clixsense.com Review
The Scam Detector website Validator gives clixsense.com one of the higher trust scores on the platform: 82.1. It signals that the business is best defined by the following tags: Reliable. Legitimate. Secure.. We are confident about our score as we also partner with other high-tech, fraud-prevention companies that found the same results. So, why this score? We came up with the 82.1 score based on 53 aggregated factors relevant to clixsense.com's industry. The algorithm detected little high-risk activity related to phishing, spamming, and other factors, as noted in the Reliable. Legitimate. Secure. tags above. Long story short, we deem this a reliable and secure website. But let's explain in more detail.
Explaining Our Analytical Approach
We've displayed some important information within the Company Details section above, each deserving more explanation:
- Proximity to Suspicious Websites
- Threat Profile
- Phishing Profile
- Malware Score
- Spam Score
- Domain Blacklist Status
- HTTPS connection
- Domain Creation Date
While some are self-explanatory concerning clixsense.com, let's look closer at the remaining ones.
Proximity to Potentially Harmful Websites
This metric gauges the connection, scored on a scale of 1 to 100, between clixsense.com and websites marked as suspicious. Elevated scores point to a stronger link with these questionable online destinations. It's worth noting that website owners might not always be aware of their site's proximity to these dubious platforms or servers. However, a "Proximity to Suspicious Websites" score surpassing 80 strongly indicates a high-risk website, while a score below 30 signifies a less-threatening site.
Risk Factors: Threat, Phishing, Malware, and Spam
These indicators reveal the vulnerabilities and elements embedded within the HTML code of clixsense.com. They become especially pertinent if the website has received reports from internet users who've encountered unsolicited emails, ads, or messages related to the site. In the context of clixsense.com, our investigation continues working to pinpoint the specific category, but we welcome your insights in the comments below. A high Malware score generally implies the presence of suspicious code that might be unknowingly disseminated. Conversely, a high Spam score hints at a possibly spam-ridden email address associated with the business. Scores under 30 in both categories are reassuring, but any score surpassing this threshold should raise concerns. clixsense.com is an innocuous website, given all the risk factors and data numbers analyzed in this in-depth review. Share your experience in the comments.
Domain Blacklisting Status
This term indicates whether clixsense.com has landed on any online directories' blacklists and earned a suspicious tag.
Assessing HTTPS Connectivity
This section provides insight into whether clixsense.com boasts an 's' at the end of the 'HTTP' protocol listed in your browser's address bar. If the tab displays in green, consider it a positive sign.
Safe Check
We want our trust scores and reviews to be as accurate as possible so that you can protect yourself from online fraud. Our algorithm aggregates factors that efficiently analyze a company's website, in this case, clixsense.com.

Time waste you can't even earn 1 dollar in a month
90% i'm not qualify, waste of time , surveys sometimes takes 1hr, not 15min,and message all the time, even after start:We're Sorry!Unfortunately you did not qualify for that survey. As you were not able to complete this survey, thepersonal data you've provided will be promptly discarded.Thank you for your participation!
Imagine spend 5hrs doing a survey and return 10cents and recieve the word "unfounately we have enough responses here" 10cents a day 36.5 dollars a year definitely not worth the money time wasters
I had no good experience there. Surveys are rarely available and are paying less than other sites. Upon requesting your payment, you have to wait a lot of time until you hopefully receive it.
Hackers got the whole database from that site. I never returned there for that reason. Do not trust your sensitive information at their hands or you will regret it.
You never qualify for surveys...i think they earn lots of money by luring us to click on surveys..that means when we hit their page...they will ask number of pre- questions and than they finally say u r not qualified foe the survey....dont waste ur time folks..
Less than a month after joining, l decided to leave this site. Making a payout is as blurry as the dark skies. I prefer the old ClixSense although I don't remember if I was able to redeem.
