I shopped in a mall store. When I got home I looked at what I purchased and at my receipt I found that I was charged for a shirt I didn’t buy. I was charged for 2 different tank tops and I only bought 1! Now there’s no way to prove that I was charged for something I do not have. I am left to wonder if the associate bought herself a shirt with my card since it has a totally different item number than mine. I never thought I would have to worry about being conned by a mall store cashier but here we are. Check your receipt before you leave the store if you decide to shop at Charlotte Russe!
Went to Charlotte Risse in East Towne mall (Madison WI) amd the manager kept yelling out closing in 20 minutes and every minute or 2 after so I took the 2 items that they said I hadno time to try on to the counter I asked the manager if these didn't fit couldI return them she said"no problem " I tried them on at home 1 fit 1 didn't so 2 dayslater iwent to return the item andwas told I couldonly get store creditor exchange. "It even says so on your receipt " Ok, so wrning me AFTER it was too Late to do anything about it must equal good Business?? Wow! That's like telling someone after their in the middle of the pool that the lifeguard doesn't know CPR!
I did order since 12th of May, since then I didn't get any response just some fake emails that is updated the status of your order. This website should be blocked 🚫 😤 and shouldn't use anymore our card details, is a SCAM. They keep sending me offers and sale, I paid for a satin set 39£ .
Awful experience, they have the worst echange and return policy because they don't give any refunds and you are not allowed to exchange some clothing like bathing suits even though its not worn, washed, or damaged (They don't give you your money back). After reopening, it has really gone downhill. This isnt the same Charlotte Russe before closing. All of their clothes are now third party, mostly Asian brands I'm assuming due to terrible sizing and quality. Learned this the hard way after ordering online. Went to one of the stores that reopened and it was mostly trashy and cheap club clothes, but not the good kind of club clothing. Super disappointed with what happened to this company as it used to be one of my favorite stores. Wont be surprised when they file bankruptcy again. I purchased a jacket which took over a month to arrive. When it arrived, it was garbage and unlike the photos. The photos show a wool, embellished jacket. What I received was children's halloween costume/pajama material. When I wrote to them explaining my dissatisfaction and complete false advertising, they told me I had to pay to ship it back to China which was 1/2 of what I paid for the ugly thing. Bought a bunch of clothes-spent a good $70 in the store and obviously couldn’t try on due to covid. So I go home and nothing fits(their xl is equivalent to a normal xs) to then find out that I cannot get my money back- only a merch credit or an exchange!!?? They said they would provide me a prepaid label for my return due to having a terrible experience in store when I was refused a return (the email confirms they were wrong to refuse me). Once I gave them my order number (which they asked for to provide the label) they stopped responding. I have been trying to get back in contact for days! We went shopping inside the store and inside the fitting room my daughter lost a hot topic bag . When we went looking for the bag the manager didn’t want to open the doors and when we asked for security cámaras the manager told us that they were fake. Charlotte Russe re-opend last year, now were in a Covid pandemic and this store has no clue about how to handle anything. Their store has terrible inventory, and they don't take returns, don't waste your time shopping here. They need to close or change the way they do business.
As others have mentioned, the worst return policy. DURING pandemic where you can’t try on clothes, they have only 14 days for a freaking exchange or gift card! Luckily I only spent $25, but I was so pissed and just couldn’t believe that any retail business would have that return policy during COVID-19. Absolutely unacceptable! In that case they should clearly state when making a purchase in the store that they do not give refunds. Went there the other day again to spend that gift card and the dang thing doesn’t fit again! Now I have to drive 30mins within 14 days, just terrible experience. Never shopping there again!
Long story short, I was browsing through the online and accidentally clicked apple pay. To my surprise, the order went through. I tried to contact them as soon as the order was placed because 1, the shipping address was incorrect and 2, it was an accidental purchase. Not even 24 hours has passed and they got back to me telling me that I can't cancel or update the shipping address because IT ALREADY HAS BEEN SHIPPED! not even 24 hours!!! HONESTLY Charlotte Russe online shopping was horrific. Terrible communication. Misrepresentation of product. Poor sizing. Poor quality. Poor customer service. I had a $55 store credit to Charlotte Russe before they closed. Now, upon announcing their store closings I would've used it, but then they very quickly announced they'd be reopening under the SAME NAME. However, now my store credit is apparently invalid despite it being the same store, and there isn't even a customer service number I can call. I used to love this store, and in return they have robbed a loyal customer.Reading these reviews, I'm not the only one they're robbing. The sizes, which were all small, varied. One was too small and the other slightly big which left me with one that I will feel comfortable wearing. They also looked cheaper than expected and one was poorly sewn. Two additional tops purchased were suitable for their intended purpose. Overall it wasn't an all bad experience for a first time buy.

