collectmasters.nl Review

The Scam Detector website Validator gives collectmasters.nl a pretty low trust score on the platform: 16.6. It signals that the business could be defined by the following tags: Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same issues. So, why this low score? We came up with the 16.6 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to collectmasters.nl's industry. The algorithm flagged its seemingly suspicious success, even with a newly registered domain. It also detected high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors noted in the Controversial. High-Risk. Unsafe. tags above. Long story short, we recommend staying away from this website. But let's explain in more detail.

Explaining Our Analytical Approach

We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:

  • Proximity to Suspicious Websites
  • Threat Profile
  • Phishing Profile
  • Malware Score
  • Spam Score
  • Domain Blacklist Status
  • HTTPS connection
  • Domain Creation Date

While some are self-explanatory concerning collectmasters.nl, let's dive deeper into the remaining ones.

Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites

This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between collectmasters.nl and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.

Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam

These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of collectmasters.nl. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of collectmasters.nl, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. collectmasters.nl is a suspicious website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.

Domain Blacklisting Status

This term indicates whether collectmasters.nl has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.

Assessing HTTPS Connectivity

This section provides insight into whether collectmasters.nl boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.

Safe Check

We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, collectmasters.nl.

CollectMasters are illegal!CollectMasters cooperate with luxplus.nl on gray scheme to con people with unwanted subscriptions. Luxplus subsribes you silently for a membership and when you cancel a subscription transaction then CollectMasters chase to pay it back.
I purchased products from Luxplus. To my surprise, this purchase automatically enrolled me in a subscription without my consent. During the checkout process, there was no option to opt in or out of the subscription, nor was there any clear information abut an automatic subscription. Despite this, € 8.95 was debited from my account without my authorization, which I have since reversed. One month after this reversal, I received messages and phone calls from this disgusting company Collectmasters, acting on behalf of Luxplus, threatening legal action if I did not pay. Initially, they demanded an amount of €50, significantly higher than the original €8.95, along with threats of involving a bailiff etc.Violation of Consumer Protection LawLuxplus’s practices do not comply with the Dutch Consumer Protection Act, specifically regarding information and consent requirements. By law, a consumer must be clearly informed in advance about any obligations associated with a purchase, including the ability to either accept or decline a subscription. I was not given this option, nor did I provide explicit consent, rendering the imposed payment obligation invalid.I immediately reported to the police in Culemborg and ACM.To anyone out there suffering from the threatens made by collectmasters, please DO NOT PAY and file a complaint through police and ACM as well. What they do is illegal and against Dutch Law.I will take further legal actions if collectmasters continues calling or emailing me.
Can confirm all negative review. Those are scammers, could not even copy-paste their text without faults. Do not pay them, all their claims are illegal.
I warn as much as I can, aggressive money collection policy, they cooperate with luxplus, they created a system of extracting money from people for an alleged unpaid subscription, the case was reported to the consumer rights ombudsman, they have already deceived a lot of people in this way
I just put a star BCz I had same condition they sent me letter for membership which I've never known about as shop which called Lux plus, they'll sing you as a member without telling you and then suddenly they charge you for 50 €Let Me know folks if you find any solution about this,or how long they gonna steal from people,
I registered this account here only for writing this review...Collectmasters sent many emails and letters to ask us to buy €51,76 (original amount was €9,95 and the rest are incassokosten) for their parnter Luxplus... no idea why we have to buy this but it's just so Fxxxx annoying to see their emails and letters again and again... so we just paid, it sucks but we're sure one day CollectMasters and Luxplus will be punished. We also reported this to the police, they say they're collecting many complaints already...so if you're the victims, please don't hestitate and report his to the police...
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!They will harrass you saying you owe another company money which is a SCAM! I have reported it to the Consumer authorities in the Netherlands. INCASSO will mislead you! Buyer beware! If you have been harasses by them, please call Consumer Authority 0880707070. Make a report and lets help other consumers not become victims to this corrupt company! Please spread the word!
Unbelievable. Luxplus and collectmaster are proud to collect money from their so-called subscribers who are not aware of. They dont sympathized and guilty but proud of their fraud marketing instead. What i dont understand that they have the nerve to collect money without them paying back service. I ordered once and i have to pay monthly. Who has a sound mind doing it? I called collectmaster many times and corrected them as im willing to pay as im taking it as my fault not seeing it well wherever they put that tricky provision. However, luxplus sent me incorrect dates of bill statement that i missed to pay one bill. Luxplus sent me a bill later after i asked and complain the automatic incasso. After many exchanged of emails, i called. Last call, a collectmaster receptionist told me that i do not have to pay anymore means they accepted their mistake. I asked repeatedly- if i still need to pay as im willing just give me the correct bill- the collectmaster said - no not anymore. Okay that was it. But after 2 wks of peace of mind, i received again an email from collectmaster asking to pay of 50e. Hahaha belachelijk. Now I stopped talking to this mafia. I have my records of telefoon calls and screenshots of mistakes done by luxplus. So don’t play with me.
Same experience as everyone else on here. Really shocking business and unpleasant to deal with. Very threatening aggressive emails! One thing I would love to know is if anyone has not paid and would love to know what happens if you don’t? I’m getting very threatening emails at the moment….