It will cost you a lot of time. When you do the survey, as long as there are answers in the questions that do not meet their requirements, you will be eliminated (maybe after you have done 10 minutes of questions), so you will waste a lot of time. And still have no momeny. I used to send an hour to do the survey, but the income is 0 dollars! ! ! !So I won't waste any more time, I will not log in to my account now.(personal experience)
I tried some websites like this before, but I couldn't even make an account on this website. I never entered the website before, but it says all my 4 email adresses are in use. Maybe for some persons it works, but I can't say this is good at all. I also don't really recommend doing this. You don't earn a lot and there are much easier ways to earn money on the internet. Like flipping instagram accounts or selling profitmaking products with trustable websites. With those you can earn a lot. If you do it good you can earn the same as a normal working person or even more. I want you to know that these websites earn a lot more then you think. You often get a very smal percentage of it.
Clixsense has a history of weird (to say at the very least) issues. Recently, a data breach occurred and hackers stole the details of 6.6 million users' records. Personal information such as addresses, emails, passwords, and even SSN fell to the wrong hands. Their administrator did not even have the integrity to send an email to each member (as he should) in order to let everyone know what happened.Another time, clixsense was hacked and was redirecting to an adult website with explicit content. This situation lasted for days and for some users even for months due to cache.Just a few days ago PayPal decided to stop offering its services to clixsense and we all know that PayPal should have a very good reason to take such a measure. But, most of all they pay smaller amounts than other websites for the same tasks and offers. Someone should have a mental disorder to do the work for them and get less money than what others would pay him for the same effort. Finally, they have a long history of delaying payments with various excuses such as supposed issues with deposits to a payment processor. My suggestion would be to avoid clixsense at all cost. It is NOT safe and it will pay you less than others anyway. What I wrote can be confirmed just by searching Google for “clixsense” and things such as “data breach”, “adult site” “payment didn’t arrive”, “PayPal removed”, etc.
Terrible, terrible experience. This was one of the two pay to click sites I used. Yes, they paid less than any other site but that's not what my review is about:Last year they got hacked and all their database was dumped every where with MY name, address, password (in plain to see text), and even SSN.They never explained that our data was in the wild - they just said they were hacked - and I lost one site's account due to this. They hid the issue very well even when it reached the news. These guys are swindlers to make it soft. I then changed all my data with fake one - never had to do this in my entire life - so when they get hacked again no one will get my data.I recommend every one that used that site to change all passwords if you used the same.
Sorry Not every survey can be a winner, but keep trying!Every time i got this message after i finish survey.
Used to be OK for earning a few dollars on the side but not any more. I used to recommend it to friends but would no dream of doing so again. The time equation of what you put in versus what you earn just does not stack up nowadays. Maybe still OK for US users but not UK.
Another GPT site that makes tall promises, fails on every count, figure eight rubbish and especially the robot customer service, a waste of time, needs negative rating, does that make sense!
Clixsense is now owned by Prodege, LLC. The same people that own Swagbucks. Swagbucks is notorious for banning members when they try to cash out their earnings. Kiss Clixsense goodbye forever. It's only going to get worse. Jim Grago sold the company without giving his members a heads up about what was going to happen. Jim Grago never cared about his members in the first place. This is what happened before the sale of Clixsense:FTC Finalizes Settlement with ClixSense for Failure to Secure Consumers’ Personal DataPosted on July 2, 2019Posted in Enforcement, Information SecurityOn July 2, 2019, the Federal Trade Commission announced a case involving the operator of an online rewards website who allegedly failed to take reasonable steps to secure consumers’ personal data.According to the FTC, James V. Grago, Jr., the operator of the website ClixSense, deceived consumers by falsely claiming that the website “utilizes the latest security and encryption techniques to ensure the security of your account information.” In fact, the FTC stated, “ClixSense engaged in unreasonable security practices and failed to implement minimal data security measures to secure the personal data it collected, such as Social Security numbers and dates of birth.”Under the terms of the settlement with the FTC, Grago is barred from misrepresenting how any company he controls protects personal information. He must also implement and annually certify a comprehensive data security program, verified by outside monitoring.Clixsense is now Ysense is now a SCAM, use at your own risk !
They don't have the option to withdraw the money using Paypal, Skrill takes 60% cut.
