Is cellphonerepair.com Legit?

Took my Samsung in for repair. Told me $300 to replace screen. Final cost was $400. Samsung factory screen replacement is $269. Filed with BBB but no resolution.BEWARE.

If you go to the location on Park Ave in Memphis, you are not in good hands.I brought my phone in when its side button stopped responding to presses/clicks. They told me the button needed to be replaced and charged me about $100 for the repair. When I got it back, I quickly noticed that the button, which also has touch-sensitive functionality, was no longer responding to swipes up and down, which had always worked fine. I returned it so they could fix this new problem. After hearing nothing for about six days, I called them. The swiping wasn't working, they said, because the replacement button they installed did not have that functionality. They said they couldn't find a proper replacement button, so they used one that worked halfway. At no point during the repair process was I told that I would lose this functionality and that they were not fully repairing my phone. Had I known this beforehand, I absolutely would have looked for a shop that could fully fix my device or considered putting my $100 towards a new phone. If they knew their replacement wasn't fully functional and didn't tell me before accepting my money, that's a scam. If they didn't know until after I pointed it out, they are too ignorant to be repairing devices. Either way, forget these guys.

If only I could give zero stars. Don't fall for the "free" worldwide screen replacement scam. The person who mis-sold this to my husband didn't mention that they aren't worldwide, and the new screen is not free. Newsflash - having to send your phone to another continent to have the screen replaced is not worldwide nor even realistic!

We received awesome service!!! We have an autistic son that broke the charge cord in the charge port on his favorite iPad. He would not eat or drink because of it. When we explained the situation, they were extremely understanding and helpful. They even gave a discounted rate and had it fixed within an hour. It was a life saver for us. The service representative was very understanding and compassionate, he dropped everything to get it done right away even though he was very busy. Highly recommend!! We went to the repair shop on Columbia Avenue in Lancaster.

Very Rude, with a terrible attitude. He stated false claims on the info his receipt would contain. He was also not willing to work with a third party (a simple phone call) that I purchased Insurance through for repair reimbursement. I would give him ZERO stars if possible.

My phone was taken here for a new screen, after 2 days the entire screen came off, took it back only for the owner (who also owns a vape shop in Coleraine) told me he wasn't fixing it, I told him we don't like getting scammed only for him to laugh in my face, he also implied northern Irish ppl are stupid. Do not go here, they use cheap knock off screens. When I took the phone elsewhere they showed me the stamp on the screen which proved it was a cheap screen. Do not go here and do not go near their vape shop either as I sure u will be met with the same attitude

Cliff notes versionOwner is a jerk who only cares about money not his customers.I got my screen “repaired” about a week ago and it somehow developed a minor crack two days later. I didn’t drop it, squeeze it or do anything that would normally cause a crack. I read the warranty and it said it doesn’t cover physical damage. Since it was literally two days later I figured there was good chance that they’d fix it out of good faith. I called and asked about it and was told I could get a measly $10 off a whole new repair($215 after tax). I went today in person to ask again. The owner rudely told me the same thing.I politely walked away and waited for customers to show up so I could explain to them that they should use a different location because the owner of this one is just an ass. Some customers did come by and I waited for them to leave the store to talk to them(you pay after).The owner followed me out there and asked if I had a problem with him, obviously I did. He proceeded to argue with me in front of the customers and capped off the conversation by telling me he’d call the police(again I was outside).The police did show up and were very understanding and respectful. They understood that the owner was just being a jerk but they did have to give me a notice of trespass, as they should have and I figured they would. I talked to them about where I was allowed to be and the owner was hearing this. He said he’d call the property manager and have her trespass me from the whole strip mall.We’ll see how it plays out but the point of this is just to say if you are considering doing business with this guy just don’t. If you want to use CPR there are two other franchises very close(the Arboretum and Indian Trail locations).

We brought in our iPad on 12/04/2023 for a messed up screen. They fixed it and it looked brand new by the end of the day. A few days later, we noticed a tiny crack on the screen protector and the iPad was lagging. We took off the screen protector and found that the crack was actually on the iPad screen itself. We went back to the store on Monday, but they refused to fix it under warranty, claiming it was from a drop. We asked if they inspect the entire iPad before returning it, but they don't have a checklist. The manager insisted on us paying for the repairs again, even though he fixed it himself and was training to know all the positions, a real tech didn't fix the device.

