Is cef.co.uk Legit?

There was a delay in the delivery of my order but they were totally on top of it and sent me regular updates. My order was sent to the local supplier instead of my home but they couldn’t be more helpful and had it delivered to me the same day. This company are super helpful, even though there were a couple of delays they sorted it out quickly and could not have been nicer. Highly recommend.

Went into the Kitts Green branch to enquire about a fridge light we was struggling to find. Staff always willing to help and assist. Advised to order off their website and was given the code. 2 days later as said the light 💡 arrived. Staff very friendly and polite.

Only been in twice in one day to buy an item and had to go back in for a replacement but even from the first visit could tell the customer service was top notch and was proven by the second visit. Everyone's very friendly and helping will definitely be getting my supplies from here in the future

This isn’t exactly CEFs fault but my next day delivery was not delivered by FedEx. They then can only say it will be delivered by 6pm the following day. First off, if FedEx have not delivered it in the allotted time then they should prioritise it for an early delivery the next day, not by 6pm. The tracking actually showed scheduled by 6pm on the Friday not Thursday (originally due on Weds) so I had no idea when it was actually coming. It was delivered on the 2nd day in the morning in actual fact but the stress of not knowing when it was coming and the disruption to the work needing doing was really unhelpful. CEF were responsive to emails and even called me but they didn’t have much to offer as FedEx were being so useless. I’ve been told since that FedEx in that area is always terrible. I think CEF needs a different delivery partner. I will check in future and if it’s FedEx delivering I won’t order.

Great variety of products and reasonable prices but when I went in to store to collect my order I was left waiting (with others) like we didn’t exist. pretty poor service really made us all feel unwelcome.

Fast delivery and what i received was correct which seems obvious but these days you would be surprised.

What was required, at a sensible price, well packaged, delivered promptly to a safe place. What more can one expect.

Products were exactly as ordered, but delivered to a neighbouring house. No note, no notification, guessed who it was a day after the delivery, after having to chase it up on a website and luckily they had it. Would not bother waiting this long for this service again.

Easy to find product needed online.Online process to order excellent as expected. Courtesy call after order just to check it was genuine etc etc - nice touch. Goods out the same day and delivered next day. Cannot ask for a better service.

I do not have an account with CEF but needed an Eaton RCBO and some other bits at short notice so gave the High Wycombe branch a try.I made the mistake of not checking the prices with the guy behind the counter before paying as I was in a hurry.Later on when I checked the prices listed online versus my invoice, it transpired that I had been charged around £80 for an RCBO listed on their website as £52 including VAT. The other items also seemed extortionately expensive.I find it appalling business practice that they prey on customers walking in off the street in this manner. I will never be using this business again if I can help it.

Easy to order, arrived next day, staff called to say parcel had arrived, collected it from the branch. Service how its supposed to be

The delivery went to the wrong address, nor CEF fault. I got instant information and good follow up. All sort very quickly. Will use them again.
