Is contorion.de Legit?

The worst store in my experience. The product was ordered on June 7, 2024, and waiting for more than a month did not yield any results. The goods were never sent. Today, July 16, 2024, I canceled the order DE664686795 myself, without waiting for my order. Avoid this store. Totally unreliable and will let you down at any moment.

Contorion keeps sending me invoices and payment-reminders even though I have already paid for the goods. It looks like this shop is trying to scam it’s customers.

Very fast delivery and good prices. Package was OK, but bubble wrap was used for a Product which is not at all sensitive (vacuum cleaner bags)

Great store, good sales service, something that is missing in many shops these days. I Bought a husqvana chainsaw, was shipped fast and assembled, the shop handled the initial assembely and manufactures registration, got an email about a week after the purchass that it was carried out.

The order was managed very fast, transported and packed perfectly. The Goods arrived in perfect shape and the communication during order and delivery was excellent.

Bought some nice tools. Very long delivery time longer than I expected. Shipping time only also much too longly. Nearly three stars only but products is good.

This company is a joke. They are claiming delivery time is 1-2 days. They didn't even book payment in that time. After 2 e-mails eventually booked money and send goods after a week but sent it wrongly (didn't put company name in the adress and DHL returned it) even if I marked correctly adress in the webpage formula and I additonally send 3 message to not forget put name of the company on the package (they did exacly the same with my other order before). After goods were returned they change delivery time for 2-3 weeks??? I will be waiting for my package for month and it should be in 1-2 days. Additionally contact is extremly slow. I never ordered from a shop that bad and I'm doing online purchase for more then 10 years...I'm not even sure if I will get my money back (3 to 5 days they said but on the delivery time it is writen 1-2 days so I guess money back can also take up to 2-3 monts) If i would want my goods on Christmas Eve (its 8 of May now) I would wrote to Santa!

What I expected, I got quality at a fair price. As fast and reliable as ever.

1. Doesn't deliver goods, keeps reporting delays2. They act like AOL customer service reps from 2004 when trying to cancel the order (they make it difficult to cancel wnd become abusive. 3. When they cancel orders, refunds are not automatic. You have to bother then separately for the refund4. They accept payment from PayPal, but don't participate in conflict resolution 5. They demand you end the paypal dispute to trick you into giving up your buyer protection and guarantee of getting the money back, even though they can give the refund back through PayPal to resolve the conflict. They lie and claim funds are frozen and they can not resolve the conflict that they created. Last update: I contacted the manufacturer of the item Contorion didn't ship, claiming delays. The manufacturer said the item is immediately available and no idea why Contorion is delaying. I sent that info to Contorion, along with a message stating I know they are trying to trick me into giving uo my buyer protection, so I will leave it to PayPal and wait, but get my money back with certainty. Ten minutes later I had the email from paypal that Contorion refunded me, thus ending the dispute, which they claimed was not possible. They keep missing shipping dates and shifting them later. It might be 2019 before I receive my item. Ordered in August, was willing to wait, then they changed the status and never informed me. I called them, they just read off whatever was on the site. No help at all and seemed like they were from a call center. Ok, so delay 1, I continue to wait and now into September, on the day of promised shipment, they moved the order to the end of September. No answer yet to cancel the order, so will file a paypal claim DO NOT buy anything here without paypal. Also German companies are not what they used to be: it used to be safe to buy from German companies, but no more; we have tons of companies now that have popped up, some under reputable parent companies, and they seemingly are in business only to raise money and take orders for items they don't have. Other examples are Exxpozed and Outdoor24. In the time between order and refund (which takes a huge effort), the company can do quite a bit of investing with that cash flow. Maybe eventually a pyramid-shaped bubble will burst...Update: requests to cancel the order and refund my money, both via email and telephone, have been ignored. Paypal case opened. Second update : the company canceled the order, but has not released the money. I called them and it was pretty near calling AOL to cancel bsck in the mid-2000s. They claim no responsibility, lie, and become extremely abusive before hanging up. Now Contorion is telling me to cancel the Paypal dispute and ONLY then will they give the money back, which is nonsense. The conflict is that they aren't giving money back, and they want me to close the case before they resolve the conflict? They have chosen to not deal with paypal, not return the money, and even called to demand I close the dispute, which PayPal has warned against because then there is no protection and Contorion will likely not return the money. DO NOT end disputes in order to get the money back. Paypal will give you the money back eventually, but if you end the dispute, Contorion may never give it to you. They can easily make a refund to resolve a dispute and they can easily answer paypal and document it, but they don't deal with Paypal for disputes. Don't trust companies just because they are German. The market here is unsafe and it was only a matter of time before it was exploited by these types.
