We have had several issues so far. Delayed shipment (waiting on fabric), one shade was 1/2 inch shorter than said measurement, we didn’t receive the wall mount remote (they sent later), we didn’t receive the chargers for motorized batteries (supposed to send later), but worst of all…. The INSTALLATION PROCESS. Absolute worst bracket design I have ever seen. What should have taken 30 minutes tops has been HOURS of frustration, and of course no one is available to help on weekend when people actually are typically installing. They may be cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Spend the extra money elsewhere.

Gil made ordering for a difficult space easy and, even though I thought he might give up on me, he never did. Guided me to a beautiful window. 3 more rooms to go …….totally satisfied with quality of blind material and manufacture. Hardest part is choosing the right color since I’m repainting my walls. Samples come quickly. Working from my phone and I have challenges with the website, Gil was immensely helpful with customizing my order.

I’m only able to give a review based on one week of use in my home. I had to travel out if state shortly after the installation of the shades. However, I was impressed by three things so far: how quickly the shades arrived, how well the shades were packed, and the quick and helpful response from a gentleman in customer service who returned my call promptly. He explained how to even out the head rail and bottom rail and stated that if necessary he would remake the order. I’ll let you know if I have any further issues. Overall, I’m very pleased and will order again soon for another room. Thank you !

What made my experience great is that the company really cared about what I was trying to do and absolutely helped me get there. Our sheers look and feel lovely and perfectly fit our custom windows. First of all I was able to find the width of shade I needed. Most companies don't have shades wide enough. The price was reasonable and the customer service was amazing! I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of custom shades.

My shades arrived very quickly and looked great. Had them hung and it turned out I had measured wrong. They looked great, but were just too narrow (my fault). Customer service was wonderful and worked to to make sure I ordered the correct size this time and to get me the biggest discount possible when I reordered. Less than a week later, my correct sized shades are already on their way. They also beat everyone else’s prices by a mile! Will always order from City Shade in the future.

The follow-up shown after receiving my samples is important to me. Kay sent an email asking if i need further help with purchasing the perfect window treatment. I appreciated the email due to most companies don't care if you liked or disliked their samples and never send an email to see if there more they can do to accommodate your needs. Thank you.

Ordered window valances to use with my Smartwings cellular shades. The folks at CityShade were very helpful in insuring my measurements were correct. They sent fabric color swatches to help me with the color and texture of my valances. They gave me an advance estimate of the shipping date shortly after my order was processed. The valences arrived shortly before their estimated delivery date and they were exactly what I wanted. Well made, carefully packaged for shipment, with all the hardware I needed to attach them.

Order was timely and well packaged, but the shade itself is very difficult to clip into the hardware, even tough I’ve followed instructions exactly, so I have not been able to successfully install. This is bath frustrating and disappointing and I frankly don’t know what to do at this point.

CityShade is amazing! After getting a great price on two roman shades, I was able to get the two shades shipped earlier in order for my husband to help me hang them before he went on a business trip. I just received the shades and had two contacts from the company let me know they were delivered, and ensure I was aware they made it safely to their destination. Found City Shade Company online. First ordered samples fabric as a comparison, and could not believe how nice the fabrics selection were in comparison. So we placed our order and just received our new drapery order in two weeks and they just turned out great. Very helpful customer service, high quality is so hard to find these days. This company is a hidden gem, highly recommend
