everything requested. They are in breach of The Consumer Rights Act 2015, not that they are bothered about legal niceties. Cotosen, instead of AI apologies please inform me of how I return the low quality, sub-standard, not fit for purpose and not as advertised goods. No other legit retailers act in this wayAre you trying to time me out ?
So far very happy with the quality and style of the clothes. I came back and shipped for my boyfriend too. We are going vintage boho changing out style and he loved my need outfits
Negative stars if I could- do not buy from here!Ordered a 'Carhart' Barn jacket- it's almost a velvet material! it is not legit Carhart! They did sew a Carhart label on the front, other than that NO actual label from them. Disputed with my bank thinking it would never come, it did 3 weeks later to open to a fraud. I paid $90 for this coat, I did get an email response from their customer service to send a photo, I did and no response since for a refund.
I‘m convinced by that good quality at this low PriceThank you for shipping so quickly!
They never sent my order after reading reviews I realized I was taken in I ordered in the beginning of December still haven't received anything.oh the 1 star I had to fill in Stars so I could write this..I see some of the reviews ordered the coat I did I also order 3 shirts I dread what my order ends up looking like.but it's been long enough they could have carried it here by now on horse back..I didn't know it was coming from China until after I ordered
Response to Cotosen reply: Why are you so quick to respond to a bad review but never responded to any of my 4 attempts to get an return authorization. The item was supposed to be suede and lamb's wool. It was neither. It was such a cheap piece of garbage I wouldn't even want to wear it to do yard work. I immediately contacted them for a return authorization as per their website instructions and never heard back from them after 4 attempts.
I wish I looked them up before I placed this order. Ordered 2 coats that looked great in the photos but when received, way after Christmas, they looked absolutely nothing like the photos. Now trying to return them I fill out the return form and it will not accept the verification code so it will not go through. I tried several times. So I figure I will call but the number is not correct. It has an extra digit. Scam!!!!
I ordered a coat and paid for separate shipping on a pair of leather pants and paid on the site. Received via 17 that package was coming and shipping would be several weeks. Well I did receive the tracking number and watched the tracker get to Atlanta and then is was returned . I finally got hold of customer service and they said that I would have to pay to reship the order as well as the return fee. Guy I spoke with said he could cancel the order or charge me again. I said no thank you. Sketch, sketch, sketchy!!! For real
I have messaged this company three times because I was sent a pullover when I ordered a jacket. My nephew was really looking forward to this and I was completely ripped off. No one is answering my email and when you try to do the contact us version and enter the code, it’s invalid. I have learned my lesson but it’s painful. 76.00 jacket I paid for and got something worth 10.00 and no one will respond.
What makes me experience that because when I saw the hooting? He caught my Eyes. and I knew that this company got some greater merchandise.
It took a long time and the tracking scares you a little but it came and fit absolutely perfect and looked good on me. So I'm satisfied enough ima try it again 😆 🤣
Seems the sale price is genuinely pretty good. Which is surprising, most companies seem to feign a good deal.
Ordered item, arrived quite quickly. Same it’s not genuine. Emailed twice to request a return - as per their website- and still waiting for a response…With regards to the response to this review (below) - I’d be more than happy to provide you with more details, just try responding to one of the the three emails I’ve sent to the address you provided
I really liked the looks of the styles & the large selection. I placed 2 orders but have yet to receive them. I will update my review once I receive the several products I ordered. I am updating my review from 4 stars to 5. I recently received the 1st of 2 of my orders. The clothes are very well made & fit perfectly. I had to convert the sizes to US sizes & the conversion was perfect. The items I ordered were for cooler weather. The materials are light, not too bulky & very warm. I'm looking forward to my other package & will definitely order from this company again. In fact, I have an order in my cart I'm ready to place. I'm just waiting for my 2nd package before I proceed. Great products! Thank you.
I am wanting to return an item back for a refund as it is not how it looks on photo and I have contacted them about 5 times for the return addreas as you get 30 days to return it and i dont want to end up paying for it. They are a nightmare trying to contact. 30885241126664 jen

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

Bitdefender blocked this and it starts as " Fraud Attempt www.cotosen.com/activity/ bestseller. This is a Chinese hack...BEWARE

These people are selling crap made in China that in no way even resembles what is pictured on line. Then they make ridiculous offers of discounts on future orders when a refund is requested. I spent $105 on 5 items, got only 3, and was offered a $20 refund. When I pressed them for a return address, I was given and address in China. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!

  3. Erin

This company is a complete scam! Cheap clothes not made nearly as good as advertised. I cancelled my order within 10 minutes of making it after researching reviews. They violated their so-called policy about initiating a full refund if cancelled in 24 hrs of ordering. I still do not have a refund and I would ve embarassed to give these clothes to anyone.

