Is citybee.lt Legit?

Very weird company. They send a lot of email spam promoting their company service, but when I decided to try, they rejected my US driving license, saying that there is another license with the same number. I spoke to the operator; she said that someone would contact me, but no one called and no email was sent, and my DL is still rejected. After such weird service, I think I would not try this company again

I hired a car for one day and it was all perfect. App very easy to use. Instructions were clear. Made my choice on the app, checked the car out, marked up the damages that weren't marked on the car already. I booked a prepaid package no issues with the car at all, clean and tidy, everything was working. Super pleased. Will use again.

After using Citybee cars for several years, the company suddenly invalidated my account saying I need to renew my driving license. Yet my license is valid to 2032. It appears they had stopped accepting older-type licenses which were issued before the EU standard. This is against international agreements, the authorities confirmed that. My license has always been accepted by every car rental in the world that I have used, from Europe to the U.S. Trying to sort this out, Citybee's service was very slow - it took more than 18 hours to get a decision, which then was still negative - they would not budge!

Go far away from this company, if You want to avoid financial problems. Deducting "taxes", breaking agreements, horrible service. Also sister company called My Bee (long time rental services) -same situation. It's just nice wrapped service - but actually smells really bad... Avoid this company, friendly advise.

This company is falsely advertising that they accept USA licenses. They accept some, but not the newer ones from states that do not have your class clearly listed since it's a STANDARD license to drive regular non commercial cars per the GOVERNMENT. We even sent them an international drivers license that you need to drive in the Baltics which they completely seemed to ignore.

Had a minor accident with the citybee car (bruised the side of a car, almost noticable). Told citybee about this, they sent me a check with a huge amount of car repair works that are not even connected to the accident. Random other parts repair and so on. I dont recommend citybee, it has been a very unpleasant experience. Please take a taxi or smth, but dont use citybee.

Huge company, but has very poor security standarts. In February of 2021 private information (national identification numbers, full names, email addresses) of ever 100 thousand people were leaked. Passwords that are super easily unencryptable were leaked as well.On top of that the company is making up lies to save itself, f.e. telling completely false information to it's customers - that their accounts and financial details are safe, which is obviously not true.

City Bee would not let me rent a car because there was no class on my Indiana License and they said it wasn’t valid to drive their cars. Also customer service is rude and mean if you are English speaking. Terrible experience.

Tricky and shady, they charge extra for starting trip and suprise fees to finish reservation. They offer discount for refuelling car, but you need to beg it from support. You cannot use discount voucher for the same trip.

Comfortable and easy to use! Useful packages for more days, refuelling paid by citybee. Possibility to travel across cities and Lettony and Estony. Costumer service incredible, kind and prepared, answer very fast!!

For a premium price I got very bad service. What happened is I rented a car and it was so slippery that in the beginning I was stuck on spot for 5 min. I also got stuck for a few minutes in the middle of the traffic. At the same time all of the other cars were able to drive. Probably citybee uses cheap winter tires. Being cheap on customers safety doesn't feel right to me. I asked for a refund but the customer service told me that car stuck in the snow was my fault and they wont refund me.

They are not flexible at all. I had a plan for 7 days and then wanted to cancel it or change it, they said they can refund money and then changed their mind, I could not get my money back and they did not suggest any other options. Also, the car was very dirty.

Private information leaked. They are not responding just telling people to reach police/authorities which protect your information by yourselves

not cool, not clean cars, not investing in security.

My recent experience resolving a registration issue went well and I have always found using their service to be reliable and easy.

Very bad service. Not recommended

Worst customer service avoid this rental company.