SCAMMERS!!Collectmasters extort money from Luxplus customers.I had bought an item on the Luxplus website in March 24, and later in April I found out that I had been changed € 9.95 by Luxplus two times for subscription I was not aware of. I requested refund from my bank, blocked Luxplux account in my banking app, found out how to cancel this subscription and reported this case to ECC Belgium.Since May 2024 I have been chased by Collect Masters, who extort money from me on behalf of Luxplus.Recently ECC Belgium contacted me to request permission to share my case with ECC Denmark, which should request to stop the debt collecting process from Luxplus side.If this doesn't help, I will consult with ECC Belgium and probably raise another complain with a request to take this case to court (there is such an option). If you have had the same experience with Luxplus/CollectMasters, please lodge a complaint on ECC Belgium website (or whatever European country you are from). The more complains they have the sooner these scammers will be closed.
CollectMasters BV is clearly working hand in hand with Luxplus in what feels like a coordinated scam. After being misled into a Luxplus membership that I never intended to sign up for, Luxplus promptly passed my "unpaid fees" to CollectMasters, adding an extra €40 for collections and interest—despite my efforts to cancel the membership.Even after paying all charges, including the inflated collection fees, and having multiple calls with CollectMasters where they initially confirmed my case was resolved, I continued to receive emails charging me for "unpaid monthly fees." A month later, CollectMasters claimed I still owed one month, adding to the ongoing stress and frustration. This back-and-forth is exhausting and feels incredibly suspicious. Luxplus continues to claim there are unresolved balances, and CollectMasters flip-flopped on whether or not my case was resolved.Their complicity in these misleading practices makes it difficult to trust CollectMasters.FYI - the use of pre-ticked op-in boxes are not GDPR compliant. Till when businesses like those will exist?
What a horrible company with equally bad customer service support (can feel perfectly ok with threatening legal action, but when asked to do their job, they complain about how long the phone call is).I had to ask for various forms of proof attesting to their claim on multiple occasions, so they sent me two line answers and were surprised when I wasn't satisfied. Truly a bad company working for other bad companies that enact very shady business practices. I will already check what legal action I can take, and it's times like this where I really hope that karma is real. What a disgusting company. This is also regarding their partner company luxplus. I will also be filing an official complaint to regulators about both companies.
Received an email from them saying that I have to pay urgently to Luxplus when I haven't even purchased anything in the past 2 years or even thought I had a membership with it... Now I checked my account and it saying I do not have a membership that can renew automatically! Why do these companies exist still?????
Like many others in here. I have received a letter from them asking me to pay 51 euro. I didn't pay it and they just stopped harassing me. They try their luck with everyone who purchased from luxplus two years ago. I understand that some people get scared and pay. Don't help scammers please! Don't pay. If we consummers decide to sue Luxplus, we will definitely win as they have no case against us.
I bought a product of lux plus and than some how got signed up for there membership.I didn’t realise it until 8,95 got written of my bank account so i went to the site and instantly canceled it and got my money back. But now i get emailes from collect master saying that i need to pay €50,06 and if i dont they will proceed with legal action.WHAT DO I DO!
🚨⚠️Scam AlertDo not buy anything from luxplus. Both Luxplus and collect master are scammers.CollectMasters BV appears to be collaborating with Luxplus in what seems to be a coordinated scheme. After being misled into a Luxplus membership that I never intended to sign up for, Luxplus promptly transferred my “unpaid fees” to CollectMasters, adding an additional €40 for collections and interest, despite my efforts to cancel the membership.Even after settling all charges, including the inflated collection fees, and having multiple conversations with CollectMasters where they initially confirmed my case was resolved, I continued to receive emails demanding payment for “unpaid monthly fees.” A month later, CollectMasters claimed I still owed one month, further exacerbating the stress and frustration. This ongoing back-and-forth is exhausting and raises significant concerns. Luxplus continues to assert that there are unresolved balances, while CollectMasters has been inconsistent in their communication regarding the resolution of my case.Their involvement in these deceptive practices severely undermines my trust in CollectMasters and Luxplus. Do not buy anything from luxplus. Both Luxplus and collect master are thieves
They are scammers!! Report them to the police and go to court if you can.I received a payment request of 60.50 euros from them and they claimed that they had previously sent me a payment request due to stopping my subscription. In fact, they had NEVER sent any request and payment for what??? They are claiming false and misleading proofs that anyone can make. Do not believe them and go to the court against them. Both Luxplus and Collectmasters are scammers
Collect Masters and LuxPlus are real scammers. have same experience described below. They forced me to pay 50 Euro and money for subscription. Let's file class action against this reproachful company and notify the police.
If you ever come across this page, and you're asked to pay the 10 bucks for a membership? Please just pay it instead of the 51 or 52 euro's they'll be charging you later.Make documentation of it and if they ask you to pay again, just show that you already paid.It sucks, I know, but it will save you a lot of headache of getting threatening Emails/legal action and people coming to your door demanding payment.Just pay the price and be done with it.Also, go **** yourself LuxPlus. There is a special place in hell waiting for you...
This is another person who fell for this scam. Does anyone know what will happen if I don't pay these absurd amounts? Thanks. They should do something to combat these scams!!!

Top 5 Effective Ways To Spot a Scam Website [VIDEO]

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:

How To Remove Your Information From the Internet

Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.

We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.

Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.