“Cheap material”
I bought the Star Print Cold Shoulder Skater Dress (http://www.charlotterusse.com/star-print-cold-shoulder-skater-dress/*******.html). It was so cute, and I liked it a lot. I was planning on wearing it on my vacation after wearing it to a wedding. After 2 washes and 1 wear, a few part on the top (both front and back) was torn apart. I know the bad quality that I might get from Charlotte Russe, but after 2 washes and 1 wear... I will not shop at charlotte russe anymore

I ordered a bunch of items at once (about 30) and they all came in one package, very quickly- which is so nice. The only reason they are not getting 5 stars is that they forgot one item (which happens when you order a ton of stuff at once; we're human) but instead of shipping me that one item they had to give me a refund which took about 10 business days (give or take). So now if I want that item I have to reorder it and pay for shipping all over again. I just wish they would've resent it because I haven't been able to find it in their local stores. Aside from that, they had customer service on weekends which responded quickly and kindly and the package was mostly accurate and it arrived fast.
“Poorly manufactured clothes”
I bought a pair of pants that didn't fit and was told by the sales associate who made my purchase that they didn't do returns just exchanges and store credit. But these pants are poorly manufactured with the lining in the waist and hip leg area and placement of buttons on the pants. One legs of the pants has more room than the other due to the poor sewing quality. I should have read the store reviews before making a purchase. I'll be donating these pants. “One of my main online shopping sites!”
I really like this store specifically for crop tops/tops, dresses, underwear, sandals, and jewelry. Been using this site for the last few years and never had any issues except the occasional out of stock product which has always been refunded. They always seem to be having different sales/promotions going on. I've spent anywhere between 6$ (with free shipping) and 100$ on a single order with no problems at all. Ordered a few dresses 2 weeks ago. The dresses haven't shipped yet. Can't get replies to my emails from their customer service. Fortunately i paid through paypal so I wont be charged until item ship. If they ever do.

It was my first time ordering online from them. I ordered 4 boots on 12-21-15 while they had the $20 sale. I was so worried after reading all their bad reviews but i have to say everything worked out wonderfully! I have no complaints at all! My orders shipped the very next day and the tracking was always upto date letting me know where my package was. I received my order in 4 days! I dont understand why everyone is having problems. Im a very happy customer! Also my shoes came brand new and without any mistakes.

Charlotte Russe used to be nice, but now with the new management, it has fallen to pieces. I spent over $100 and was not made aware of their new return policy. If you buy it online, you must return it via mail. Oh and if the item you purchased is less than $6.95, even if you're sending back $50 worth of product, they won't accept it. The customer service team really does take 2+ days to respond to one email, and they never answer your questions directly so there's always still confusion. Then you email them again and have to wait another 2+ days. I would never recommend shopping here anymore. Half the clothes I ordered were cute and fit well and the other half were terrible.

I'm in the same boat with everyone who tried to order a package and have it arrive before 12/24. Now it's 2017 and my package was never even brought to Fedex. I've called their customer support over 3 times already, emailed them multiple times, and yet they refuse to cancel and refund my order. “Online ordering has gone downhill”
I've been ordering online from Charlotte Russe for the past 5 years or so and they use to be great but past 2-3 months, online ordering has been horrible. One of my orders took a full 2 weeks to even get shipped out after emailing them twice about it. And their response both times was so generic I don't even think they read my email, just the subject line. Two times I've gotten emails about 8 days later saying my items are now out of stock. Why would it take that long to notify me? Now my current order that I placed Nov 25 and it's Dec 5 and still nothing about it being shipped. They've definitely changed something about how they handle online orders it was never this bad, nor do I have any of these problems with any of the other stores I order from. This is definitely the LAST time I will be buying anything from this company!
“PLUS CUTOFF SHORTS”
I have ordered from Charlotte Russe online twice now and am pretty pleased with their service. My most recent order was for one pair of plus size, jean, cutoff shorts - Refugee, I think. I ordered them one size up, just in case the shorts ran a little small. I received them today, cute, good fit, a little loose, not to short in length. Four stars due to how long it takes to receive one, in-stock item, that is my only compliant at this point.
“Quality on the decline”
I have shopped here for years, the plain black leggings here used to be my favorite! They no longer carry those same leggings and have filled their stores with cheap material leggings that not only are see through but look scratchy. I used to buy a ton of stuff everytime I stopped by, I'm not sure whos picking the styles they now have but I am not a fan at all. I can barely find anything I like anymore. The quality in their clothing has definitely declined, and the swiftness of shipping online orders has as well. I'm very disappointed recently as I've always loved this store, it has been my go-to for a very long time. If something doesn't change, I will no longer be a customer.

