The navigation system in the Citroën Berlingo Talla M BlueHDi 100 S&S Plus presents serious issues that compromise driver safety. Instead of featuring an integrated navigation system, it functions solely as an extension or interface for the mobile phone, which is the actual device operating the system. This means that without a compatible smartphone, you cannot use the voice control or other key functions of the system.What’s most concerning is that —without the apps compatible and decided by Citroën— approximately 80% of the operations must be performed directly on the phone, forcing the driver to interact with it while driving, an action that is both prohibited and highly dangerous. To make matters worse, the system only works fully with paid apps. If you opt for free alternatives, the vehicle’s screen won’t play music, requiring you to use the phone to change songs or adjust settings. Additionally, the system quickly drains the phone’s battery, adding another layer of inconvenience.The practical driving assistance system is overloaded with safety commands that make it difficult to use, and disabling them is often more distracting than navigating a simple menu. In summary, this navigation system is not only impractical and heavily reliant on the smartphone (if your phone is lost or stolen, you also lose access to GPS), but it also endangers driver safety. Basic tasks such as listening to music or using GPS become frustrating and hazardous experiences unless you’re willing to pay for additional apps.

Terrible customer service. They charge 220Euro for a certificate of conformity that other manufacturers (Skoda,Renault etc) provide free of charge and the process takes weeks and weeks - other manufacturers send these in a few days !

Citroen jumper van 2020 has been at the Allan Milne dealership for almost a year now. Citroen does anything they can do to waste time and not to pay for repairs. Citroen customer care service does not care at all. They are very fast to close every single case without actually dealing with the issues or without providing any advice.

My 2021 C4 developed a fault with the " récepteur télématique" which operates much of the screen electronics /SatNav etc. The fault was diagnosed by my local Citroen garage on 4th August 2023 and they said they would order the part to repair under guarantee. It is now 5 MONTHS later and still no repair. Garage says they are trying to obtain the part but it is in short supply!

I’ve had my Citroen grande Picasso since new. At some point there was a recall to replace the cap on the ad blue tank as the old cap burnt out the motor. This cost them a fe £s. Unfortunately the damage to the pump had already been done which Citroen were fully aware of. My car now needs a new tank and pump as a result of this and Citroen won’t cover the cost but informed me they would have if I had asked for it to be replaced earlier. As the customer, it isn’t until this failed that I carried out an online search for what the problem was that I was aware Citroen knew about this when the replaced the cap but didn’t offer to replace the damaged tank. So now due to a fault Citroen were and are fully aware I have to pay out a lot of money and they are not prepared to contribute any!

I purchased a brand new Citroen Picasso C3. Always I had unpleasant surprise. 'Default Moteur' . I spent lot of money in the Citroen garage successively. They explained me all the time it's fowling of engine (Encrassement moteur).But as I know it is rare in petrol car. In the next occasion I purchased a braznd new TOYOTA. never I had a single problem.

Citroen extended warranty a waste of paper no claim ever paid

Cheap but incredibly annoying.We have just bought a new C3 and although a cheap tin can it's got all the bells and whistles of Apollo Space Craft.The images of the dash dials have more than a dozen each small warning lamps and icons within them. If one pops up you have to stop and wade through the 191 page handbook.The 'Touch' screen is 7" or 8" and so many of the cars functions you need to wade through several menus to adjust or turn on/off, which for safety requires you to stop and park up just to turn the heating up or down or put the radio on your station.Luckily the lights and wipers are auto so no need to grab the obvious stalk or switch but the cruise stalk is right next to the indicator stalk my wife keeps energising cruise and swears blind she never touched it.And thats without the myriad of buttons and controls within the steering wheel.It took me two days to find out a small red warning light was actually green, telling me the 'proximity' warning light was activated.!And another thing.Blooming touch screen turns off after a couple of minutes when you park up, so you can't use the radio, Sat Nav, phone, etc. without having the engine running. Bloody madness as you can't park up and listen to the radio or hold a phone conversation for more than two minutes without starting the engine. Some economic crazy polluting idea that.I guess we will eventually get used it it but a whole new learning curve. At least the seats are very comfortable despite no arm rests.

PSA has wrongly designed their urea system in vehicles built until 2018. PSA has made some campaigns trying to delay the failure of the component as for example changing the urea cap to a version with air vent (original issue was created due to vacuum inside the tank that was making the pump work more than needed and deforming/breaking the tank). PSA, now Stellantis, has not done a proper recall and asks customers to pay 1300 euros for fixing their wrongly designed component. Citroën does not want to take responsability for vehicles that have always been serviced at official Citroën workshops according to Citroën service book when they have only partially fixed the original issue during warranty period.

If I could give Citroen a '-0' I would. This company literally lets their consumer drive one of their unroadworthy cars (officially reported by the EU 2020 as a dangerous product) and at this moment in time have failed to do anything about it to make things right. They're not one bit bothered that my son's road safety has been seriously compromised in one of their vehicles. A huge company like Citroen should be ashamed! PLEASE CONTINUE TO READ TO THE END as this is vital for consumers (under the Consumer Rights Act 2015).After purchasing a 2016 Citroen DS3 car from Stoneacre, Derby, the problems began after only 4 months of having the car when the engine management light came on. Upon driving 2 hours on the motorway, he decided to get the AA out to check that he was safe to return home.This was the first in a long list of severe problems but the most horrendous was being told by Stoneacre, Derby in October 2023 that his car was 'terminal' (engine completely knackered because of the wet belt). We since found out that his car, a DS3 had had recall in 2021 for the timing belt and brake vacuum pump. As you can work out, if the brake vacuum pump goes, his life would have been at risk. However; Citroen have stated that his VIN number doesn't come under the recall but his car falls under the same make, model, year and engine size as the recalls.This may be an anomaly but it fits the criteria exactly as the recalls but Citroen are still defiant.When we reported this to them, their response was that the car was 'too old and had done too many miles' and immediately closed the case. This was an absolute joke as the car had only done 63,000 miles on a 2016 plate. Based upon the average mileage being 10,00 per year, this was easily 7,000 miles under.However; this problem won't go away, as a mother with a son who was driving an unsafe vehicle, I will do everything in my willpower to show the general public how savage and disgraceful these so-called big companies can be.THERE'S MORE: as we're in dispute with Stoneacre, Derby and CA Autofinance over this, we thought that Citroen would have the over-riding responsibility to acknowledge their vehicles failures and accept responsibility. How naïve could we be? After 5 months of having a car sit at Stoneacre garage whilst still paying finance on it, we have now decided to have a document prepared to take to court and we're going public in ANY WAY we can until our voices are heard and these immoral businesses are bought to justice. We have been under so much stress for 5 months and continue to do so. I wouldn't wish this situation on anyone!Tabloids, radio, social media here we come!

After 3 years my engine of C4 had to be change. Your engine has a problem with oil consumption!

Very happy with my c5 aircross 2.0 diesel. No problems encountered yet, 46,000 km.

Good engine, the rest is bad.
