Always check the WHOIS database If you have suspicions about any ads on YouTube or similar platforms. If the owner and their address is redacted, 95 percent of the time it's because they are hiding. Also comparison.org does not have HTTPS- of course, it wouldn't. The WHOIS database shows that comparison.org. Is registered in Canada, not Israel. Comparison.org, if it was indeed shut down at some point, it is back up and all over YouTube. YouTube should take responsibility for this. YouTube should be made to take responsibility for this as it is indeed a scam of one of the worst sorts. Likely the guy who gives the spiel about comparison.org didn't even know anything about the so-called company and was just hired because he sounds convincing. And, truth be told, car insurance rates, even with the discounts offered by the insurance companies, are way too high. If that were not the case, sites like comparison.org, wouldn't even exist. It doesn't really even matter how few miles one person drives in a year at all. I had the same car for 12 years and only have 15,000 miles on it and I still can't get basic liability insurance for less than $325 every six months. No matter what. I can't afford comprehensive. So if my car is stolen, it's just tough luck thanks to price-gouging insurance companies.

I'm not really sure what these folks are supposed to be doing, but I do know that when pitching their spiel to folks in Mississippi, they are using racist dog-whistles to do so - they use the replaced racist Southern Nazi flag for Mississippi - oversight? Honest mistake? Seriously doubt it.

“Worthless”

They have a 1 star rating because you can't give zero. Why offer an online comparison then just send you to another site to get a quote from one company. I have tried homeowner and car insurance and always end up with a link to one or two companies but never a comparison. Afterwards, I get bombarded with calls and emails from agencies wanting to sell me insurance. Take my word for it pick a two or three quality insurance companies and contact them directly.

“Just a way to get your information”

I ended up giving out way to much information and then found that they do not even send this information the the insurance companies that use their services. The actual insurance company has to ask the same questions again. They don't ask for your SSN and your drivers license number. On top of that, none of the insurance providers provide the advertised deals. One of the claims is that your insurance can be as low as $19 a month if you don't drive much. The actual quotes for a minimum policy were 3 times higher. There are about 6 different companies that use this ploy. It appears that several may be using the same software to record your data. So far, the only price has been more telemarketing and more unwanted email. I hope it ends there.

I came across a recommendation that they could safe me on Auto Insurance. Unfortunately I gave them my information but before I hit the "Get your Quote" button and saw at the bottom of the page that they are located in Israel! Didn't go any further, but they do have some of my info! BEWARE!

Wonder what a dot org company in Israel has to do with any sort of comparisons of ANYTHING in the US? Guessing they are comparing the information that stupid people are giving them? Scammers. Avoid them like the plague.

Go on-line, and your telephone rings, and there is an $#*! bugging you, being rude, and you didn't even ask him to call, and he thought he was special or something, talking like was some sort of mobster, or something, I ended up letting my partner listen to him a bit, because hearing this guy talk, was hard to describe, and I wanted him to hear this garbage guy for himself! He kept going on and on, about what I am going ++to b+ring to the table, for my supplimental social security plan, and the website said I should look into possible changes, but I had no ideal, I would get some jack-off calling, and pissing us off, wiith they way he presented himself, Glad to see www.camparisons, org is gone, did not help you inany way possible!

The most deceptive insurance site I have ever seen. First they use. Org which is supposed to be for non-profits only. Then, you do not get any comparisons done. Just push their own crap. Should be banned and prosecuted for fraud the SOBs

What a load of BS! I've done this nearly every year for the las 5-7 years and have never been able 2 save more'n' 5-10 dollars. I used to save money by paying annually, but most if not all refuse to do this. They especially want you to pay monthly because it generates more bookkeeping for them hence they charge more because their overhead is more doing it this way. There's no way to take a photo of something they're doing since you can never access their records. I drive less than 3900 miles per year, I've had a perfect driving record for over 30 years. Not one claim for anything for that period of time & they all want to screw me by saving me a maximum of 5-10 dollars per year. My 2006 Honda Civic has less than 53,500 miles on it & I drive 11.2 miles per day. I'll be shocked if this review ever reaches public eyes.

They are effectively stealing from the elderly and working people who don't need to lose the money they pay to Choice Home Warranty - CHW is no value - a complete scam, and so are your ratings. Tip for consumers:Choice Hone Warranty is a complete scam, they will delay, block, and deny claims until the consumer just gets tired and gives up - they have no intention of covering claims. Beware if you’re thinking of using this company - there are thousand of people on social media having the same issues, do your due diligence before buying.

“Same Crap site / info scam as everyone else.”

They get you by comparing potential great rates because of a "new policy" your state has the "insurance companies don't want you to know about". They put real premiums similar to what you're paying, and then show how much less you can pay in comparison. Then they ask your info, get it, and dump you into sites with no quotes - like AAA insurance, or Farmers. When you click on those, you just have to give them all the same info... as if you didn't already just input all that info in their fake site. I didn't see it was a ". Org" - I should have... I run a non-profit. I just went along with the BS... but I did give them the wrong phone number (I hate phone calls)... but they have my name, a junk email address I use to sign up for things, real home address, birth date, and car types. They can spend $ to snail mail me I guess.

But their ad kept popping up everywhere so I decided to check it out. You have to give them all your information, and in the end? No savings! My phone started ringing before I was even done completing it. They just want your information so they can sell it. Don't do it!

Their ads tempting you with lower priced car insurance are a scam. I even tried writing their umbrella company and the mail bounced so they are not even legit. Beware and stay away!

Comparison.org is not alone in duping the public. Those Insurance companies that allow their names to be affiliated with this organization are equally responsible. This complaint is nothing new in America. Look to our elected officials from the highest to the lowest and I am sure 90% operate just this side of thievery. “Clickbait lies, terrible ad campaigns”

I have been seeing ads for this company for weeks, and it is target marketing bold-faced lies like "Nevada DMV: drivers with no DUIs are getting a payday Wednesday.". First off, this website is not the DMV yet presents itself as the DMV informing customers of a cash benefit for not having DUIs. Pretty sure pretending to be a government agency is a federal offense. Furthermore, saying that a government agency is going to fiscally reward me for good performance as a citizen seems a bit rediculous, since it is not your money to promise out. Which leads me to my next point. Second point being that after all the lies and BS on the ad itself, once you click it the page it takes you to has next to nothing contextually about the title. A person or people that run audaciously criminal information farming campaigns such as this have to be sociopathic monsters with no morals or possibly even souls. Websites and companies should never let this company advertise on their webpages if they value their visitors privacy, and allowing them to advertise on them only makes that company look bad.

“A WASTE OF MY TIME!”

I clicked on (what I now realize was an advertisement for this online company) A link explaining how insurance companies are not making consumers aware of discounts they could Qualify for. I spent time filling out information that was required. After the completion of one page I would be redirected to another, and then a third. As I was about to finish filling out the third page of information a phone call from the company came through. The gentleman proceeded to verify my answers and then just blindly picked an insurance company to transfer my call to. When the insurance company came on the line, I was expected to start all over again from scratch just as if I was calling to check on rates. No way is this reviews comparison.or affiliated with any insurance company. It is a way to gather your information and sell it to who knows else. I am now getting phone calls from different insurance companies asking me for a review quote. I already know that I am getting the best quote with my insurance company because they did ask me all of the specific questions that qualified me for discounts that reviews comparisons. Orrick is claiming they don't ask. This company is a scam artist only to collect your information and give/share/sell to whomever. Any consumers can do on their own what this insurance company claims they do for you. All you have to do is take the time to call and check your rates yourself. This was a waste of my time today. I'm so irritated how many companies are out there deceiving the public