I have ordered from CR many times over the years as well as shopped there. It was my favorite my store and I've never had a single complaint. WHAT has happened to this company?! I was missing an item from my order so after days of being on hold with customer service their response was literally, "I don't know what to do." how about refund my money?! They said they would email me a form to fill out to get my money refunded OR be charged again for the missing item then be refunded "later on". Seriously. BEWARE. Also, with my order I received a random pair of boots I didn't even order. Sigh.

I tried to buy some things on thier site recently only to have my credit card not work. Does not tell you why, just shows red and won't process. I know my card is fine. I tried to call customer service only for the phone number to be disconnected! What? So I email them, and it says will respond in 1 business day, it's been 4 and nothing. I wrote them again and nothing. They obviously do not care about thier customers. No use going to the store either because thier plus size section is literally that, a section. It's a small corner in the back with horrible selection. It's obvious what kind of customers they cater too. I will be going elsewhere from now on.

Very bad customer service. This girl named Jackie was really rude and unprofessional. That's why she will always work where she works for $10 or less. No good company will tolerate how she talk to customers. They cheated me, they charged me three separate $6.99 shipping for three items that I returned in the same return box. This makes no sense at all. I was told a manager was going to call 24-48 hrs, no one ever called. Charlotte Russe has the worst customer service. I will make sure everybody that I know never shop there.

Surprised to see all of the bad reviews. I love this company. I check the site everyday because they have great promos. I get most of my shoes from here and I love the extended sizes (xs!) the only thing is they rarely restock items even if they're very popular and in stores sometimes they make you feel guilty if you don't exchange something rather than getting your money back. Also they stopped allowing comments and stopped giving promo codes with every online purchase.

Charlotte Russe takes ages to ship products, the quality is poor, and they refuse to credit returns, inventing policies at will to steal your money. Charlotte Russe was one of my favorite clothing stores. I've never had any problem with my shipments, never ran into any rude workers, etc. What's frustrating me about Charlotte Russe is how they've updated their website and they do not have an option for E-Gift Cards anymore, nor do their credit card years expand past 2020. I've spoken to many of their associates and not one knows when this will be fixed. I've been missing sales and cannot get a refund! “I've had good and bad experiences”
Charlotte Russe is usually my go to shopping store. Recently, I've ordered 6 dresses and 6 sandals on their buy 1 get 1 $12.50 deal. When I got these items, they didn't give me the right dress and the dress they did give me was very ugly. All except for one of the dresses either was too small or too big and I ordered them all in medium. With the shoes, same situation. I was extremely disappointed with this purchase but I'll still shop at Charlotte Russe because I love their jeans, jackets, and dressy tops. I learned my lesson with ordering dresses online and I recommend that anyone who does order online, make sure you know your size in certain garments

I've been shopping online here for years and have always had positive experiences. The most recent time one of my items I paid for was not in my order, I called and they gave me the credit for the missing item by the next day and they didn't question me at all, super helpful and friendly. My only downside is having to pay the extra money to have it shipped to Canada as it adds on a significant amount but other than that I've always been happy with my orders, I was surprised to see so many negative reviews
“Speedy delivery and everything as described”
I just recently made my first purchase online. Charlotte Russe jeans are my absolute favorite and they were even cheaper online than what I normally pay for them. In addition to the jeans I also ordered sweaters, jewelry, and shoes. Everything was delivered very quickly, exactly as described and packaged very well. I will definitely be placing another order.

Love doing online shopping from charlotte russe. I've made 3 orders in the past 2 months because of all their sales and all have arrived super fast, within 2-3 days :) I've never had any problems. “Avoid this store”
Charlotte Russe has been my all time favorite store for YEARS. Until now. I have noticed they have changed their styles significantly recently and I am not a fan of their new stuff. I recently placed a very large order online and out of the 14 items I got, I am returning 13 of them! I am not that picky when it comes to clothes, but everything was see-through and fit poorly, despite being my size. The dresses and skirts are WAY too short. I am 5'3" and a size small and every dress and skirt I tried on completely showed my butt if I bent over even slightly. I have been an extremely loyal customer for years and I can tell you that their clothes did not used to be like that. It makes me so mad because I absolutely adored this store and now I can't find a thing that fits right and isn't see-through. I am done shopping at CR for good.

Do not shop from them ever. I've never experienced such a bad order as I did right now. Ordered two boots from their website, one regular price and one for $8. I was happy with one of them but the other arrived stained and with the right boot completely missing a buckle. I called, expecting to get the return these and get an undamaged pair. Nope. She said I could return these, get back $8, and put in a new order for them at the current price of $45. What on earth? First of all, they send out damaged products and then they dont even attempt to fix them? I'll be returning both pairs as soon as possible (in the store or else I have to pay for shipping for the undamaged ones) and never shopping there ever again. A pity since I always liked their physical stores.
