Is cleverbuy.de Legit?

A total scam company! The process seems legit at first when you quickly get a price and how to sen them your phone and in a few days on your account the money seems to be in motion. But it stays in limbo, and never get yo the point when you can make a transaction from your account to your bank. We waited now about 10 weeks with multiple attempts to get an answer from them. They send the same response every time "sorry but the transactions are just now taking longer time..."

30.03.2024 Ho "venduto" il mio Samsung A41 64GB con prezzo stimato 89 €. Dopo 15 giorni mi offrono 40 € riducendo la qualità rilevata dello smartphone mediante varie scuse. Ho comunque deciso di accettare 55 € per non complicare la pratica. Dopo vari solleciti al trasferimento della cifra al mio conto essendo impossibilitati momentaneamente a loro dire al trasferimento via PayPal, comunico il mio IBAN. Mi viene promesso pagamento entro 5 giorni dal 17.05.2024. Io ad oggi, dopo aver sollecitato quotidianamente l'assistenza clienti che risponde scusandosi e promettendo di evadere dal più presto il pagamento, avendo fatto esposto al Centro Europeo Consumatori, alla polizia postale per la messa offline del sito, mi rimane solo da condividere questa truffa con i potenziali clienti, scoraggiandoli dall'avere a che fare con questo sito. After 15 days they offered me €40 by reducing the detected quality of the smartphone through various excuses. However, I decided to accept €55 so as not to complicate the deal. After several reminders to transfer the amount to my account, since they were temporarily unable to make PayPal transfer, I communicated my Italian IBAN. I am promised to be payed within 5 days from 05.17.2024. To date, after having requested customer support on a daily basis, which responds by apologizing and promising to process the payment as quickly as possible, after having reported to the European Consumer Center, to the web Italian Police dept to take the site offline, all I can do is to share this scam with any potential customers, discouraging all from dealing with this site. If a person who purchased a refurbished smartphone with IMEI1 #351910572848112 on Cleverbuy may ever read this review, she/he must know that the device has never been paid, so, as of 08/31/2024, it can be considered as STOLEN.***UPDATE 22.10.2024*** Still without payment after 206 days

Actually I would give it 0* but unfortunately it's not possible. 12.09.2024 bought a phone from Cleverbuy in exchange of my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (they need to pay me 640eur). It's been a month now, they didn't "received" phone by now. I've delivered them IMEI from my phone, nothing happened. "Department" will take care of it. Been to Vodafone where I've bought my phone, tracked it via IMEI (it's in Krefeld where the Cleverbuy is). If it will help anybody here don't use this site. Maybe someone will get it right. Now need to involve police department and lawyer ofc. Hope this everything changes.

Unfortunately it can not be given less than 1 star. After I sent my product to them, they contacted me that the condition is not as I described and they offered me a lower price and described a condition they don't even have listed on the website. I refused their offer and asked for my product back. Since then, the madness started. For more than 3 weeks, they confiscated my product and no one is answering anymore. I am so sorry I didn't read all the reviews before, I could have maybe avoided loosing an Xbox.

I didn't want to believe these reviews and i sold my tablets to cleverbuy. They immediately sent me an email to notify me of the arrival, after which I had to wait the agreed days for them to load the money into the wallet (and so far they have been slow, but they have not exceeded the deadlines). The problems started when I requested the balance to be transferred to my account, they indicated 5 working days... It took them a month. Fortunately they continue to respond to emails, their excuse was "sorry for the delay, but we are busy", this does not justify the great slowness of the system, and until they fix it I would not trust them with my money.

I ordered a flagship phone from them through refurbed.nl, and they created a UPS shipment label that estimated the packet to be delivered in 2 days after the order was made. Whenever I would track my package, I saw that it was never handed over to UPS. Only with daily emails, and insisting, after a week, they handed over my parcel to the delivery service. Otherwise, the phone looks good and works well and their customer support answered in a quick and respectful manner. What could be improved would be their internal communication which would bring them more leverage in getting things done and building trust among their clients.

I confirm what several other people have already written recently. Cleverbuy promised to send me 70€ for my telephone. I have been waiting for 3 months and I have received nothing despite writing to them many times. They refuse to reply and to transfer my money. I AM DISGUSTED BY THIS DISHONEST COMPANY!

After a couple of days with no update (bought a MacBook Pro via refurbed marketplace) in the tracking status (it was meant to be shipped at that point) I sent a message and they took almost 24 hours to reply, and suggest to keep waiting.I sent another message as the laptop should’ve arrived by that time and only in that moment they recognized that they they oversold that item and they were canceling the order without offering any other alternative.They made me lose 7 days with no laptop because of their lack of control with the stock.I ended up buying the same laptop on a website called asgoodasnew.They delivered on time plus provided a 30 month guarantee with no extra charge.I know where to buy in future occasions.

I am adding a 0 star review to many other ones. This company claims 30 days returns but when they receive the product (that was malfunctioning) they tell you that they will return the $$ but they actually don't. Then they stop any communications with you. Got bless for PayPal chargeback but honestly people, it's 2024. Cleverbuy pays Trustami for displaying some fake positive ratings.Put yourself together and don't make people waste their time for fighting for refunds.

I ordered a brand new iPhone 14, got it delivered in a sealed (!) box, but just in case checked the serial number. It turns out the phone has actually been activated 10 months prior, so it was in fact not brand new at all.Cleverbuy couldn't explain to me, how this has happened, I immediately sent the phone back and got reimbursed only 13 days later.I would have left one star, but the customer support has a fairly quick response time.

I bought a phone which did not work and returned in otherwise intact condition.They sent me the phone back in physically broken condition and told me I had broken it.Obviously fraudulous: what would be my interest in breaking a phone the second before I send it back?I can't lift the burden of proof so I consider myself scammed. I sent my new Flip5 to them, took the 5% off the sale price to have it paid with priority. It was indeed processed the next day, and then...THE WALLET.Instead of paying you directly, as is implied during the selling process, they give you credit on their website. And if you pay out that credit to your bank-account, it still takes upwards of 5 days (so far, still haven't gotten my money, despite them saying they have forwarded it to the accountancy multiple times).I needed money quickly, and thought this would be a good way. These people are making fool to its customers, they are big fraudsters bought your product and after that they use your money and you can ask many time but nobody answers. It’s ridiculous service.

After posting a complaint, because i didn't get a retunlabel for mu Samsung S 20 LE, the company picktup my complaint and guided me through the procedure to get an refund, or replace. Very helpful and patient until recently i received the refund.I will surely recommand Clever Buy bij buying e refurbish telefone.

Very very bad service and unprofessional people's. Deal with customers like scamers. Now 4 month is finished still i can't get my money. Everyday give me a new story. Never sell something on cleverbuy. Very very bad reputation. And every person who working here looks unprofessional. Next week i take my lawyer. And i also reported in police. We live in German and like this type of services and behavior not acceptable. Shame

Bought a phone through Refurbed, a couple of days went and never heard anything. O contacted Cleverbuy and the told me the phone is out of stock and they couldn't deliver the item, EVEN though they still sold the item but more expensive. Maybe they accidentally sold too cheap and wanted to cancel the order. Very unprofessional.

Worst experience ever! Every single competitor (rebuy, refurbed, etc.) even from another county (e.g. valyuu from Netherlands) is way better than this. Do not sell anything here!Close down that so called "shop" and do something you might be better at - collection rubbish or some. Hopefully never hearing from you again.
