cheapfareguru.com Review
Today, the Scam Detector's validator finds cheapfareguru.com having a medium risk authoritative rank of 54.00. It means that the website is Questionable. Minimal Doubts. Controversial.
Our VLDTR algorithm gave the 54.00 rank according to the work of 53 factors that are relevant to cheapfareguru.com's industry. We have aggregated essential elements from the quality of service in its Booking Site niche to public feedback from clients and DA (Domain Authority).
Other dominant factors in the cheapfareguru.com review include, but are not limited to, Tranco rank, SSL certificate, and IP address.
What does "Questionable. Minimal Doubts. Controversial." mean? Well, this is a business that's been online for quite some time, but with a few hiccups. It appears that cheapfareguru.com has been getting both positive and negative feedback in the past. That means that you need to exercise extreme caution if you decide to proceed with getting involved.
Understand The Review
The Scam Detector algorithm aggregated factors that looked at the company's website in particular, in this case cheapfareguru.com. When we analyze websites, we try to find details that reveal key information about the professionalism of a business - e.g., poor customer service, how they sell, etc. For instance, if we look at a restaurant's website, we don't rate how tasty the food is, but rather how they sell it online (overcharges, deliveries, etc).
Our validator is not a vanity tool, so if you're the manager or the owner of cheapfareguru.com and you're not happy with the 54.00 ranking, keep in mind that your website reflects your business. It definitely needs certain improvements. It could be anything from the HTTPS connection to the online management system. On the other hand, it could be your public reviews, which are impactful.

Cheapfareguru is an absolute scam. DO NOT use this site. They do not answer their phones, their policies are not clear. They charge for changes and cancellations when they are free from the airline. Again we cannot emphasize enough how much of a scam they are.
Terrible terrible company. I googled Kayak. but somehow their website popped up as a huge ad, and I actually thought it was Kayak, just calling themselves the “cheap fare guru” as part of their ad. I’m an old woman, but generally pretty savvy. Wanted to schedule a trip from Reno to New England to attend my 50th college reunion. Found something OK but not great on their site, and grabbed it – just to be sure I had something, since they insisted it was fully refundable for 24 hours. Subsequently found a much better itinerary directly on another airline’s website, immediately canceled the reservation on their website…and they had there audacity to charge me $50! I travel frequently domestically and internationally, have used many websites and have NEVER been charged such a fee. Must have been in microscopic print somewhere on the confirmation email I received after booking the flight. Outlandish and should be illegal!
I have a CheapFareGuru e-ticket confirmation for booking id 2205128492 for a round trip flight from SFO to Dublin and return from Dublin to SFO Mon. Aug, 29 return on Sept. 18, 2022.Airline confirm. # is A2K8Z5. I have called United Airlines because the Flights are shown on this reciept as United Airlines Flights 8292, 8683 and 8694 and they have no record of me purchasing this ticket. I was trying to get my seat assisgnment because I paid over $4,000 for BUSINESS Class and still don’t have a seat assiognment. How C AN YOU CONFIRM THESE FLIGHTS. DO I HAVE TO CALL AIR CANADA? I AM DOING THIS A MONTH FROM WHEN I FLY BECAUSE I DON’T WANT TO HAVE A PROBLEM WHEN I SHOW UP AT SFO WITH ONLY THIS AIRTIKT CONFIRMATIPON PAGE #2205128492. aGENT BOOKING ID3A2K8Z5 E-TKT# 016-7813519976 PLEASE HELP I AM 88 YEARS OLD AND THIS IS TO BE MY LAST TRIP OVEWRSEAS.
My experience with Cheap Fare Guru was poor at best! I would not recommend them to anyone. I have gone so far as to report them to two Federal agencies. They seem to be discriminating against my handicapped family. They are not reasonable to work with nor do they even try to be. I just say to anyone that buyer beware! I would rate them a “2” and even that would be generous. Zero comes to mind.
I booked two flights with Cheap Fare guru and within a week received a notice saying United Airlines change was needed to my booking. I looked at the new booking and could not see any difference to my tickets so I called Cheap Fare to ask what was different and why I needed to confirm the change with them. They said a flight number was changed. Then the next day I noticed a $50.00 charge from them. Since my flight is not until May how many times are they going to continue to charge me extra? This seems to be a scam!! What can I do?
