MAJOR SCAM
Paid $5.95 for shipping, supposed to be for a Macbook from Costco. After reading the reviews here, I called my bank and they reissued a new debit card and deactivated the old card so no further charges can be made. I have to call back in 2 days and they will dispute the charge and refund me the $5.95. I'm glad I read these reviews. I'm usually good about avoiding scams. If this happens to you, call your bank right away because they will continue to make higher and higher debits from your card.

Ordered a "free" item, with $6 S&H. I swear there was no obvious statement saying I was signing up for a "membership". I'm old enough to be aware of scams like this, but I got fooled. Once I finished a page from this company came up saying I could pick 1 gift,free except for shipping and handling. I looked at what was being offered and chose an oxygen meter because I have copd.S&H was $7.45,no problem. Then on 12/20/21 I noticed a charge of $49.95 taken out of my checking account by the same company, I called the company and was told by customer service that I had signed up for a subscription to the store when I took the survey.Which I definitely did not!Anyway they canceled the subscription but would not refund the money taken from my account. I'm still trying to get them to refund my money since it was taken by fraud.....Sincerely Norma Killam
EXACTLY!! what happened to me. EXACTLY the dates and amounts of money!! I called they offered 30% refund. I told them to pound sand. I will let my FRAUD protection take over.
I purchased a battery-operated headlamp at a good price of $7.95, advertised in exquisite detail both textually and with an accompanying video clip. Great Product, great price. As I later discovered from my VISA bill, not so great. What they are really selling is a $55/month recurring subscription to a gift card for more products you probably don't need. That subscription is made abundantly clear in all their upfront product descriptions, right? ABSOLUTELY NOT, I REPEAT ABSOLUTELY NOT. The subscription scam is buried in the Terms and Conditions, which is buried in the miscellaneous links at the bottom of the slick product advertisement. When finally contacted, the company promptly canceled my subscriptions, offered me a $16 refund on my $55 dollar subscription fee, and warned me if I disputed the claim, the $16 refund would no longer be available. AS VISA is handling my disputed claim, I decided to decline the rebate and trust VISA's fraud protection power to handle the issue. The bottom line, this company clearly engages in false/misleading advertising, hiding their true product in the obscure Terms and Conditions print. Would not recommend doing business with this company.
This is the biggest SCAM ever! I filled out an online survey that looked like it was from WALMART! They offered me a free gift for doing it and I only had to pay a shipping fee. The "gift" was a flimsy neck massager that even with several attempts at putting in batteries, never did work. It was sticky and could only be applied a few times. GARBAGE! Then I find out they are billing me $49 a month and are supposed to be sending me certificates in my email every month to spend on more of their CRAPPY products. I did not get these and if I had, I would have known that I "belonged" to a CLUB that I had no intention of being involved with. There was NO MENTION of this in the promotion from Walmart. I can't believe WALMART would be involved in this SCAM. I have also received this "SURVEY SCAM" from HomeDepot and recently from COSTCO. These guys need to be SHUTDOWN!!!
I also received an email supposedly from Walmart offering a variety of free gifts, but with a $9.97 shipping fee. I picked a "free" electric heater that looked fairly substantial from the photo. When i arrived it was about 8 inches tall, and didn't heat! Then I discovered that 5 days later I had been billed $54.97 for the "free" heater. The following month I was billed $56.95 for a "membership". I reported this to Bank America, and they canceled my credit card, and sent me a new one. In the meantime Consumer Products Direct agreed to refund my "membership" fee if I would not pursue them further.
This company is deceitful, underhanded, and unscrupulous. I never saw this coming. A free watch offer and only pay shipping. The watch won't charge after 20 hours. Not to mention the instructions suck and nothing in the instructions on how to charge it. Then 2 days later a charge on my card for $67.32 for me "joining" a club. I went back and re-looked at the order form and found that no where on that page does it direct you to terms and conditions or indicate you are joining a club. They got you legally because it is in the TERMS and CONDITIONS in a link at the bottom. I was also supposed to receive a $200 voucher which I didn't get. I spoke to them. I am (supposedly) getting a 70% refund, a $125 voucher, and a new watch. This is all provided I don't contact my bank because if I do then everything reverts back to I get nothing. These sites need to be shut down, but, unfortunately I prefer to come away with something. I will talk to my bank to at least let them know.
Consumerdirectsavings/Newdeals is a bogus website under several other names I was on a patriot channel n an ad for an overstocked dash cam giveaway just pay shipping n handl.$5.67 Ordered the cam (I thought I was buying it thru patriot channel )cam came 4 days later with illegeable instructions...then 2 days after that I find withdrawal of $67.32 from Newdeals. Called # 8554573115 n was told by recce.the cam offer I agreed to joining their co.at a $67.32 monthly fee.Argued with the operator n she cancelled sub.but wouldn't refund my $.but did say that I would rcv.a voucher for $124 to use on products from online.I searched newdeals to no avail called back 2days later n was told website was consumerdirectsavings n was given a new voucher #. Consumerdirectsavings is not available on website....$72.98 for a free dash cam that I can't operate..Beware!
Yes I have dealt with this website. Website? What Website, this site the phone number doesn't go through at all and then when I go to the site to get my money back that they stole cuz I didn't authorize what they took out of my account and when I go to site to contact them they want more info from me. That's bullshit. So no don't do business with them they will charge you more than what they say.
Consumer Direct Savings is a BIG SCAM!! They will tell you you've won something, but only pay the shipping. Then a week later you're charged like $60 for some membership to their club, that you joined at the time you paid the shipping fee for your free merch (i.e. small print) These guys are scams, stay far away from these bitches!
I ordered a WiFi Booster through an email I received for $5.80, but an entity named Perpetual Home Living charged my account $64.99. Called the number on my debit from my bank account and I refused the credit for merchandise that they offered. I asked what company I was dealing with and was told Consumer Direct Savings. Then I was offered 40% refund which amounted to $25.99, which means they keep $39.00 for absolutely nothing. I repeatedly told her I was contacting the Fraud Division at my bank, which I did. I filed. Fraud Cardholder Dispute with my bank and had to cancel my debit card so they can’t make any more charges to my card. These people use many different companies in their email fraud to cover their trail. I also filed a fraud complaint with the attorney general’s office in my home state. You can also file a fraud complaint with the federal government under their Consumer Protection Department. The only way to stop these thieves is to expose them in every way possible. They scam people by making their emails look like they are from some reputable business. It is the quintessential bait and switch routine.
Ordered a 'free' smart watch - just pay shipping- from consumerdirectsavings.com. Next thing I know, I have been charged $67.32 with no valid website address, just a phone number to a 3d party customer service company which explained that this was a monthly access fee for consumerdirectsavings.com - which my credit card had declined, thank goodness. Customer service did cancel the 'order.' I usually read the 'fine print' when ordering, but I never saw this one.
i can say they are crooks, i called them several times about different things and they all gave me the same cancelation #! they have a script they read to you and promise to send you a gift card that never comes . they should be jailed in china!
This company is a scam. Do not do business with them. They will ship defective merchandise, continue to charge accounts, are unavailable for support. They are serviced by a 3rd party call center.
i agree with all of the above complaints. This get a gift for the cost of shipping is bogus. I was then, as all above, charge $59.92 for membership to "Wellnesshealthcondition". Called the number and learned they were a front for Consumer Dirct Saving Company and that I had signed up for a membership. Got the membership cancelled. They offered me 50% refund of membership charge which means they get $30 of my money for a service I did not sign up for. Also they have asians working at the central call center that can hardly speak english. Sons a bitches
I feel that this outfit is using a 'bait and switch' program based upon my experience with this company. They claimed that they had publized all of the information needed for the public to decide what to do. At NO time did I see this information anywhere on their web-site. After several phone calls, I was able to hopefully get a refund which I should see in the next several days. Like others, they tried to get me to accept a lesser amount dealing with the refund and I held my ground. Fraud doesn't even come close to describe this despicable, shady operation. Made an order, received a really crummy product for little money. Figured that was enough and I wouldn't order from them again. I tried another company and got similar results so I didn't order from then either. I noticed they were always a stationary company or a photography supply business with very similar phone numbers, only the last two digits varied. This was worrisome but could be a coincidence. I called them to see which sent what. One said I shouldn't have been charged as nothing was sent while the other more expensive one from resourceful stationary was a charge I supposedly signed up for a membership in a club. If there was anything on the site I never saw it. I canceled everything but next month I'm billed again by a similar or even the same company.