I went to get my iPhone repaired which took 3 hours But when I got home my mic and gps wasn’t working. Went back to the store, no apology and staff was rude. I left my phone for another hour and verbally told him I was disappointed and he still didn’t apologize. He kept on finding a reason for the problem instead of been accountable

I found CPR Phone Repair through Zagg as they appear to be who you go to for local Zagg warranty repairs. Problem is the one I physically went to had their lights on but the inside looked as if they are packing up. Walls were bare with card board boxes laying around the store (What I could see through the glass). I called the number on door (VM), txted as they suggested for a “faster response”, and sent them an email. No response. I did the same for 2 other local locations with the same result. I decided to call CPR HQ also with negative results. Their social media seems normal but I’m starting to think they went out of business. If they haven’t now, with CS like this, they will soon.

Took my son’s PS5 in for a simple HDMI port replacement which was to take 5-7 days and it took 6 weeks. Take a look at the damage for yourself in the uploaded video made by Tronifixs on You-Tube. The owners, Brett and Vince, refuse to take accountability and ownership for this high-end item damage and speak to you like your are a child when you try to communicate with them. The lack of unprofessional is something I have never seen before from a business. They did not respond to the BBB complaint and continue to take my reviews down on their site. Please learn from our mistake.

Wonderful service! I was out within 10 minutes, my problem was solved, and they didn’t even charge me. I’ve gone here a couple times now- always exceptional.😊

DO NOT GET…I took in my iPhone XR because my screen was completely destroyed after I dropped it on the road. Next thing ya know, the “new” screen they gave me had lines in it and the battery was completely ruined! It lost 10 percent of the MAXIMUM capacity which is the amount of charge your battery can hold. Update: After I think 3-4 trips, we FINALLY fixed the issue as far as right now.

I had a new screen installed and at the time they sold me a screen protector and would install it when they installed the new screen. About three months later I noticed the right top edge was cracked and I went back in to ask them to warranty my ZAGG screen protector. The service guy told me that I didn't have a screen protector on my phone. I told them that that was supposed to be done when the screen was replaced. They looked in their computer at my records and confirmed that it was. I asked them to replace my screen and they "supposedly" called the owner, but they said they couldn't do that. Neither did they offer to put a screen protector on my phone since I had paid for one. I have tried on two other occasions to get them to at least do something but they have not.

A few weeks ago, Cesarwent to considerable lengths to try to get my phone to work. He would not take anything for his trouble. Both he and Francisco, who gave me directions over the phone were very friendly, courteous, and helpful.

The CPR - CellPhoneRepair of Canada I have nothing bad to say about this company the work is good they are professional and usually you aren't waiting weeks for your phone to be repaired.I recommend them to everybody I know.

i went to the Fairlawn store in Ohio and Joshua was fantastic. He fixed my screen and was very professional and true to his word. I had ordered a lifetime warranty for my screen protector and he stated if i brought it in he would replace it. He did and was very knowledgeable about the whole process. A total asset to the company

The store on Marshall Street in Syracuse, NY, is wonderful! I have gone there for iPads and laptops and they communicate well, are fast, affordable, and very fair!

Puchased screen saver a couple months ago for about $50. Was told it was it had life time replacement cost for about $10. Broke the screen and had it replaced. Went to get another screen protector and was refused because it was removed by the company that replace the screen. Had my receipt. Sales person said he needed the old one to send in. All new news to me. Manager would even talk to me. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS NILES OHIO STORE. SCAMMERS. STOLE $50 FROM ME.

The purpose of this review is not necessarily to knock CPR, per se. But, for you to hear the facts about what my experience was like. And for you to make your own decision as to whether you want to do business with them based on what I have experienced. $35 for a screen replacement is a really great price. But, if the resulting installed part makes your phone worse off after the repair then it's not really worth the investment of the time or money. They replaced one screen because it had a blemish. Bottom line, they installed a screen that's so buggy it calls people I don't know, out of the blue, w/o my permission. And their screen is really embarrassing me. It's under their warranty. And they're refusing to fix it. I suspect they installed a cheap Chinese knock-off part. And that's why it keeps calling people I don't know and embarrassing me. It's less hassle to spend $80 at "Batteries Plus". After, Batteries Plus removes CPR's defective cellphone screen I could hand deliver CPR's defective Chinese part back to them. But, I don't know if that red headed guy at CPR would take the removed part back or not. Learn vicariously, from my mistake, and take your cell phone to some other shop to get it repaired right. ;)