“In a complaint, the FTC alleged that ClixSense owner, DECEIVED consumers by FALSELY claiming that his website, ClixSense, “utilizes the latest security and encryption techniques to ensure the security of your account information.” In FACT, ClixSense engaged in unreasonable security practices and FAILED to implement minimal data security measures to secure the personal data it collected, such as Social Security numbers and dates of birth.”Source: ftc. gov/news-events/press-releases/2019/07/ftc-finalizes-settlement-online-rewards-website-allegedly-failed“...must not misrepresent in any manner, expressly or by implication, t he extent to whichRespondent maintains and protects the privacy, security, confidentiality, or integrity of Personal Information”Source: ftc. gov/system/files/documents/cases/172_3003_clixsense_decision_and_order_7-2-19.pdf"...must create and retain the following records:Copies or records of all consumer complaints concerning the subject matter of the Order, whether received directly or indirectly, such as through a third party, and any response"Source: ftc. gov/system/files/documents/cases/172_3003_-_clixsense_order_final.pdfMy advice: We should NOT let incompetent people mess with our personal data.Let’s see if ClixSense will properly record this complaint or if they will try to claim that this is a personal attack or something...Federal Trade Commission will be informed, if it is needed.
great if you live in United States as you will get tons of surveys and tons of referrals usually if you advertise your link....I make several hundred extra dollars per month the last 2 years working through the site it is awesome and pays my light bill every monthand then some most months...its all dependant of the time you invest into the site....I mainly work higher paying surveys and advertise on my youtube channel as well as my twitter and facebook fan pages to get referrals
This one used to be a good PTC site, USED to be. Not anymore. No advertisements to click and not only you make less, but their cashout minimum is ridiculously high, at $10.
What happened with the site it is not opening i can't reach to my account i have my money in my account please let me know what's wrong with it.

“One game didn't track and after a few days I got deactivated”
Nothing pisses me off about this whole stupid VPN $#*!. If I could afford VPN I wouldn't be doing these stupid game offers just to earn 25 bucks. I'm doing these offers to scrape by. I did the verification ID process but I doubt they'll give me a chance, they're stubborn as heck. To this day, I learned my lesson cash out immediately to not deal with bricks like this. Tip for consumers:YSense sucks. Service Value Quality
“Ysense Website”
This is 100% real app for earn money If you do not believe me Lets try it by simply click on this link = https://www.ysense.com/?rb=*******
“Clixsense's new payment procedure sucks”
Clixsense was a nice site until the moment they changed their payout system which now causes massive delays when requesting a payout. Relying on a certain point of time where your payment should be processed isn't anymore. That's sad to say. Jim should rethink his new payment policy quickly and better change it back else he will definitely lose members!
“Best site to earn some extra money online with little...”
Best site to earn some extra money online with little to no effort. Every since 2007 they have never missed a payment. Customer support is outstanding and we have a huge community here helping out fellow members whenever they're in need. Service Value Quality
“Improved clixsense”
Since my last review I am happy to say that clixsense has improved, they no longer have the two to three unwanted ads to watch making it possible to focus more on the advertisers web site, I think this should be made known hats off to them
“I have used ClixSense for 4 years and never have had...”
I have used ClixSense for 4 years and never have had any bad payment experience. During the years they have also improved their service and added few more options to earn money. Their support is fantastic and always have my problems sorted in less than 12 hours. The forum is the place where everyone can find support and help not only from ClixSense' staff, but the members also. So many proofs this program pay regularly. In fact ClixSense is one of the best online places where every one can earn money according to the time and effort gives by.
“Clixsense's third party sites are the reason to blame”
Clixsense used to be good, but now they have surveys that make you wait 30 damn days to get credited/approved. Um... I don't know about you, but I sure as hell don't like to wait 30 days to dictate whether or not I earned 1 measly dollar or so for a survey. No thanks -- I quit. Unless they can credit faster, on average, it's not worth waiting an entire month's time to decide the fate of your credit. They have the means to pay faster -- they just don't want to, these third party survey $#*!s.