  4. Ray

Complete scam as people say. Very cheap clothes, and also seconds. Can do better on streets of cities buying 3 better quality t-shirts for $10.00. revieved one item and there was simply no collar...it was just missing...

  5. Des

I fell for the scam. Ordered $85 worth of utter rubbish. Cheapest quality not even remotely resembling the marketing material. Stay away!

  6. Mike

Scam. Chinese company. I ordered $127 in clothing and never received the merchandise; its been 3 months. Capitol One disputed my complaint stating the company had proof that my order was received. Thanks Capitol One, credit card cancelled. Stay away from this worthless company.

  7. Disapointed

My order came. None of the items matched the pictures. Poor quality material, fake button holes, undersized and nonworking zipper.

At Least You got Something, I never got Anything At All. DISGUSTED

  9. M W

Their ads look great and the prices are ok and could be a great company with good sells and make money, BUT, !!! they ship the lowest quality ,worst looking stuff I have ever seen , if they ship it at all. If the clothes were as good as they look it could be a great place, BUT !!!! they took the low road and are a rip off, what a SHAME !

  10. Toby

I ordered a jacket from them 2 months ago and still have not received it. They continue to tell me to be patient, that they are behind on shipping because of COVID. I requested a refund but have yet to hear back from them. It's definitely a scam.

I want my money back. I got scammed by Cotosen.com. By doing a reverse image (plagiarism) search through Google image, I found that Cotosen used images of high quality clothing as used by farfetch.com, celebsleatherjacket.com, walmart.com, ouku.com, amazon.ca, and yorkloves.com. The shirt I received was not at all like the quality of the image on their website. I want a refund for my purchase of Men's Outdoor Vintage Colour Henley Collar XL Khaki Shirt, which was sent to my address in Australia and had the price as $29.99 plus delivery of $10.99 to be a total of $40.98, but when I looked at my bank records it showed I had paid $60.68. When I discovered this I found the price had quoted was in US dollars, even though they advertise in Australia and the faulty shirt was made by an Australian address, and when I look in Orders on their website it still says $29.99 (no mention of the currency) even though their address is in Hong Kong and my bank payment records shows it was received in Kent County Great Britain. I discovered in my reverse image research using google images, that I could have bought the same shirt from aliexpress for $AU39.13 including delivery, and I am tempted to place this order to see if it is as described instead of the one I got from Cotosen. The shirt is useless. There is a white mark about 4cm long on the front of the shirt, it looks like a trace of bleach, the button holes are not holes and it is impossible to button up the shirt, and the dye on the shirt is very blotchy. Moreover I cancelled my order on 01/01/2023 the day after I had placed my order and two hours (14:39) before they sent me an email at 16:35 to say the shirt had been shipped. I did this after reading so many bad reviews of Cotosen. I will continue to request reversal of my payment made to them, through the process called Transaction Dispute by my bank, and as a precaution I cancelled my debit card, please see the reviews below which describe them as a scamming company. I got email replies from them, possibly because I send all email correspondence to my bank, an first Norman of service at cotosen.com offered me a voucher for $11 (unclear if this is $US or $AU), and when I asked for their address to send it back to them for a full refund, I got a reply from Arganda Jen, with an offer of a partial refund of $8. I got their address from Arganda Jen of Cotosen so I can return the shirt. It is Receiver: Liu Rongfeng Address: Tuode Industrial Park, 1st Road, Jiaoli East District, Zhongtang Town, City: Dongguan State: Guangdong Country: China Zip Code: 523000 Phone number: 13713088707 And I wonder if their Hong Kong address is correct because when I look up the address on their website it is Unit 17, 9/f., New Mandarin Plaza No 14 Science Museum Road, Tsimshatsui, Kowloon Hong Kong, but I can only find Import Genius as the occupants. And when I dial +85253479176, which is the phone number on their website, I always get a recorded message saying "The number you have dialed cannot be reached at the moment. Please try again later." And I found another 3 addresses for Cotosen as being in Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong where they also trade as Topin Trading, and Room 1501, 181 Queens Road Central, Grand Millennium Plaza, Hong Kong, where they as Fashionicon Trading Ltd (is it a con in fashion?) and another in Santa Fe California 90670 (as recorded by bbb.org see below) When I did a search of Cotosen reviews I found an extraordinary range of negative reviews which reported them as a scamming organisation from:- 1. au.trustpilot.com 2. productreview.com.au 3. sitejabber.com 4. 99consumer.com 5. scam-detector.com 6. de-reviews.com 7. bbb.org [https://www.bbb.org/us/ca/sant-fe-springs/profile/online-retailer/cotosen-1216-1633982/details#all-alerts] 8. reddit.com 9. Watchlist Internet (based in Austria) [https://www.watchlist-internet.at/] 10. scamadviser.com 11. quora.com 12. YouTube Cotosen scam And 17track.net, the tracking platform they use, also has a terrible reputation, as being used by scamming companies. Kind regards, Garry