I caution everyone to look out for Consumer Direct Savings. Supposedly I was informed when I took advantage of a good price for a portable vacuum that I would be charged some $ 44 monthly, but I remember no such commitment. The "customer service" department agent said that she is "not allowed" to connect me to a supervisor and kept telling me to disconnect from the call and call the same number back -- "and you can speak to someone else," as if that would produce any other results. my account was charged $39.99/ when i called the number on my bank acct associated with DYNAMICL i was told they would contact the owners who then said they would only refund $19.95 because it happened last month. when i finally found out who DYNAMICL it is Consumer Direct Savings. I am inthe club of getting scammed by consumerdirectsavings. The offer was I pay only shipping but instead, they charged by card twice. Once of shipping and again $67.46. I called the 877 number and was told I would receive a $200 gift card. Never did. Called again and they gave me a code. I will not use the code, I do not trust them and I will eat the $67 and lesson learned. I also may end up cancelling the card. This is a PIA because I have many automatic billings to this account, such as cell phone, cable TV, etc.

I received an email offer from consumerdirectsavings.com of a great gun holster for free with only a Mastercard charge of $5.82. I should have read their Terms & Conditions. By giving them my credit card info, they did send me a very nice holster but they also signed me up for a subscription for miscellaneous gadgets at $86.31 per month.