“Could be better”
They do pay but it is impossible to earn much without referrals, i have been a member since 2010 and have no referrals even though i advertise everywhere. Not renting or selling referrals turns people off from signing up. One thing that gets to me is that a few members have earned thousands and have thousands of referrals, while most members struggle without any referrals and not much earnings. I have only made 200 dollars in all those years. I have noticed that members from the U.S. A have access to offers that just don't work here. Useless doing offers on sites if you are from Australia.
“The best Ptc ever they never missed a payment paying...”
The best Ptc ever they never missed a payment paying since February 2007 good honest admin Site is over 6 years old and has no major issues or problems. Lot of ways to earn money by completing offers, surveys, listening to the radio (radio loyalty), tasks, videos, bonus,... They have great forum for helping each member to get more money or if they have an issue with something Give it try: http://csl.ink/yX
“I don't believe that there is away to get rich easily...”
I don't believe that there is away to get rich easily online, but Clixsense helps me make extra money on the site and it even going to pay for my vacation next year! Very trust worthy, i have cashed out hunders of dollars. Service Value Quality
“Worst site, low earnings”
Dont waste your time with it. Pays 0.001 per click, no offers, high minimum for payout. They just got banned from PayPal which says a lot. If you want to advertise there - dont bother. No one pays attention to the ads, only to the timer. And with 5 second timer most sites won't even load. You cant complain in their forum, that awful moderator Valerie thinks she/he is the smartest and locks your thread for no reason. It's a matter of time bwfore this scam site shuts down.
“Lowest paying website”
I joined clixsense years ago before it got switched to ysense and was much better than current one. In 2019 combining clixsense/ysense my earnings were over $500 but this year my earning is $100, a major drop. Even if PTC were removed from clixsense, it didn't a difference. What I don't like, ysense staff are taking way to long fixing survey bugs (survey area) and we're left with lowest paying surveys from offer wall. Gambling offer seen within their own offer wall as they expect us being as gambler and that was never seen on clixsense. For shame ysense!
“Time Down the Drain”
YSense has been oddly disappointing for me lately. I have been with them since Jan 2019, and had signed up with another similar site at the same time. I've made a mere $50 after long and excruciating hours of sitting through long surveys. I have made over $1200 with this other site so far and am still going strong. And they have fun jobs too. What's worse is that ySense just doesn't seem to have any more surveys that I can qualify for, conveniently so when I was just about to reach my next $10 withdrawal threshold. I wouldn't recommend ySense to anyone, especially if they have a need for a decent online income. I'd chose the site I'm with anytime. Tip for consumers:What I can suggest is this here instead https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=387e4626b8fca4b5278b21eb50221c48 Service Value Quality
“ClixSense offers many ways to earn: ads, surveys, offers,...”
ClixSense offers many ways to earn: ads, surveys, offers, tasks, videos, clixgrid, bonuses, referrals... it's the most complete PTC I've ever come across. ClixSense is trustworthy: since when it was created in 2007, it has always paid its users and will continue doing so. Honest admin, helpful staff and an awesome forum. ClixSense is great!
“Really bad - Do not waste your time here..”
$#*!ty page, making you answer tons of questions and only rarely decides you are supposed to get paid. Says you can take the quiz and lets you answer for a long time before you answer something that the questionnaire wasn't looking for and you get nothing. Absolutely time wasting scam. 10 days after account creation I was only able to earn $4 after spending a couple of hours trying to answer these quizzes. Tip for consumers:Do not. Products used:Tried working for them. Value Quality
“The website's policies/terms and conditions on how...”
The website's policies/terms and conditions on how people will earn should've been made on a layman's term format. So that they wouldn't get the impression that their website is misleading. It's like, by telling everyone that: "people will earn lots of money, in exchange for a very big amount of time."
“YSENSE BEST GPT SITE”
YSENSE is an gpt site that offers earning some money by taking paid surveys and completing offers and sign up offers.iam using this site for last four years and this is my best survey site and customer support from ysense is great and you can get quick resolution from them... cash out nearly takes three days to reach your PayPal account...and also we can earn good money by referring to our friends... Service Value Quality
“Account deactivated with no reason”
I have been using ySense on and off for I believe a year or so. I would only really finish surveys and offers that seemed somewhat profitable, so I wasn't a very active user for most of the time and I did not really have many complaints. It is difficult, however, to give the site more than 1 star, as my account has recently been deactivated (which I found out by trying to log in, rather than receiving any sort of e-mail). Luckily, I only had around 10$ on there, as I had been cashing out whenever I reached the PayPal threshold. Now, deactivation wouldn't be a problem - perhaps I've done something wrong. Here is where the absolute worst happened - I tried to contact customer service, asking what I've done wrong - either to explain myself or simply understand what even happened. The answer was a copy-paste "you violated ToS", which is okay at first, so I tried to dig deeper - after all, I had some small amount on my account and I didn't believe I've done anything wrong. The answer to my followup was "noncompliance with ToS". Not only that, they also finished the e-mail with "case closed, the decision is final". In other words, they deactivated an account with money in it without giving a single reason and then decided to spit in my face - good going, ySense. Do not use this website, because you never know when they're in the mood to simply close your account and lock all your funds. Tip for consumers:Cash out the moment you reach thresholds for whatever interests you - if you don't, you might find yourself locked out of the website for no reason other than ySense's mood. Products used:I was completing surveys on the website. Service Value Quality
“It Was a Pretty Decent Site For Me”
I signed up for ySense, and my experience was decent while it lasted. They did not pay immediately upon request, but they did pay. It usually paid within a day, sometimes two. The survey opportunities were decent. They paid out at a reasonable rate. There were no unusually high decline rates (see PrizeRebel). YSense had a lot of earning opportunities, and they were legitimate. I could make a decent amount of money on ySense. That is, until they closed my account. That was a bummer. Likely my fault. I'm pretty sure I made a mistake on one of the surveys that tripped the red flags. As a result, I get the message when I log in that my account has been permanently closed. Oh well, it was a good run. Overall, I recommend the site. Just BE mindful and make sure that you are paying attention.
“WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!”
Let me start off by saying, i seen this app advertised and promoted which one of the things that pulled me towards this website is the fact you get paid for completing certain tasks and surveys. You choose a survey available, which are quite lengthy for the price 0.50$ up to $1 per survey and ok, thats cool. What absolutely INFURIATED Me was spending lots of time and effort in my answers or opinion (which also asks you to answer very personalized information about yourself, and to answer thoughtfully with care or your account may be deactivated). After countless attempts of taking these surveys, it always exits out and says "sorry not everyone is a winner", and disappears like nothing happened. This app just takes your information for their research but does NOT do what this app is meant to be about. I wouldn't trust this app neither recommend to anyone. You get one star, there!
“Deactivation of my account without cause”
I had the same experience as several other users. I think I used the site one time when I first signed up for it, meaning the exact day that I created my account, and then maybe a month later I tried to log in and it said that my membership had been deactivated. So I wrote to customer service and they responded by saying "thanks for taking the time to write to us but you violated our terms of service and after further review, our team has decided to maintain your account deactivation". WTF? I'm a real person trying to make money from these stupid survey sites and this kind of crap happens? I have written back to them asking them to please explain what egregious act against their terms of service I committed but I suspect I will never hear from them again. What a complete and total sh*t show. If I were you, I would stay away because they're obviously Data mining and selling your information and want nothing to do with customer service. Tip for consumers:Do not sign up! Worst survey company I've dealt with! Products used:I might have completed a few surveys. Service Value Quality
“"For You"”
Earning 200 a month and you think you're banking big bucks in 3-4 hours? That's funny. I earn 836 a month on the site that I'm with and that's only giving 2 hours of my time and I have the assurance of knowing that I'm now with a legitimate company that actually pays it's members.
“Borderline scam”
My experience with them was terrible. While there are legitimate surveys, the site is filled with surveys that seemed like data phishers. Out of nowhere, my account was deactivated two weeks in. I had only 1 account, did not use bot and took my time to answer them properly. Emailed support but they just stated that I violated advertisers/their policy without stating the exact reason. The takeaway is to stay away from them unless you are desperate enough to try your luck with them. Service Value Quality
“Never works”
Survey never works. Either mid or at the end the page will redirect to home page with a pop msg " Always you will not win..." Basically, after collecting the required data they are making screen out. Further, there is NO CHANCE to approach Help centre It is simply making us fool On a generic reply ( Jim) acclaimed that this is not ysense...I think Jim has lost his Sense for such a nonsense reply Value
“1st payment”
I've received my 1st payment from ysense to my paypal. It's not instant payment, about 5 days from requested day. Maybe 5 star when ysense have instant payment. Thanks ysense... looking forward to long-term cooperation

There are many types of fake sites in the online world. We have some good news. Watch the video below to see the 5 effective ways you can spot a fraudulent website in 2024:
How To Remove Your Information From the Internet
Whether you like it or not, unfortunately, the Internet has all your personal information stored. How did that happen? Every time you visit a simple site and accept cookies, consent to their forms, or download an app, unscrupulous data brokers collect not just your phone number, name, AND address. They also sell this to third parties, which creates a $1 billion industry a year. Your collected personal data is used by buyers to send you never-ending spam emails, targeted ads, and, of course, telemarketing calls. Crooks use all your data without remorse.
We can help. Many people have asked us about how to remove your personal information from the Internet. If you want your data deleted entirely from the online world, contact our official partners at Incogni immediately. This legitimate data privacy tool works on your behalf to officially require a ton of online brokers to remove your data.
Our staff verifies that this service works and is trustworthy. For robust, essential protection, their Standard plan is a steal at just $8.29 for individuals, and you can extend that crucial peace of mind to your entire household with the Family plan (up to 5 users) for only $16.49. They also introduced the Unlimited plan starting from $14.99 that covers not only automatic data removals, but also unlimited custom removals available right away upon purchasing the Unlimited plan. It allows users to submit websites not yet covered by Incogni and get their data removed from there, too. They also offer a free exposure scanner that will give you an insight into what data of yours is exposed and where.

Guardio has over a million users, and while it is already affordable for the benefits it provides (just a few dollars a month), it covers up to 5 family members. For Scam Detector readers exclusively, Guardio offers a 20% discount this week. You can protect your online browsing from installing malware forever by clicking the button below:
How To Stop Third Parties From Tracking Your Devices
The second most powerful fraud prevention tool you should consider is Surfshark. Here is why you should get it now, as the first 5 months are free:
- They have an award-winning VPN service, protecting your privacy and preventing third parties from tracking your device.
- They will notify you when your personal info is leaked online so you can delete your private data from the Internet immediately.
- Surfshark has a super powerful antivirus program. It offers you effective protection from viruses and zero-day threats, a lightweight, clean, and easy-to-use app, and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
- Check this: They hide your online searches, which means you will get only organic search results without tracking and follow-up ads. For example, when you search for a flight, and the next time you look at the same search, the prices are higher. With Surfshark, this doesn't happen.
For the Black Friday promotion, Surfshark offers 86% off + up to 5 months free to Scam Detector readers. You can get the deal only this week HERE or by clicking the button below.

Are You the Owner of clixsense.com?
If you own clixsense.com, we’d love to hear from you. If you'd like to challenge the trust score we’ve assigned, we’re happy to take a closer look. However, please be prepared to provide solid proof of your business's legitimacy. Introduce yourself with your name (not just "Admin").
When domain owners contact us to dispute their trust score, we kindly ask for the following:
* Business documentation that verifies your legitimacy (e.g., certificate of incorporation, business registration, or official records with the site or business name).
* Your personal LinkedIn profile and the business's social media accounts (e.g., Facebook).
* If available, proof of satisfied customers (e.g., screenshots, not just testimonials on your website), evidence of inventory, or records of handling order cancellations properly.
We’re more than willing to update your review based on the evidence you provide—the more proof, the higher your trust score. Please note, however, that we cannot verify non-operational websites or those redirected to other URLs.
